“We recently moved to the area from out of state and needed to find care for our dogs when we travel. We have gone the boarding at the kennel route in the past and have found it to be extremely stressful for them. They come home sleep deprived and smelly! We have also gone the route of pet sitters who drop in, but then this requires the dogs to be alone in the house in their kennels most of the time. We hadn't really considered leaving them in someone's home until I came across Sara's profile and had a visit with her. She was a fantastic listener and took plenty of time to give me the tour and to learn more about our pets. We just used her services for the first time over the weekend and when we picked the dogs up, they were happy, calm and clean. :-). One of our dogs is a senior dog on medication and overall just a little more needy and clingy and this was not a problem for Sara at all. About: Since day one, I have always had a dog in my life. A cat in my adult years and a few other critters throughout the years. They are all family! All my dogs have always been a big part of my life and I care for them deeply. Family/Friends have trusted me to care for their pets when needed. I am always happy to lend a helping hand, or a lap to cuddle on, an arm to throw a ball, or even lacing up those tennis shoes for a walk. I currently have a “teenager” (6 year American Staffordshire Terrier… major cuddles, playful, very sensitive stomach) and recently our senior Luna past over the rainbow bridge. I am patient and have energy for any requirement you may need while your babies are in my care. Working from home, I am quite flexible most days. I am an early riser and stay up late. So feedings, playtime, bathroom breaks, etc is not an issue for me. We have 5 acres of unfenced land to run around in. I also have a very large fenced Garden the dogs are allowed to roam in for off leash fun, as well as a sizeable wrap around deck to chill on and soak up the sun. We are outdoor people, so are our dog(s), so if it’s nice, you will find us out and about. With our training they do well to stay within our property and listen well if running around the yard. Communicate if your dog(s) need to be leashed (also have a leash line setup between trees to enjoy the outdoors as well). I would hope in any environment that your pets are trained and do well in the space provided or within, please communicate any special concerns, etc. I do have experience with “shock” collars for more so the ‘tone’ button, as we have wildlife and woods surrounding our house, we use this to protect our dogs from our surroundings periodically throughout the year. So I am comfortable using this method to ensure your pups stay safe.

We are an active household that enjoys many days outside, but also equally loves cuddling up on the couch for a movie night. At night, your pet is welcome to sleep wherever they find it most comfortable. We have had personal pet ownership experience with blindness, deafness, and separation anxiety in dogs. In addition to our own pets, we have also opened our home to foster dogs for several years, specializing and dog reactive dogs, as well as hospice/end of life care. With my career and volunteer dog hospice foster experience, I am comfortable and knowledgeable in administering any oral, subcutaneous, and IM medications. - We provide care to one outside family at a time to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone. I do allow exemptions for multifamily households. - Your pet will have an adult with them for at least 20/24 hours per day. Most updates are sent with morning breakfast, midafternoon rest, and before bedtime. You are also encouraged and welcome to reach out anytime outside of that. - If your pet does require a crate at any point, please ensure one accompanies them to drop off. We are a home-based boarding experience and do not have commercial kennel runs. - If your pet has been excused/banned from a commercial boarding facility, I do require a no-cost meet and greet for introductions before confirming the booking. It is my priority to ensure your pet feels safe, and I am confident in their needs before confirming commitment. - Privately insured for household companionship pets, which covers both care during boarding and any agreed-upon transportation. Keywords: home-based, medical needs, special needs, reactive, medication administration. I am generally available to accept same-day bookings as someone who works from home. At this time, my employer allows me to set my own hours, meaning I can easily adapt to your pet's schedule and any medical needs. Bathroom breaks are averaged at every two hours and anytime outside of this at your pup's request. If your pet prefers to spend afternoons in the sun, then that is where I am happy to work that day! Any pets boarded in our home can expect to have a human home a minimum of 20 out of the 24 hours in a day. We welcome your pets to rest and sleep wherever they are most comfortable- couch, pet bed, human bed, etc. If you request or your pet requires kenneling at any time, please ensure a kennel accompanies them to drop off. Our home is carpet-free (stress-free!), and we understand accidents happen. Please inform me if your pet is working on potty training, and we can reduce the number of rooms initially accessible. Our acreage is unfenced, and dogs have access to the backyard of the property. If your dog is not off-leash trained, we provide a pulley tie-out to allow them a greater range of access. If you are most comfortable with leash walking, that is also just fine with us!

