“We feel incredibly lucky to have found Donald for our 2 dogs Moxie & Gracie .. they stayed with him for 9 days straight due to us listing our house and going on a vacation at the same time.. if we weren’t stressed out enough we were now going to leave them with a stranger for 9 days .. oh my, this was the least stressful part of everything going on .. Donald communicated daily with updates/ pics and videos about each dog / we could tune into his ring cam to see them playing outside.. they visible were so happy playing with him and the other dogs - he allows them to choose where they want to sleep and lounge .. we picked them up today and they have been sleeping most of the day! About: I’ve had dogs of my own over the years and have raised them from puppies, so I’m very familiar with all stages of a dog’s life from training and high-energy puppy behavior to the needs of adult and senior dogs. “Heidi did a wonderful job looking after our bottle baby Muffin (kitten) while we worked in office this week and last. At only 2 weeks old when we took her in, Muffin needed to be fed every 3-4 hours around the clock, and neither my husband nor I can work from home more than a day each week. Heidi came in clutch on the days we had to work in office, bottle feeding her, helping her potty, and playing with her during each visit. I had such peace of mind that Muffin was well cared for. About: I haven had dogs in my house and taken care of them since I was 7 years old. I've participated in training classes with my black lab as a puppy, as well as daily dog chores like walking, feeding, and brushing. I also have experience taking care of injured and elderly dogs. Along with caring for my own pets, I've also pet sat for neighbors and friends before. These visits included walks, play time, feeding, brushing, etc. This summer I have a part time nanny job, so I will have plenty of extra time to take care of your fur babies! I will be available weekdays after 4pm and all day on the weekends. About: I’ve had animals since I was born. Dogs, cats, chickens, and eventually convinced my dad of horses. We’ve had 2 litters of puppies, so I’m experienced in pups as well! I went to Texas for 3 months to train barrel horses and learned so much! I’ve worked alongside my equine vet for MANY years, and have learned a ton from her as well. About: When I was around 5 years old, apparently I would find pictures in books or on my mom’s desktop of cats and would BEG my parents for a cat. All I did all day was look at pictures of cats, but then my dad brought home Rambo. He is my 13 year old baby who I have absolutely adored ever since I first saw him. I’ve been a cat person all my life. Since I was little, the first thing I would do at someone’s house I hadn’t been to before was to ask if there were any cats around—I haven’t changed… I feel like I can get cats to like me, even if their owner says they’re mean, I don’t believe in that. I think that like any living being, trust needs to be earned, and for some of these beings it just takes a bit longer to learn how to warm up to others. I know mostly how cats operate and I know how to care for them and treat them based on their different personalities.
About: I've had cats in my life since I was a baby and care for 3 of my own. My cat Luna who has now passed was THAT animal in my life, if you know what I mean. I raised her from 3 weeks old and taught her to play fetch, do some basic commands, and to walk on a leash. About: I have fostered both dogs and cats in the past. From childhood to the present day, a home is not complete without some form of animal companion. I tend to be an early riser and am very flexible. Cleaning up after myself as well as your pets is my specialty. I enjoy camping and antiquing when there’s no critters to hang out with. I am familiar with many types of leash and collar. I prefer to keep a dog heeled on most of the walk, letting them run and play when it’s appropriate to do so. If you have a preferred method of control I’m happy to accommodate. I’m comfortable giving meds and have experience with all kinds of feeding. When sitting, I’d love to water your plants and get the mail-any little extras that you need. I often take my dad shopping or to doctor’s appointments, and set my own schedule with my other jobs. How long your pets can be left alone (if at all) is up to you! I’m great at following orders, especially written instructions; please tell me how you usually handle your pets so I can keep it consistent for them! I like to go for walks, and like it even more if I have company. I also always enjoy a good snuggle.

