In addition to our own pets, we have also opened our home to foster dogs for several years, specializing and dog reactive dogs, as well as hospice/end of life care. My career consists of over a decade of hospital-based pharmacy experience, and I am now fortunate to currently work from home. With my career and volunteer dog hospice foster experience, I am comfortable and knowledgeable in administering any oral, subcutaneous, and IM medications. - We provide care to one outside family at a time to ensure a stress-free experience for everyone. I do allow exemptions for multifamily households. - Your pet will have an adult with them for at least 20/24 hours per day. Most updates are sent with morning breakfast, midafternoon rest, and before bedtime. You are also encouraged and welcome to reach out anytime outside of that. - If your pet does require a crate at any point, please ensure one accompanies them to drop off. We are a home-based boarding experience and do not have commercial kennel runs. - If your pet has been excused/banned from a commercial boarding facility, I do require a no-cost meet and greet for introductions before confirming the booking. It is my priority to ensure your pet feels safe, and I am confident in their needs before confirming commitment. - Privately insured for household companionship pets, which covers both care during boarding and any agreed-upon transportation. Keywords: home-based, medical needs, special needs, reactive, medication administration. I am generally available to accept same-day bookings as someone who works from home. At this time, my employer allows me to set my own hours, meaning I can easily adapt to your pet's schedule and any medical needs. Bathroom breaks are averaged at every two hours and anytime outside of this at your pup's request. If your pet prefers to spend afternoons in the sun, then that is where I am happy to work that day! Any pets boarded in our home can expect to have a human home a minimum of 20 out of the 24 hours in a day. We welcome your pets to rest and sleep wherever they are most comfortable- couch, pet bed, human bed, etc. If you request or your pet requires kenneling at any time, please ensure a kennel accompanies them to drop off. Our home is carpet-free (stress-free!), and we understand accidents happen. Please inform me if your pet is working on potty training, and we can reduce the number of rooms initially accessible. Our acreage is unfenced, and dogs have access to the backyard of the property. If your dog is not off-leash trained, we provide a pulley tie-out to allow them a greater range of access. If you are most comfortable with leash walking, that is also just fine with us!

I’m free 2pm and onwards during the summer months for drop-ins and dog walking services. I also stop by prior to my 6am start time for work to do drop-in visits as well. Please don’t be afraid to reach out for anything at all! •I always allow meet-and-greets for a quick 10 minute appointment (free) prior to any drop-ins or walking services so that I’m no stranger to you or your pet before I stop by for the first service. This also allows us to establish what needs your pet may have and your expectations for me. These aren’t mandatory to be able to book with me, just solely a comfort thing! •I remember the way pet items were stored in your home and return them back to the way they were after I’m done using them. •I always message you and ask for permission prior to entering any other part of the house that’s not necessary to the service. This rarely happens, but for example: a dog I came to walk was sleeping in the master bedroom so I messaged the owner first prior to retrieving him for our walk😂

About: I absolutely love dogs and treat every pet like family. I’ve been around dogs my entire life — growing up with them and always having them as part of my family. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience and attention. I have personally raised two puppies (including one currently) and helped care for several others, so I understand the consistency, training, and care young dogs need. I also had my own dog live to 15 years old, which gave me experience caring for a dog through every stage of life, including senior care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I will make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your pup loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or just companionship, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention and consistent care. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, which allows me to provide care throughout the day and stop by in the morning, during lunch, and at night as needed. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, I am available for morning and evening visits/check-ins. When I’m in town on weekends, my schedule is very flexible, so I’m often available for additional visits, walks, or extended care. Because of my schedule, I’m able to provide reliable care, maintain routines, and make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, fresh water, meals on schedule, and of course lots of affection and playtime. I understand that every dog has different needs and personalities, so I adjust my care based on their energy level, age, and routine. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable providing patient and attentive care for all stages of life. