She was also open about how her pet sitting style was approached in her home and property. In addition, it was quite apparent that the dogs they sat would have plenty of outside exercise, love and attention, as well as freedom to be a dog. Lydia loved romping around in the snow, lying in front of their fire place, and interacting with their dogs. We also learned that our dog is pretty corteous to cats, but very interested. Their four acres of land and stream are a definite amenity to an active dog's lifestyle. About: I have always been an avid animal-lover. From childhood into adulthood, I have owned and cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, birds & fish. My family & I currently share our home with two dogs, a bearded dragon, a Russian tortoise, & a ball python. I have several years of professional work experience in animal care (zoo, kennel care, walking, basic grooming) and wildlife / parks & recreation—both of which are relevant. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping all of our furry (& scaly) friends happy. I will board dogs, small mammals, reptiles & birds in my home! Upon request, I can do drop-in visits for cats or exotic animals within a 15 mile radius. I am currently a stay-at-home mom & so my schedule allows me to be at home majority of the time. If I need to leave the house, it’s never for more than a couple of hours. I have a large four-story home, which provides amble space for pets to play or to be separated if need be. About: I have raised puppies and adult dogs for many years, training them and providing the best care possible. I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I am comfortable with medication administration and high anxiety and energy dogs. I currently work full time, however my boyfriend works opposite shift of me so our pets are able to be let out frequently. Evenings are usually open for me as well as most weekends. I have a fenced large yard. I have kennels if needed and am open to using kennels provided. I can administer medication, walk dogs, brush them, and provide overnight care.

About: The thing that I was most excited about turned 18 for was finally being able to join Rover. I have been dog sitting for 5 years and have owned a dog for 11 years. I have always had the biggest love for dogs. One thing I love to do in my free time is frequently visit a shelter to go and give each one of them a little extra love. 😊 My goal is to give my clients a worry free experience and to always make sure they know there animal is in good care. I would be more than happy to send frequent pictures and updates :) Pet care fits into my routine so naturally because I truly love it! I’m already used to dog sitting often, and planning my days around feeding, walks, and lots of playtime, so adding in new furry friends is honestly the best part of my week. The highlight of my weeks will be getting to meet all sorts of new dogs and see each one of their personalities. I’m a full time college student, but my mornings from 6am-10am and afternoons after 3pm are typically open. By doing rover, this will allow me to get my dog fix while being away from home. ☺️ To start, I typically will require a meet up before the service. My home: I make sure that they have a safe space to go to and I always slowly introduce the dog to my dogs to ensure that it’s not overwhelming, given that they are already in a completely new environment. Another thing that I do, no matter what the dog is, is when everyone is gone I put my dogs downstairs, and the clients dog upstairs, just to ensure that they get there alone time. 😊

I’m mostly free the first half of the week (Monday to Wednesday) and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at anytime, and Fridays after 3 pm. I’m a very patient person and am willing to fit whatever needs your pet requires. Schedules are not a problem for me, if your pet needs to use the bathroom at 6 am every morning, or food is served at 9 am, and goes on frequent walks, I’m very flexible.

Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. “This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous but my overall experience was positive with AJ. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. I asked several questions about the plan for the day and everything seemed reasonable to me. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. When the day was over we met in the park again and (on time) and my dog was happy to see me. Thumbs up!”
About: At one time, we were breeders of Champion Golden Retrievers, and have raised many a pup, from small to large breeds. From Bernese to Yorkies, we love them all! Our furbabies are a Shorkie and Shih Tzu who are well behaved and make great hosts and playmates! Large pastures and trails on which to walk, so lots of exercise. Our canine guests will receive lots of love and attention! They will be welcome in our house if well-behaved, and treated like one of the family during their stay. We have excellent references from previous guests and do our best to make sure our every guest feels right at home. We follow all care guides given by our guests owners, including giving meds and treats as owner provides us. I or my husband are home with our guest dogs during stays. Our guests get lots of attention and care. We want to care for them as they are used to being cared for at home. We walk 3-4 times a day or as often as match the home life of our guests. They are cared for in our home and integrated into being cared for as part of our family with 2 little welcoming fur babies.

