The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

About: I have taken care of all types of animals since the age of 12. Most recently I have been working for almost a year at a dog boarding facility. I also own 3 dogs and 2 cats who have always been around other animals and are all up to date on vaccines I work from home and work Friday and Saturday during the mornings. About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was a baby. I have always enjoyed being around animals and playing with them and building trust with them and being able to cuddle with them on tough days. I have had different types of animals in my life. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, hamster, bearded dragon. I currently work part time as a nanny on mondays and Friday and I also currently am trying to create my own business of refurbishing furniture when I have the time. So I am available most days. About: I’m recently retired and have had dogs all my life, since being 7 years old. I had to put my last fur baby to sleep in January 2026 and will be traveling over the next few years so don’t want to get another right now, and really miss having a doggo around! I used Rover quite a bit when I had dogs so would love to pay it forward and help someone else. Plus then I hopefully will get my fix of dogs! I’m currently very flexible, having just retired. I usually walk first thing in the morning and then after dinner with our British lab, Lilly. Live in Madison Lake but willing to drive to Mankato or St. Peter, for pet sitting or dog walking. We have a great home for dogs, so am happy to do pet sitting in our home too. We have a small British lab but she is not in the house much; she is a sweet, lover dog that prefers to hang outside in her luxury kennel outside. We walk her twice daily, and she gets along with all dogs we meet.

“Margarita has been a wonderful, flexible, accommodating, understanding, champion for me and Spike. He is having a good time there. When I get him he is always a happy puppy and I can tell he is well taken care of. He comes home and he likes to take naps afterward, poor puppy having so much fun with her dogs and her cute youn son. Nice open space for Spike to walk on leash and not worry about his safety. Definitely booking again (already have the reservations). It’s nice to know that my 11week puppy has a loving and caring place that takes care of him while I am at work.”

About: My husband and I are former dog foster parents and love meeting/spending time with new dogs! We have two resident (foster fail!) dogs: Ace, a shy pitbull who LOVES other dogs and Tesha, a rambunctious tripod who LOVES people. We especially love older dogs in our house but are open to dogs 1 year and up. We have a fully fenced in backyard and a tie out available for outside play time. We have space to keep dogs separated if you have a dog that is shy or needs very slow introductions (we have a three level home). Our resident pups are allowed on our bed if they choose, but we have plenty of dog beds around too, and we do not allow them on our couch. We will do our very best to accommodate your pups needs and keep you updated on how your four legged family member is doing while you are away! I currently work from home and am able to take breaks to allow potty and attention breaks. My husband is also home most of the time and will be available when I am not. We like to do slow introductions to other dogs to ensure the comfort of our resident dogs and the visiting pups. We have the space to crate or allow roaming on separate levels if needed.

I also really appreciated the chance to do a meet and greet ahead of time so Oreo and Bailey could meet and make sure they were a good play match. About: I work remotely in marketing full time. We’re very grateful to have a nice home with a wonderful, large, fenced-in backyard that allows the dogs to go potty in and explore (bark!). My availability and hours are very flexible and the dogs are rarely left alone or kenneled, they are free to roam the house, I just close doors as necessary. I have never owned a dog of my own, I just grew up around dogs and cats. Mainly and most recently, it was a sisters two dogs our family spent the most time around: Gibbs (15 lb., 13 yr old, male Jack Russell Terrier & Beagle mix) and Zero (65 lb., 5 yr old, male Standard Poodle). I would basically Rover for her and her husband, which including giving the senior, anxiety-ridden dog meds (he didn’t enjoy, he would spit them up). We enjoyed being outdoors and evening walks around the neighborhood and having them a part of our family. They have then since moved to the West coast with their dogs. I work remotely and am blessed with the work-life balance it offers. I have an energetic elementary school-aged daughter. She's an empath and truly cares for all animals wellbeing! She's deeply concerned about any discomfort or distress. We have a dog-friendly orange cat named Buddy (4). He's fed first thing in the AM and enjoys chin scratches. He stays nearby me in my office or does his own thing. My daughter buses to and from school and I take a hour lunch at noon, then am done at 5 PM and we go about our evening routine. Dogs go out every few hours (sliding patio door) to the fenced in yard or when they signal me. Right in the morning and before bed. I try to get as much activity in for us as possible, especially on decent weather days. We utilize a nearby parks, dog park and walking trails in our community. Having the dogs here really motivate me to go for more walks, the dogs love them and I appreciate the eager walking company. I also live with my younger sister (23). She works full time 2 jobs as a CNA/retail, isn't home much but does help me care for the dogs, such as a short walk around the block. Our home is a 4 bed, 3 level split with a finished basement. It has a large secure, fully-fenced in yard and the property has 11 trees. Garage is attached. We all sleep in the upstairs bedrooms which is also where my office is. I have 2 litter boxes for my cat, one in garage that he prefers. The other is in the basement bathroom, where I can keep the door shut (Ive caught sisters dog eating litter covered turds). Our neighborhood is very safe and quiet. I have a reflective sash I wear out at night (this summer I was nearly ran over by an SUV when it was dark). The dogs usually sleep on the floor in my room and it's OK if they sleep on the bed, I am not concerned about fur. If the dog stinks, I can give them a bath either downstairs in the wash tub or upstairs in the bathtub. If they stay longer and start to stink, I will bathe them, because everyone feels better after a bath.

I now own two dogs of my own that are rescues and I love them as my own family. I have taught all my dogs to sit, fetch, and learn commands. They love to play and go smell around the neighborhood. Fresh water is always available. -I’d love to comb them if tools are provided from owners; -I provide lots of daily update pictures and/or videos; -And would be open to any reasonable requests owners might have.

About: I have had a love for dogs since I can remember. Growing up on a farm my first priority before school was to make sure all the animals were fed, watered and cared for. Your fur baby will be my first priority when I wake up and for their entire visit with me. I like to take dogs for a long walk through the park or to the dog park when they come visit. I always ensure plenty of exercise and a safe play environment. I always have plenty of time for evening walks, playtime and mental enrichment activities. The dog park is always a must during your pets visit with us! I have a heeler mix rescue that gets along with any dog, him and I go for a walk everyday and would love to take your pup with us! About: I’ve taken care of dogs all through my life, including chihuahuas, a yorkie, pit bulls, a dachshund mix, labs, rat terriers, and more. About: I have grown up with two lovely pups in my house. I helped taking care of them and even helped in training our hunting dog! I love being around animals and especially dogs. I am currently a college student I go to school at the university of Minnesota state Mankato. I am majoring in sports management with a minor in marketing. Moving back to college means I’m away from my dog at home. I am not ready to commit to getting a dog of my own due to living in an apartment, but I wanted the opportunity to be around dogs. The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) About: I have taken care of all types of animals since the age of 12. Most recently I have been working for almost a year at a dog boarding facility. I also own 3 dogs and 2 cats who have always been around other animals and are all up to date on vaccines I work from home and work Friday and Saturday during the mornings. If I am able to help I will definitely help in any way I can just message me I have a fenced yard and plenty of room for playing.
