About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. As an adult I gave rescued and fostered all sizes and breeds. Dogs have filled my homes with love and joy and I look forward to sharing my large fenced back yard with a playful puppy or a well seasoned frisbee catcher I currently work three days a week, no more than 6 hours per day. I can visit twice daily, depending on location if a walk is needed. If I am pet sitting or boarding the pets will not be alone for more than 5 hours at a time. I have a large fenced yard with a 1/4 mile walking path just beyond the gate, backing up to Haliburton Park. About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. “Our dogs had a blast with Lisa- they had plenty of room to roam and were clearly given great attention and love during their stay, looking happy in the photo updates she sent and good and tired when we picked them up, ready to nap the whole way home. We will definitely reach out again when we’re in the area if needing a pet sitter!”
“Roxanne was an amazing caregiver for our lab with separation anxiety. She went above and beyond - took him on outings, sent updates, and made him part of the family for 5 days. Her dog was fantastic with him too. I’m not sure he was that excited to see us when we picked him up! 😂 We’ll definitely send him to “summer camp” at Roxanne’s if we’re in the area again.”
