There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. “I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. Up until this year I had 3 of the most perfect dogs but sadly they have passed away at ages 14, 15 and 16. About: I specialize in large dog breeds as I have 1 Pyrenees and 1 golden retriever myself. They are both very well trained and certified ESA’s. I’ve owned a cat for over half my life and have always taken care of her myself. When I was younger I also helped care for calves and cows, although I’m not sure if that experience will apply here. I have some experience administering medication (pills, eye lubricants and oral syringes) to dogs and cats as well! About: Hello, my name is Aiden and in 23. I have always enjoyed caring for all kinds of animals, being their comfort, as well as building loving connection. I have looked after family/friend's pets in the past. I also have experience with all types of temperaments, anxious, shy, behavioral, no problem!! I can’t remember a single time in my life where I haven’t had a furry companion by my side! I can handle any dog or cat, big or small, high energy, low energy, shy/timid, behavioral, easy going, etc. I never stop learning things about animals so you can be rest assured knowing a reliable person is looking after your pets, & treating them as if they are my own! I’m available all day on the weekends for walks, house sitting or check ins. On weekdays I’m available on Tuesdays after 1pm, all day Wednesdays & am available on Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays after 6:30pm:) I strive to ensure the safest & most comfortable environment possible. Whatever it is your pet may need in order to feel safe & comfortable I will do! On walks your dog will always be kept on their leash to ensure their safety, as well as the safety of any other animals or humans we encounter while out & about. While in your home your pet will never be left unattended, & will never be bored because I will provide as much stimulation for them as possible.
About: Every dog or cat has their own personality, quirks, and needs. I've had pets my entire life and people say I'm a dog whisperer. I'm not really...I just understand what motivates them (treats, love, or praise) and I work with that. My dogs and cats were always like family, and I treat other people's pets like family. I worry about mine when I'm away, so I want people to know that I understand those feelings and that their pets are in good hands. I've also had rodents and reptiles, so I can watch after them too. I do this work simply because I love animals and exercise, so this is perfect. Socialization with new people and reinforcing training material (like basic commands) is mentally beneficial for pets too. Lastly, I'm a retired government employee, so I've had quite the variety of background checks - you will find me honest, reliable and committed. Since I am retired, I can accept drop-in's or walks throughout out the day. Last minute or same day requests are a real possibility depending on when you contact me. I'm quite flexible. I'm not boarding at this time. As far as caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your instructions implicitly. When I have others take care of my own dog and they don't follow my requests, it drives me nuts!

“Christina, was very accommodating when we had an emergency family funeral to attend. The initial planned day was for a meet & greet but we needed emergency care for Willow & thankfully she had room. She's very good with dogs and we had talked with a couple other people coicindentally who also had their dogs kept by Christina with positive things to say. There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. About: I have over 7 years experience supervising at dog daycares and boarding facilities in Orlando, the Twin Cities and Duluth. I was also an Animal Care Officer for the city of Minneapolis where I took care of pets of all kinds. I would love to spend time with your dog(s)! I work from home so I have lots of time to take care of and spend time with your pup(s). We enjoy spending time outdoors with our dog and going on daily walks. We have a fenced yard along with two friendly dogs, a 2 year old Golden Retriever and a Heinz 57, 25lb bundle of joy. We also have a family cat who isn’t bothered by dogs. Our dog is crate trained for nights but can be either free or crated when we are away, depending on your preference.

“I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants their dog to have a great adventure!!”

He was great with photos and communication showing that my girl was well cared for, she was even cuddled up on the couch in blankies which is her favorite. He also went out for a few walks in the below zero weather to make sure she did her business, because she isn't used to a fenced in yard. My Sadie was there with another beagle and he made sure that my dog who is free fed, could get time to eat, where the other dog was on a scheduled feeding time. Hoping I can use him again in the future.”
