About: I’ve had dogs of my own over the years and have raised them from puppies, so I’m very familiar with all stages of a dog’s life from training and high-energy puppy behavior to the needs of adult and senior dogs. I’ve also personally fostered two daschund dogs for several years while a friend went through a difficult transition, caring for them full-time until she was able to find pet-friendly housing. That experience really deepened my understanding of long-term, committed pet care. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds from larger dogs like Boxers to small breeds like Boston Terriers, Dachshunds, and Yorkies. About: I’ve had my dog Zelda for eight years now. Still, each day is just as fun as the last. Her personality is never a challenge, and I love to play with her and take her on walks. My extended family also has many dogs I grew up with, so I am experienced with different types of dogs. I typically have free time in the mornings, as well as in the afternoon. Very willing to be flexible. My weekends are almost always open during the day; and that would be the best time for me to do longer days of care rather than just a couple hours of watching your pet. When I am not at school I have more flexibility during weekdays. In my home, my yard is not fenced, so Zelda is usually on a handheld leash (for quick outside time) or on a long leash (usually tied to the ground) when she wants to do her own thing. I always am supervising her outside to ensure her safety. I am very willing to adapt to different ways of having your dog be outside, as long as I am informed of them beforehand. When inside I always keep a close eye on my dog, as she tends to get into trouble here and there. I always make sure I have toys on hand, as well as treats. Whenever I am taking care of a dog I always try to make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

I have helped neighbors, friends, and family when they were out of town with their fur babies. I am currently a senior in highschool, but i have a very flexible school schedule. I am only on campus from 9:30-1:00 and can be with your babies any other time!! My main goal with your pets is for them to feel safe and comfortable with me. I will take your dogs for daily walks, and make sure they get plenty of exercise and play time!!
About: I have had dogs my whole life growing up and I currently have 2 large dogs. I would prefer if they are already potty trained. I am a full time college student with class in the mornings and afternoons. I would be able to do visits very early in the morning or after class/later in the day too. I am willing to exercise your dog with either a walk, throwing a ball or some other activity they like. Or on the flip side if they love chilling and getting attention I am totally down for that too.

She sent frequent updates with photos and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while Oreo was with them. Oreo loved playing with their sweet pup Bailey in their securely fenced yard and soaking up all the loving pets from the whole family. It was obvious that they genuinely love dogs and treat their visitors like part of the family. I also really appreciated the chance to do a meet and greet ahead of time so Oreo and Bailey could meet and make sure they were a good play match. I would feel completely comfortable having Oreo stay with them again anytime, and I know he would be thrilled to go back. She is always open to suggestions when it comes to me and my dog's needs. Now Trusty absolutely adores her! She's always very punctual, takes good pictures,and leaves good notes on her walks. When she isn't able to walk my dog, she has notified me far earlier than what I expected. I leave for work at 5:00 in the morning and I've had time to readjust before I leave. Hopefully recommended!”

I might be able to at my apartment, but have a dog myself and would likely need a meet and greet.

About: I’ve been caring for pets longer than I can remember - from helping grandma with her horses and barn cats to spoiling and training our own dachshund puppy and two amazing kitties - I am well equipped for any situation. Some background for me: I was born and raised in Alaska! There I took care of cats of varying abilities/disabilities/age, dogs of all sizes and abilities/disabilities/age, and fish! There’s been instances where I have stayed over a month to look over a special needs cat, and dug my car out after a heavy snow to make sure a hyper puppy gets a good hike in! Now I’m here in Minnesota to finish college, start life with my new husband, and take care of the pets in Southern Minnesota! I’m currently still a student! But I have Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the weekends for the most part completely open! About: I’ve always been surrounded with animals, including dogs, chickens, cats, bunnies, and goats. I’ve dealt with a lot of different breeds ranging from Great Danes to Chihuahua. I am certified in three years of dog training and currently live with my lovely cat, London. My days are entirely open, except for the occasional one or two days a week where I am called in from one of my other jobs. I am also a full-time college student during the fall and winter time, but my summers are almost entirely clear. In my home, I live with my cat London, and four other housemates. If your animal stayed with me, they would never feel alone and would always have somebody in the house that can watch them or be there for all their needs. We have a lovely backyard full of grass, a back deck for lounging and sunbathing and a large neighborhood for daily walks. Your pet would feel like a king or queen in a castle! :)
