About: I have always had a dog in my home for the past 20 years. I have been hired by many friends and families to watch and care for their pets, both cats and dogs. I also have extensive experience taking care of older dogs, as I cared for my childhood dog during the last year of her life. I also have lots of experience as an Animal Care Attendant. Taking care of all different ages, sizes, and energy levels of dogs! I am well versed in dogs with behavioral issues. Administering oral medications. As well as feeding. About: I specialize in large dog breeds as I have 1 Pyrenees and 1 golden retriever myself. They are both very well trained and certified ESA’s. I’ve owned a cat for over half my life and have always taken care of her myself. When I was younger I also helped care for calves and cows, although I’m not sure if that experience will apply here. About: Rover is my full time gig, so when I'm sitting pets I'm in the house 90% of the time. I may leave to go to the gym or to a family function, otherwise I'm hanging out with my new friends. About: Every dog or cat has their own personality, quirks, and needs. I've had pets my entire life and people say I'm a dog whisperer. I'm not really...I just understand what motivates them (treats, love, or praise) and I work with that. My dogs and cats were always like family, and I treat other people's pets like family. I worry about mine when I'm away, so I want people to know that I understand those feelings and that their pets are in good hands. I've also had rodents and reptiles, so I can watch after them too. I do this work simply because I love animals and exercise, so this is perfect. Socialization with new people and reinforcing training material (like basic commands) is mentally beneficial for pets too. Lastly, I'm a retired government employee, so I've had quite the variety of background checks - you will find me honest, reliable and committed. Since I am retired, I can accept drop-in's or walks throughout out the day. Last minute or same day requests are a real possibility depending on when you contact me. I'm quite flexible. I'm not boarding at this time. As far as caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your instructions implicitly. When I have others take care of my own dog and they don't follow my requests, it drives me nuts!

He was great with photos and communication showing that my girl was well cared for, she was even cuddled up on the couch in blankies which is her favorite. He also went out for a few walks in the below zero weather to make sure she did her business, because she isn't used to a fenced in yard. My Sadie was there with another beagle and he made sure that my dog who is free fed, could get time to eat, where the other dog was on a scheduled feeding time. Hoping I can use him again in the future.”

About: I have always had a dog in my home for the past 20 years. I have been hired by many friends and families to watch and care for their pets, both cats and dogs. I also have extensive experience taking care of older dogs, as I cared for my childhood dog during the last year of her life. I also have lots of experience as an Animal Care Attendant. Taking care of all different ages, sizes, and energy levels of dogs! I am well versed in dogs with behavioral issues. Administering oral medications. As well as feeding. I am a big dog lover and have two rescue dogs myself :) I am very flexible and open during the week days. I can also be available on some weekends with notice! I typically spend my mornings taking care of my pups and getting them out on a walk. The rest of the day I am free! I am very patent when it comes to animals. I love playing, walking, and cuddling (but only when they want to). I am very observant and make sure they aren't getting into things they shouldn't. Your pets health and safety is my number one priority!
About: I have over 7 years experience supervising at dog daycares and boarding facilities in Orlando, the Twin Cities and Duluth. I was also an Animal Care Officer for the city of Minneapolis where I took care of pets of all kinds. I would love to spend time with your dog(s)! I work from home so I have lots of time to take care of and spend time with your pup(s). We enjoy spending time outdoors with our dog and going on daily walks. We have a fenced yard along with two friendly dogs, a 2 year old Golden Retriever and a Heinz 57, 25lb bundle of joy. We also have a family cat who isn’t bothered by dogs. Our dog is crate trained for nights but can be either free or crated when we are away, depending on your preference.
