I’ve had more experience volunteering with young puppies, and the moms after their having their litter (our resident dog is our foster fail that I fell in love with after she had her puppies). I’m currently a full time night nurse at the VA in Fargo but live in Barnesville. I can assist with pet care as needed, I’m pretty flexible with my schedule. Before that my family had dogs and cats growing up. I also consistently foster animals through one of the organizations in town. All dogs on my profile are dogs I either owned, fostered, or babysat. I love to spend as much time with the dogs I am sitting! If it’s the weekend only this is easy to do - If your dog would like a friend my Rottie would like to come with! If not no worries at all! For weekdays: I work from home and can make moving to your home work but will need a desk space or active table space with the ability to plug in - and preferably the ability to bring my 4 year old friendly Rottie with me. If I am unable to bring her what I have done in the past is work from my home and then spend the evening/night with your dog. I always make a lunch break work for this plan. I’ve trained my own dogs through three levels of obedience and raised five of them from the time they were 8 weeks old and took care of them through their elderly years including in pup wheel chairs. “My partner and I were driving across the country with our 50lb Samoyed, Jack, to relocate to our new home. On our trip, we decided to stop through Fargo where my family is from and take in NDSU football game — Go Bisons! We needed someone to watch Jack for the few hours we were at the game, and Taylor readily accepted our last minute (day before) request. Jack is a calm, friendly dog who seems to have been experiencing some anxiety on the long drive and is not consistently eating or pooping. We were a little nervous leaving him with new people in a new place when he was already on edge. However, Taylor and her family seemed to put him at ease immediately. Taylor kept us updated with pictures and milestones, and when we picked him up he had eaten all of his food, pooped, and played a bunch outside. He seemed happy, calm, and well cared for. About: I went to school to be a vet tech. I can administer any medications you may need. I specialize in the care of elderly pets and their unique needs. Animals are better than people. My schedule is open for weekdays or weekends, night or day. Getting to know a pet and learning their personality and preferences is important to me, I want us both to have a good time! I'm currently work part-time and I'm a student, taking most of my classes online so I can be flexible! Mondays and Wednesdays I'm pretty busy in the morning, but I'm usually free by 2-3pm. I have two cats that are very well-socialized with other cats and small to medium sized dogs. Sometimes I put up a gate and allow the cats to sun themselves on the deck, which they love! About: I’ve had pets my whole life, including cats, dogs, bunnies, and fish, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I currently have two dogs of my own—a German Wirehair and a Chocolate Lab—so I understand the love, attention, and exercise dogs need. As a full-time Doctor of Pharmacy student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend my free time doing what I love—caring for pets! I offer walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I will always treat your home with respect and leave it cleaner than I found it. When going for walks we will stay in safe familiar areas.

About: From 8 weeks old to senior pups, I’ve seen it all! Whether it’s basic canine knowledge, walking, bathing, medication administration, or pet snuggles, I’ve got you covered! I work full time M,W,Th,F (every Tuesday off) from 8:00am-5:00pm. With 2 dogs of my own (cavalier/shih tzu/bichon (17lb) and golden retriever (60+ pounds), we have a timely feeding and walking routine. Your pup will fit right in! With a two story house, patio, and open yard with a walking path nearby, the opportunities are endless for your pups needs to be met! Your pet can snuggle up on the furniture and/or bed or be crated if that is your preference.

About: I am an animal person!! I genuinely enjoy taking care of pets, I've always owned 2 or 3 of my own and took in strays. I have never met a pet that did not like me. I have experience with puppies as well as elderly dogs. I am an older woman now that works part time and all my children are grown. I do have some physical limitations but get around quite well. Since I work part time, I can be more flexible with my availability. For stays longer then week, we will have to discuss details. I have lived and worked in the area for over 30 years, I think I would be a great companion for your fury loved one while you are away!

“Taylor's care was simply fantastic. Her own dogs are so gentle and welcoming; you can see that Taylor and her husband are dog lovers. My dog craves exercise, so I was a little hesitant about how she would adjust to staying in an apartment, but I should never have worried! Taylor made sure she had lots of safe, outside, running time at the park! She sent us pictures and updates, and although Sydney was glad to see me, she was also stress-free and obviously well cared for. I recommend Taylor 100%.”