About: Dogs have been my passion since my earliest memories. When I was a young girl, I was always training my family and friends dogs. I also would take care of my friends dogs when needed. I started to get involved with dog sports around the age of 12. In addition to this, I trained my dog to be a therapy dog. When I was 16 I started to volunteer at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley for a few years before going to college. I graduated from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a degree in Communications and a minor in Leadership. It was during this time when I stumbled into working for Invisible Fence as a dog trainer. I found my true passion of training dogs through this. In addition to this, I read countless books, listened to professional dog trainer podcasts, and watched videos. Now I run my own dog training business called Tator's Training. Pet care is about the well-being of the animal as a whole... starting with nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation and being active. I have 3 dogs of my own that I work with every day. I target each category (nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation, physical activity) to make sure their needs are met. I work with dogs daily and have a flexible schedule throughout the week. About: Avid animal lovers, both fur and feathered alike! We are a family of four humans- mom and three children, with several outdoor feathered friends. We are an active household that enjoys many days outside, but also equally loves cuddling up on the couch for a movie night. At night, your pet is welcome to sleep wherever they find it most comfortable. We have had personal pet ownership experience with blindness, deafness, and separation anxiety in dogs. In addition to our own pets, we have also opened our home to foster dogs for several years, specializing and dog reactive dogs, as well as hospice/end of life care. My career consists of over a decade of hospital-based pharmacy experience, and I am now fortunate to currently work from home. With my career and volunteer dog hospice foster experience, I am comfortable and knowledgeable in administering any oral, subcutaneous, and IM medications. - We provide care to one outside family at a time to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone. I do allow exemptions for multifamily households. - Your pet will have an adult with them for at least 20/24 hours per day. Most updates are sent with morning breakfast, midafternoon rest, and before bedtime. You are also encouraged and welcome to reach out anytime outside of that. - If your pet does require a crate at any point, please ensure one accompanies them to drop off. We are a home-based boarding experience and do not have commercial kennel runs. - If your pet has been excused/banned from a commercial boarding facility, I do require a no-cost meet and greet for introductions before confirming the booking. It is my priority to ensure your pet feels safe, and I am confident in their needs before confirming commitment. - Privately insured for household companionship pets, which covers both care during boarding and any agreed-upon transportation. Keywords: home-based, medical needs, special needs, reactive, medication administration. I am generally available to accept same-day bookings as someone who works from home. At this time, my employer allows me to set my own hours, meaning I can easily adapt to your pet's schedule and any medical needs. Bathroom breaks are averaged at every two hours and anytime outside of this at your pup's request. If your pet prefers to spend afternoons in the sun, then that is where I am happy to work that day! Any pets boarded in our home can expect to have a human home a minimum of 20 out of the 24 hours in a day. We welcome your pets to rest and sleep wherever they are most comfortable- couch, pet bed, human bed, etc. If you request or your pet requires kenneling at any time, please ensure a kennel accompanies them to drop off. Our home is carpet-free (stress-free!), and we understand accidents happen. Please inform me if your pet is working on potty training, and we can reduce the number of rooms initially accessible. Our acreage is unfenced, and dogs have access to the backyard of the property. If your dog is not off-leash trained, we provide a pulley tie-out to allow them a greater range of access. If you are most comfortable with leash walking, that is also just fine with us!