About: Hi! I’m a middle school teacher, mom to 4 busy kids, and dog mom to ‘Jersey’ our mixed rescue. My house is a welcoming home away from home for your pup. Now that my kids are a bit older, I have a lot of time to give to your pup in the summer and would treat them like my own. I LOVE getting outdoors and walking as much as my legs can allow. Summer break allows for our family of six to enjoy the neighborhood. I have the flexibility to be home daily. Although my children are in multiple activities, I am always close to home. I will be out and about quite often driving kids to different places, but are never gone for more than a few hours. I am able to leave and take your pup for a quick walk multiple times a day, or welcome them into our house over the course of a couple days. Our dog has her base camp on our upper level den, but we have a safe and separate area for your pet in our lower level that will be all theirs! I will walk multiple times daily and care for your pet as my own. My family has lots of love and cuddles to give if needed, but if your pup is more of a recluse, they can adjust accordingly!

About: Hello, I grew up on a farm and have lived with animals all of my life. I have cared for kittens, puppies, goats, cattle and chickens. I grew up with Aussies and am currently very active with our dog, Rylee - although I am a cat person at heart. I would consider myself an animal person through and through. My significant other also has a huge heart for animals. Our three pets are the center of most of what we do. I work in office Monday to Thursday each week. I am off each Friday and am available most weekends. My significant other, Brandon, is my partner in this and he work from home all week. About: Hi my name is Paige. I am outgoing and active a great combination to take care of your loving family dog. I love animals, I used to have 16 pets a variety of them but two included a dog. I have taken care of a couple dogs with walking and watching them while the family was away. i took a lot of classes at school and have learned new things about dogs and other animals. My availabilty is Weekdays, and weekends but I have breaks inbetween jobs and going home where I could make a quick run to your house to feed or take your dog for a walk. I hope to hear from you soon, and I can’t wait to play with your family pet. I currently have a full time job, but I can do drop ins and be able to come to your place before and after work. If needed your pet can come with me in the car if you’re comfortable. I currently have three cats, my cats are good with other animals but just would still keep your pet comfortable and have their own place. About: I can provide a safe quiet home for your pet to visit when you’re away. I work from home and spend the days with our almost 8 year old boxer mix, Aggie. We love taking walks to the park near our home and we have a small fenced in back yard with a privacy fence. Aggie gets along with almost every dog and will sometimes play. She can be pretty vocal when she plays but is otherwise super quiet. She’s a great role model for younger dogs :) I work from home so I am usually home with the pets for most of the day. We take daily walks when the weather is good. We have a large dog crate if your dog needs. Our yard is fenced in and dogs wouldn’t usually be home alone for more than a few hours.

“We recently moved to the area from out of state and needed to find care for our dogs when we travel. We have gone the boarding at the kennel route in the past and have found it to be extremely stressful for them. They come home sleep deprived and smelly! We have also gone the route of pet sitters who drop in, but then this requires the dogs to be alone in the house in their kennels most of the time. We hadn't really considered leaving them in someone's home until I came across Sara's profile and had a visit with her. She was a fantastic listener and took plenty of time to give me the tour and to learn more about our pets. We just used her services for the first time over the weekend and when we picked the dogs up, they were happy, calm and clean. :-). One of our dogs is a senior dog on medication and overall just a little more needy and clingy and this was not a problem for Sara at all. She is super experienced and our dogs were at ease the first time they met her. She has two older dogs of her own who are absolute sweeties. About: There is no one like the Nystrom’s, just ask your dog! Our family has multiple experienced caretaker to keep tabs of your furry friends at all times of the day. With permission we will bake dog treats, spoil, and love your pets unconditionally! As we have pets of our own, we can easily and happily incorporate your pets into our daily routine. There is typically someone at home all of the time! We have a room dedicated to dogs in our home including food, water, toys, bedding, and grooming supplies. Our home has a fenced in yard and is away from neighbors. We are ready to accommodate to your needs!