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have hosted over 30 foster dogs for our local Humane Society. Some of our foster mamas have even given birth to their puppies at our home. I currently have a wonderful golden retriever, Mya, who is always happy to meet new friends. Mya and I enjoy hiking, camping, and spending as much time outside as possible. I have a horse (not on the property) and have had a variety of pets over the years including rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, chickens and sheep. I can easily crate your pet if needed. We are located on a quiet street with a culdesac, perfect for safe walks. We have 2 acres for your babies to play. About: Growing up, my parents frequently relied on me to take care of our rat terriers while they were at work - this includes feeding them, taking them out for potty breaks before/ after school, playing with them, etc. Because I’ve been around rat terriers I’m very familiarized with their personalities and high energy levels. I also have experience walking pitbulls and Great Pyrenees breeds, as my boyfriends parents used to own both breeds and I would walk them frequently (: - I also have experience with giving medications to dogs; one of my rat terriers has bad seasonal allergies and receives medication (a liquid) daily with his dinner. Another one of my rat terriers suffered from seizures and would have to receive medication with her food as well. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and needs. I understand the importance of maintaining consistent routines and ensuring pets feel safe and cared for. I’m currently working a full time job, however I don’t start work until 2:45pm everyday (off days are Fridays and Saturdays). When I work Sunday-Thursday I’m available to drop in at least one early morning, I can do another drop in in the early afternoon, and another drop in when I get off if needed (I get off at 11pm). On my days off - Friday and Saturdays - I can do numerous drop ins throughout the day. Anytime between early morning to late night. I have two cats of my own. Both are tabby cats, but they have very different personalities. Bean, who is an orange long haired cat, is very skittish, loves to play, enjoys pets but hates being picked up. While Franklin, is a grey short hair, loves cuddles, being next to his people, and would rather play with Bean than his humans. We got Franklin when he was 8 weeks old from my boyfriend’s brother and we fostered then adopted Bean when he was 12 weeks old (about 6 months after getting Franklin). We discovered Franklin loves going outside, so we bought him a cat harness and leash and frequently take him on walks (: Bean is too skittish for this, but he loves to play inside with toy mice and springs (ESPECIALLY springs, those are his favorite 😅)
About: I have been surrounded by dogs almost my entire life. I love the unconditional love they give. I enjoy spending time outside but also can relax inside. Whatever suits your dog best. I’ve dealt with crazy hyper dogs (like my own) and also the dogs that rather relax alone. Each holds a special place in my heart. I currently work full time. I don’t work Mondays so I would be perfect for a long weekend. I work longer days so I am open to being available for any dog but I leave home early in the morning and I return in the evening. Weekends allow for the most availability for me (with the addition of Mondays) I love to be outside so keeping an eye on any dog while letting them outside will not be an issue. I can leash them if preferred. The dog will be in the comfort on their own house!!
About: I currently work at a dog boarding facility for over three years providing high quality care for all different kinds of pups and their needs! My schedule does vary but I am always open to being flexible and make something work for your requested booking! I typically work almost everyday but sometimes have a random day off therefore I am open to any pet sitting but may have to be gone for a portion to go to work (typically a 7 hour shift). I also had an old pup myself who was spoiled with belly rubs and treats but unfortunately passed due to old age! I have taken care of my parents senior dog who had a horrible heart murmur and needed constant attention. Working with animals is my absolute and favorite thing to do. If a senior dog needs medications, constant reassurance and has to be calm I am more than willing to care for them. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I grew up on a large animal farm where we had bison for 20 years. I went to college at msu Mankato for animal science. In 2016 I started working at a boarding kennel and ever since I have found my life passion of working with dogs and cats. I have 4 dogs of my own on a hobby farm. I have two springer spaniels, my rescue dog that is a chow pit bull, and recently got a golden retriever puppy. I have also been grooming dogs professionally since 2018. I know how to do anal glands, haircuts, nail trimming and buffing, ear cleaning, meds, baths, basically the whole works! I am currently available pretty much everyday for drop ins, walks, feeding, meds, and to give love to your fur babies! Even last minute I’m available I offer drop in at your house, I can do over nights if needed, I also can pets to appointments if needed. I do have experience with aggressive dogs as well. About: I've had two cats for 10 years. I also took care of a black lab while his owner was at work. I played ball, potty breaks, cuddles & plenty of love. Also pet sit for friends while they were on vacation for a week, cats. I'm currently unemployed at this time and occassionaly volunteer or attend events, mostly for a week or two, out of town.
