I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. About: I have a special interest in senior dogs. I have a 17 year old dachshund mix and a 12 year old dachshund. I have adopted hospice dogs and have been a hospice foster. I have experience as a dog foster for rescues in the Twin Cities and am also a volunteer at Animal Humane Society. I work from home and am here most of the time. No problem administering meds, including injections. I work full time from home, so I am almost always here to tend to the dogs. Caring for my own two dogs is an important part of my life and I make sure I’m always meeting their needs. I have two children who live with me 50% of the time. They are 9 and 4 and have lived with small, senior dogs their entire lives. They are very respectful of dogs and I never leave the kids with the dogs unsupervised. About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life. Experience training my own puppy. CPR and medication administration. Gentle and patient with all animals, I build trust first, then a relationship on their schedule. I work a split shift (6-9:45 and 1:15-4:45). I am able to be home (mine or yours) during my break and the rest of the day. My time outside the home usually involves dog parks and dog walks with my own pup. In my home I allow visitors to acclimate on their own schedule and according to their comfort. I have a very sweet and social 2 year old dog who loves join me and meet other pups. I introduce the pups in a safe environment and where they are both comfortable, always monitoring for safety and if either needs a break. Your fur baby will get whatever it needs to be happy and safe, whether that is leashed for potty breaks, kenneled if that is your preference, around the clock supervision, etc.
