“I gave Tyler 5 stars, for a couple of reasons: he was easy to work with as I set up a 10-day boarding for two dogs, a 3-year-old and a 9-year-old. That's a long stretch, I realize. And the dogs initially seemed fine when we picked them up. I did find it curious, however, that the dog food I left had barely been used. And he had lost a package of glucosamine-chondroitin I'd left for the 9-year-old. After my first take that the dogs looked okay and were happy to see me, I realized how thin the 9-year-old had become: bony back and hips. She had lost quite a bit of weight, 10 pounds? These are goldens. After eating one meal the 9-year-old stopped eating for two days, until I found a food she couldn't resist. Is this on Tyler? All I can say is I wonder, and we would likely not use him again. We never did see inside his house, which is very nice on the outside, by the way, with a nice yard, so it's hard to know how he handles boarding. He did not know the older dog's name when we picked them up. My take is he handled the business end very competently, but I'm not sure how diligent he was in taking care of the dogs. The 3-year-old came home fine.”

About: I have always had a passion and love for animals ever since I was little. I have experience caring for many different animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, rats, ferrets, birds, lizards, frogs, and fish. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter and even ran a summer camp there about animal health and safety for children. I have experience in administering medications and topical treatments in different animals. I also have experience in dogs with anxiety. Leaving your pet in someone's care can be nerve racking, but I understand that your pet is family. I have a 15 Ib Havapoo male (neutered) dog that will keep your furry friend company. I work throughout the week but I am home all day Saturday and Sunday to watch your furry friends. I am also available weekday mornings until around noon so I can make accomodations if needed. I have a large fenced in yard for your dog to run around in. Please be aware that the fence is 2.6 ft tall (about waist height). The height isn't a problem for smaller dogs. My dog is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in my bed with me at night.

We are currently pet-less, non-smoking, clean home, looking to love a dog for the weekend or during the summer when we are off. We are also an active family, so if you need your dog walked, we can do it! We will keep a close eye on your pup. Our kids are super gentle and are the sweetest kids. Your dog will be our priority if they are here! We want you and your pet to feel at home. We have been dog lovers all of our lives and we used Rover with our last dog and know you want a trusting home - we get it! We don't currently have any other animals and will only take 1 dog at a time (unless from the same family).

About: I work from home. I have a small backyard and a park nearby with a walking path. I have 3 children who are good around pets. We have one dog of our own who is a 70lb, 12 year old female. My experience comes from my own pets and checking on friend’s pets while they are away. I am available in the mornings before work, can be flexible about lunch and breaks to leave and check on pets and end my work day at 5 (Mon-Fri). If I go into work, it is often on a Wednesday and my parents come check on my dog while I am away for the day. My home: I have a fenced yard, 1 older dog, and gates in the house to keep the dogs on the main floor. I do not have a crate or dog toys. My dog prefers long walks, scratches and a good nap. My dog is a large poodle breed.
“Incredibly accommodating, as Mayo was not. David worked around our ever changing and opaque interactions with Mayo. The care was so attentive I am not sure our pooch was ready to leave. We have never boarded our (abused) rescue dog and David’s care made this part of our Rochester experience absolutely calming and care free. About: Relocated here from Iowa. Enjoy working with different dogs. Pet lover. I completed 6 months of Veterinarian Assistant classes online. Life happened and I had to take a pause. But I am thinking about going back and finish obtaining my associates degree in the field. So whether it be house sitting with the animals or simply doing some walking or activities, I don't mind and will enjoy my time with them. Its something I enjoy as one of my hobbies. I am available during the week days. Every other weekend I work night shift at this time. I enjoy play time with pets because they too have different personalities. Love Dogs. We cuddle mostly and play. Take walks outside. Play fetch with their toys. It's cool to go to the backyard and be socialable with nature. I think it helps with sensory awareness.
About: I have been around animals and dogs my whole life. I recently lost my 17 yr old baby girl and I miss the companionship but not quite ready for a new pup! I am responding and will make sure your baby gets top notch care! I work real close to home so I am able to pop by when I have a break and check in on the babies! I am usually home every night. About: I require any visiting pets to be vaccinated and on flea preventitive! I have trained many kinds of dogs for many different things! I have a service dog that I trained Bella! I also have a cat that is trained to sit, spin, and jump! I have experience with diabetic animals and with most animals in general! I am educated on animal CPR and heimlich. I'm happiest when I'm spending time with 6 dogs at a time lol it's so much fun! I don't have space to take more than one large dog or 2 small dogs at a time but someday I will!
