Sam is my cautious boy who thinks he’s invisible if he closes his eyes when he tries to steal something, and Cass is my fat man who has a lot to say. I have given medications in both pill and liquid format and am very familiar with topical meds like flea and tick preventative. I also help with my sister’s elderly cat (20 years old!) in giving him his insulin. I even have experience giving subcutaneous IV treatments to cats. About: Hi! My name is Allie and I've spent most of my life loving and caring for pets in multiple different environments over the years. I grew up with a bushel of miniature schnauzers, a few rodents and a snake. In college I took in a feral barn kitten and made her the talk of the university! After college, I spent 5-6 years working in a dog daycare facility which gave me experience with all different breeds and an immense amount of knowledge on behavior. I currently have three amazing pups, they are 11, 5 and 2 years old (miniature pincher and two german shepherds), they have been through training school and are very obedient. My husband and I live alone with our two sons who love dogs. I started sitting through Rover when I was laid off from the tech company I worked for about a few years ago and I absolutely loved it. I am now available for walks and drop ins, 12pm -2pm and 3pm- 12am. I'm glad to answer any questions you have. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! ( I am allergic to certain bulldogs, pit bulls, whippets and greyhounds) I am available from 12-2pm and 3pm - 12am Monday through Friday with the exception of Thursday afternoons which I’d be available from 5pm and onwards. I may occasionally bring my sons, they have grown up around dogs and are very respectful. Update: I am currently only available for walks and drop ins. My yard is fully fenced. Hank is kenneled if I leave the house. I also have two larger kennels and can accommodate kennel trained pups. My dogs will always be kenneled if I leave the house. For sleeping I usually follow what the client prefers but at no time would your dog be left unsupervised with mine. If your dog likes to sleep on the couch at night I will kennel my dogs. We are knowledgeable and aware of foods dogs should and shouldn’t have.
About: I’ve always loved animals and have spent years caring for dogs both personally and professionally. I have my own dog and am very comfortable handling all the day to day responsibilities that come with pet care, from walks and playtime to feeding, medications, and overnight stays. Over the years I’ve also cared for many other pets through walks, drop in visits, and house sitting. I currently have multiple long term clients that I’ve worked with for over two years, and I take a lot of pride in being someone both pets and their owners can trust and rely on. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I work part time and have a very flexible schedule, so pet care fits into my day pretty naturally. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop ins, and overnight care, and I don’t mind adjusting my schedule to make sure pets get the attention and consistency they need. I’m very attentive and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so they get a lot of love and attention while they’re in my care. I like to make sure we can get out all their energy during the day to help relieve any anxiety they have without their family and feel safe with me! I know every pet and owner has different preferences, and I’m happy to adapt to whatever works best for you.
