“I gave Tyler 5 stars, for a couple of reasons: he was easy to work with as I set up a 10-day boarding for two dogs, a 3-year-old and a 9-year-old. That's a long stretch, I realize. And the dogs initially seemed fine when we picked them up. I did find it curious, however, that the dog food I left had barely been used. And he had lost a package of glucosamine-chondroitin I'd left for the 9-year-old. After my first take that the dogs looked okay and were happy to see me, I realized how thin the 9-year-old had become: bony back and hips. She had lost quite a bit of weight, 10 pounds? These are goldens. After eating one meal the 9-year-old stopped eating for two days, until I found a food she couldn't resist. Is this on Tyler? All I can say is I wonder, and we would likely not use him again. We never did see inside his house, which is very nice on the outside, by the way, with a nice yard, so it's hard to know how he handles boarding. He did not know the older dog's name when we picked them up. My take is he handled the business end very competently, but I'm not sure how diligent he was in taking care of the dogs. The 3-year-old came home fine.”

I currently have a black German Shepard puppy, a 10 year old Alaskan Malamute, and an orange American Shorthair cat all of which are girls. About: I provide dog/cat sitting in your home. I just spent a week at a lady’s home watching her two dogs. One had an energetic personality and the other had three Legs! I helped him jump on the bed, walk down the stairs, and go for walks. I also pet sat for my friends mom. She has three dogs. All different sizes. I played fetch, made sure I got to her house on time to let them out, and fed on the desired times. I’ve also watched A Doberman, two border collies, one corgi, one Gordon setter, and last but not least an Aussie spaniel mix all in the same house. They were full of energy but very well mannered. About: I have taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. I currently have 2 dogs named Charlie and Digger (they are both Labs) and an indoor cat named Milton. My husband and I own a farm near Zumbrota, MN where we have over 100 cattle, 2 alpacas, 2 goats, lots of barn cats, and chickens. I work in EMS where I have random days off during the week and every weekend off. My schedule is flexible and I can try to accommodate any vacation or pet sitting needs you and your family may have. At this time I do prefer to watch animals in their own home where they are familiar with their surroundings. On days that I work I can do AM and PM drop ins and on my days off I can accommodate as many drop ins as needed. I will board pets at my home, but I do live on a fairly busy highway with an unfenced yard. If you wish for me to watch your pet in my home, I do ask that they are very well trained off leash or are content being on a long leash outside. I ask this for your pets safety & would absolutely hate for something to happen. When watching pets in my home, my husband comes home every day for lunch during the week and can accommodate play time & bathroom breaks.

“Incredibly accommodating, as Mayo was not. David worked around our ever changing and opaque interactions with Mayo. The care was so attentive I am not sure our pooch was ready to leave. We have never boarded our (abused) rescue dog and David’s care made this part of our Rochester experience absolutely calming and care free. About: Relocated here from Iowa. Enjoy working with different dogs. Pet lover. I completed 6 months of Veterinarian Assistant classes online. Life happened and I had to take a pause. But I am thinking about going back and finish obtaining my associates degree in the field. About: I work from home. I have a small backyard and a park nearby with a walking path. I have 3 children who are good around pets. We have one dog of our own who is a 70lb, 12 year old female. My experience comes from my own pets and checking on friend’s pets while they are away. I am available in the mornings before work, can be flexible about lunch and breaks to leave and check on pets and end my work day at 5 (Mon-Fri). If I go into work, it is often on a Wednesday and my parents come check on my dog while I am away for the day. During the school year (September-May) I am available evenings and weekends. During the summer (June-august) I have way more flexibility and can work with your needs. About: Lived with dogs my whole life and have raised 2 litters of puppies and worked with special needs dogs I really care for animals wellbeing. I have 3 dogs at home we do walks, make homemade treats and do activities. I love learning new ways of how to take care of my pets needs and new treat recipes. I DO NOT stay overnight for house sitting due to having three dogs at home and me being their only care taker, but i am able to do many drop ins or hours stay. For walks i know of many nature trails and parks or dog friendly areas in rochester i go to enrich and train my dogs. I got the dog canopy and car seat buckles in my car as well for safe travel. I have many puzzles and enrichement toys if the client wishes to test out new things to do with their dog.

About: I have taken care/ rescue dogs since I was about 15 year old I’ve worked with farm dogs big dogs small dogs, I’m very reliable when it comes to walks hikes feeding snacks an okay time, I have my own high e every dog with separation anxiety he’s a two year old husky, I’m patient an very kind, an I hope I get the chance to work with you fur babies I’m currently in school a would really love to use this as a part time flexible schedule, I have morning and some evening open to be able to check on your fur baby! I care for pets the best way I know how so if I feel like it would be safer for your dog to be walked alone an not with other dogs I will do that, I will fallow instructions if any were left for me etc

“I gave Tyler 5 stars, for a couple of reasons: he was easy to work with as I set up a 10-day boarding for two dogs, a 3-year-old and a 9-year-old. That's a long stretch, I realize. And the dogs initially seemed fine when we picked them up. I did find it curious, however, that the dog food I left had barely been used. And he had lost a package of glucosamine-chondroitin I'd left for the 9-year-old. After my first take that the dogs looked okay and were happy to see me, I realized how thin the 9-year-old had become: bony back and hips. She had lost quite a bit of weight, 10 pounds? These are goldens. After eating one meal the 9-year-old stopped eating for two days, until I found a food she couldn't resist. Is this on Tyler? All I can say is I wonder, and we would likely not use him again. We never did see inside his house, which is very nice on the outside, by the way, with a nice yard, so it's hard to know how he handles boarding. He did not know the older dog's name when we picked them up. My take is he handled the business end very competently, but I'm not sure how diligent he was in taking care of the dogs. The 3-year-old came home fine.”
“Brooke did an excellent job taking care of my dog, Bruno. He’s a large German Shepherd and can be pretty anxious in new situations, but she handled him with patience and care. She clearly knows what she’s doing and took extra time to make sure he was comfortable. She also kept me updated throughout the day, which I really appreciated. Everything went smoothly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with him again.”

She has a big yard with plenty of room for the dogs to run and get exercise. I loved that she sent pictures and updates every few days while I was gone.
