About: I have been walking dogs for 3 years. The dog I currently walk is a Golden Retriever with a lot of energy! I have also walked other large dogs as well as small dogs. I currently walk a dog every morning Monday through Friday, and 2 small dogs as needed. We enjoy going for walks and to the dog park if requested. We have gone on car rides to different parks for walks as well as walking in the neighborhood. I love the time I get to spend with the dogs. Dog walking is what I do. Every day Monday through Friday I walk a Golden Retriever. After that I am open to taking on more walking or drop in visits. When going to clients homes I am always careful to be sure to lock up the home after our walk. I check to be sure that there is adequate water. I am respectful of others private space and leave things as I find them. I give treats if requested. On hot days we can keep walks shorter if requested. I will also brush your dog if you request this.

I do many things to ensure your pets safelty, for example, when I'm taking your pet out to the bathroom, I always make sure that I can see them at all times; if you have a fence, that it is shut and locked; or, if you have some kind of tie-out for them, that they are securely attached. The same goes for when we are walking; I always double-check that the leash is secured to their harness/collar.

“Alex was great with my nervous guy. We’ve boarded him in the past and he always seemed to be anxious and have trouble eating. He settled in quickly with Alex. I think being in a home environment was more like his everyday routine.”

Our one dog is a very anxious dog and she usually doesn’t do good with boarding and when she comes back she’s a wreck but she came home perfectly normal and the dogs loved it there. Candace and her husband were so kind and treated them like their own. I have our next stay already booked for them.”
