About: I’ve had grown up with cats and have two of my own, one is 13 years old and one is 1 years old. I don’t mind scooping a litter box, clipping nails, giving medicine, or anything of the sorts. I have cat sit for older cats before and have experience with special feeding instructions as well as giving correct medicine dosage at specific times. I don’t mind playing with kittens or high energy cats (and definitely don’t mind feeding them treats😂)

About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

She let me handle all 9 of the babies after she was done delivering so we could transfer all them to a clean bed & to help rotate at feeding time to ensure they all ate. All 9 survived & were healthy!! I was also a "doula" for my mom's cats pregnancy & she let me massage her tummy & handle her babies right away also. It's a blessing to see & be a part of. About: Life long animal person, from a young age I took care of farm animals like chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, cats. In my adult life i got a dog. I love working and learning with my dog. A few years ago I started volunteering and fostering through the Berrien county animal services. I truly love fostering and the difference it makes! I plan to foster for a long time. I have strict boundaries on the quality of care I want to provide so I do not take on more than I feel comfortable with. providing a safe emotional environment for your pets is my top priority I have a big yard with a small portion fenced in. I utilize the fenced in area for play and hanging out with dogs. I love hanging out with the pets inside also, I have raised beds set out in the house for relaxing and plenty of couches the dogs are welcome to enjoy. I use crates and gates in the house for peace of mind and relaxation when I am out of the house.