About: I've taken care of all types of pets from a very young age. Whether it be a tiny chihuahua to a sizeable Bullmastiff, a cat, birds including chickens, reptiles, fish, even small furry friends like rabbits or ferrets. I have adored and been fascinated by animals my whole life and am up for any challenge you throw at me. I've personally trained my dog to follow voiceless hand signal commands and he is also special needs, so caring for a senior or special needs animal is a breeze for me! I've even provided end of life care for my grandmother's cat, which included administering fluids via injection, so don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Not to mention that I have experience raising young kittens and squirrels at milk drinking ages! I am available from 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday and overnights on Fridays and Saturdays. I could possibly do extended overnight stays in my own home if your pet is dog, cat, and young child friendly. Whether it be for a walk, potty break, comfort while you're away, socializing and training your puppy basic commands (and maybe a few tricks), or even just taking your furry friend out for a pup cup and to a sniff spot, I'm the gal for you. I will even provide litter or doggy doo doo cleanup for an additional price. Your pet will always be safe and loved in my hands. I am currently in between jobs, and my kiddos go to daycare from 7am-5pm M-F, so I am available to help between those times, or overnights at your house on Fridays and Saturdays. I could be purr-suaded to do extended overnight stays at my house if your feline is cat, dog, and young child friendly. If I am caring in my home, I have 3 cats-all fixed- a special needs male dog who is NOT fixed due to medical reasons, and two kids under the age of 5. If you choose to keep your pet at my home, they need to be able to get along with them or be kept in a separate room. If you have a female dog, they would need to be fixed with proof of spay. My special needs dog has no business procreating! I have a large home and a decent sized yard with a tie-out cable so that your pet can explore my whole backyard safely without fear of taking off. I also have a screened in porch that I often let the cats roam in during the nicer months. I have a Honda CR-V, so I can keep decently large dogs in the car as well for transport or in case of emergency. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will cuddle, play, exercise, and feed & water them to their hearts content. I will ask however for an extra fee to pick up any dog poo or clean litter boxes.
About: I have 4 playful dogs of my own (and sometimes a foster dog!), worked at a boarding facility a good chunk of my working career. Nice fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood. I currently not taking in-house boarding due to having a foster dog at the moment, can do doggy daycare. * due to having 4 dogs of my own; I do NOT take non-social dogs. I work part time (some full time some weeks) so I am usually available. I am an active person at home playing with my own dogs, my dogs love having friends over. I am not taking in-house boarding appointments due to currently having a foster dog. Dogs have a nice fenced in yard! We pick up poop daily, and there are cameras inside and outside of the house. About: I’ve had family pets as long as I can remember, cats and dogs. Currently have the chillest cat I’ve ever seen. The whole family loves animals. I work as a teacher. Weekends are always open. Summer is completely open, home anytime. Great yard for animals to play, no backyard neighbors either 1/2 acre yard. I have a clean and orderly home to easily let pets feel not threatened or overwhelmed. Big back yard and trails, sidewalks to get out on. Park across the street as well. Quiet, secluded neighborhood.

I am currently in between jobs, and my kiddos go to daycare from 7am-5pm M-F, so I am available to help between those times, or overnights at your house on Fridays and Saturdays. I could be purr-suaded to do extended overnight stays at my house if your feline is cat, dog, and young child friendly. If I am caring in my home, I have 3 cats-all fixed- a special needs male dog who is NOT fixed due to medical reasons, and two kids under the age of 5. If you choose to keep your pet at my home, they need to be able to get along with them or be kept in a separate room. If you have a female dog, they would need to be fixed with proof of spay. My special needs dog has no business procreating! I have a large home and a decent sized yard with a tie-out cable so that your pet can explore my whole backyard safely without fear of taking off. I also have a screened in porch that I often let the cats roam in during the nicer months. I have a Honda CR-V, so I can keep decently large dogs in the car as well for transport or in case of emergency. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will cuddle, play, exercise, and feed & water them to their hearts content. I will ask however for an extra fee to pick up any dog poo or clean litter boxes.

Most updates are sent with morning breakfast, midafternoon rest, and before bedtime. You are also encouraged and welcome to reach out anytime outside of that. - If your pet does require a crate at any point, please ensure one accompanies them to drop off. We are a home-based boarding experience and do not have commercial kennel runs. - If your pet has been excused/banned from a commercial boarding facility, I do require a no-cost meet and greet for introductions before confirming the booking. It is my priority to ensure your pet feels safe, and I am confident in their needs before confirming commitment. - Privately insured for household companionship pets, which covers both care during boarding and any agreed-upon transportation.
