About: Relocated here from Iowa. Enjoy working with different dogs. Pet lover. I completed 6 months of Veterinarian Assistant classes online. Life happened and I had to take a pause. But I am thinking about going back and finish obtaining my associates degree in the field. So whether it be house sitting with the animals or simply doing some walking or activities, I don't mind and will enjoy my time with them. Its something I enjoy as one of my hobbies. About: I do have one cat, she is two years old. I have grown up with dogs, 1-2 dogs always in the house. I have 3 kids ages 2,2, and 5, they have been around animals since they were born. They love animals and do really well with them. I have a busy schedule during the week, but looking to help out on the weekends when I can. My kids enjoy the extra company. My backyard is fenced in. Pets can be allowed on the furniture, but will adjust to the clients instructions. I can crate them as well.

We have had big german shorthairs, as well as miniature schnauzers so I’m accommodating to any size dog, and can easily take care of them. Animal behavior and body language has always been fascinating to me- which means I am constantly monitoring how your dog is feeling based on how they are presenting to me. I work with your dog to meet their energy and activity needs, as this is also important to their/my safety. If your dog is more active, I love to take them out for walks or take them to a secluded park to get some of that out! ;) In terms of home safety, I request that you just give me detailed information on how to lock things up (doors, rooms, garage, fences, cabinets) so I make sure to keep your animal where they should be, and have access to things they are allowed to. If you ever have any questions about anything, PLEASE ask. There are never too many questions when it comes to making sure your loved one will be safe and properly taken care of.

She has a big yard with plenty of room for the dogs to run and get exercise. I loved that she sent pictures and updates every few days while I was gone. “This is the second stay at Miranda's for our adolescent dog. We took a trip for 6 days so needed a good boarder for our furry child! She was great in keeping us informed on how he was doing and sent pictures. She, along with her spouse, clearly enjoy dogs and dog boarding. We picked up a happy and content dog, and we could tell he enjoyed being there. They have a great place with a fenced-in yard, and he is treated just like one of the family, which our dog loves. We will definitely request Miranda in the future when we need dog boarding.”