About: I have cared for dogs most of my life. I cannot remember a time growing up when my family did not include a pup of some kind. At now 28 years old I have been assissting family and friends with their dog care for years. I would love to become friends with your dogs too! I work part time as a Rock Climbing Guide in Joshua Tree. This allows me a farily flexible schedule, and keeps me active. I am available and free most days with proper heads up. I am a dog owner myself with a very friendly blue heeler male. I care for others animals as I do my own friend, and respecting you and your dogs boundaries are my first priorities. I will gladly bring my dog around if a playmate is wanted!
About: Hi Hi! I'm a former vet tech with 20 plus years of experience training and caring for pets! Day outings, overnights or drop-ins are all in my skill set! I'm an active and aware professional photographer and personal trainer and I enjoy getting dogs out on the trails, socializing, training- you name it! I mainly live in Jackson Hole, WYoming but I own my own home here in Winona. I am here some parts of the year and I would love to open up my schedule to dog care! I am very flexible during the day. I'm a photographer and most of my shoots are in the afternoons or early evening. I can do outings in the morning and afternoon to satisfy all of the physical demands of the doggos! I hit the trails almost every day so I can take them with me for a run/walk :) I also have access to 40 acres of wooded hills that I can take the pups too! The safety of your pet is #1! I am a former vet tech and have a great knowledge of dog care and health. I can administer medications- no problem! If am coming to let your pet out of your house, I can walk in the neighborhood or have a play session in the yard. If your pet is at my home, I have a big, fully fenced yard and I live right across from East Lake Winona, the dog friendly lake :) I am very aware of every situation I take your dog into and can address needs or concerns ASAP. I treat every dog I watch as one of my own :)
About: HELLO! I have been taking care of all kinds of dogs from pups to senior pets who have special needs. I have done stuff like this ever since I was in middle school. I am very flexible with my time. I do have a cat allergy but that won’t stop me from that either! I’m always here to help you’re best friend 😊 Im very flexible with my schedule for a couple months! I can do early mornings to late nights. I’m always able to help with anything! I’m very detail oriented and need straightforward instructions in order to properly care for a pet. The more straightforward the instructions the better! I treat any pet as if they were my own. Maybe a chance to spoil with my special frozen pet friendly watermelon slush for the hot summer days? Or a little trip to get a pup cup? My dogs are spoiled and I miss them so much so this would be a win-win for the both of us 🤣

Their four acres of land and stream are a definite amenity to an active dog's lifestyle. About: I have always been an avid animal-lover. From childhood into adulthood, I have owned and cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, birds & fish. My family & I currently share our home with two dogs, a bearded dragon, a Russian tortoise, & a ball python. I have several years of professional work experience in animal care (zoo, kennel care, walking, basic grooming) and wildlife / parks & recreation—both of which are relevant. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping all of our furry (& scaly) friends happy. I will board dogs, small mammals, reptiles & birds in my home! Upon request, I can do drop-in visits for cats or exotic animals within a 15 mile radius. I am currently a stay-at-home mom & so my schedule allows me to be at home majority of the time. If I need to leave the house, it’s never for more than a couple of hours. I have a large four-story home, which provides amble space for pets to play or to be separated if need be. I utilize crates for dogs who need or prefer it. Our yard is unfenced, so I use slip leads and tie-out cables for potty time.

About: Hi ! As I am home for summer , I would love to be able to watch any animals , any size is okay ! I have grown up with large dogs most of my life but I am okay with any size and age. I am a college student athlete at Winona State University going into my Junior year next semester! I am also a nanny in the summers so I am very flexible when it comes to times or days ! I am also a nanny in the summer which means I have can have very flexible hours ! I am also very active, walks, runs etc. I have a fenced in yard and a pool !
