“My husband and I left our 3 dogs with Melissa for 4 days and she took great care of them! Our dogs had never stayed with a sitter before, so I was nervous to leave them, but she made the transition easy and they were more than comfortable at her home. One of our dogs is very anxious and tends to be fearful of new people, and even she settled in well and seemed content during her stay. Melissa also did a wonderful job caring for our senior dog and keeping up with her medication schedule, as well as handling our youngest dog who is still learning his manners. She kept us updated throughout the trip with daily photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.
About: I occasionally care for my brothers cat while he is out of town, and my friends have relied on me to care for their sweet cats when they couldn’t. I like to make sure the litter box(es) are clean at-least three times a week, make sure the house is clean, and the cat gets the best treatment with consistently full bowls!

I have a job where I work Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. All 12 hour days. So, I would be completely booked up on those days. The other days I would be incredibly happy to spend time with your little loved one! I would make sure to have clear and open conversations with you about your animals throughout the day/night. I can give updates on when they go to the bathroom. I can, also, send pictures of them.
About: We always had dogs growing up, mostly big boys, but I do love any sized dog! I had so many dogs grow to elderly age that I’m well experienced with all stages of animal life. I have no official training but I have trained plenty of our own dogs growing up. Let me help you feel stress free while someone watches your babies! I work a 8-5 job so and have some flexibility when it comes to your pets needs! Whatever time or day you need, I just need a brief heads up and I can assist in taking care of your pet! I’m a firm believer of leaving a space better than you left it. While I can’t offer services in my own home (I have two cats who came from an unfortunate situation and don’t play well with others unfortunately) but I will make it seem like the only trace of me in your space is your pet being well taken care of!

“Paige and her family were AMAZING!!! Gracie (my pup) and i did a meet and greet prior to booking and from that moment i knew she was going to be in great hands. Paige sent adorable pics everyday and went above and beyond by with all the love and playtime, even added an egg to Gracie’s supper (something i mentioned i do at home but to keep things simple for Paige, i didn’t bring any). Upon pick up, Gracie was excited to see me but not over anxious to leave, this told me she was in amazing, loving hands all weekend. ❤️”

Her home is the perfect set up for Harley with a fenced in back yard to play and to keep her safe. In the past, Harley is known for ignoring us for awhile whenever we get home from trips, but not this time, so we know she was well taken care of and loved. We will use Anna again and again. “My husband and I left our 3 dogs with Melissa for 4 days and she took great care of them! Our dogs had never stayed with a sitter before, so I was nervous to leave them, but she made the transition easy and they were more than comfortable at her home. One of our dogs is very anxious and tends to be fearful of new people, and even she settled in well and seemed content during her stay. Melissa also did a wonderful job caring for our senior dog and keeping up with her medication schedule, as well as handling our youngest dog who is still learning his manners. She kept us updated throughout the trip with daily photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that our dogs were being well cared for and getting plenty of attention. We came home to three happy pups and would absolutely book with Melissa again. Highly recommend!”
