“My last pet sitter canceled last minute and everything went to crap as my cat pepper "drama king screaming demon" needs medicine for his stomach and anxiety in his old age. Sonny took my black fur ball of rage and distrust and made sure he had his medicine and space as pepper can be a bit "much" she gave lots of pictures and updates and was available within 2 days of booking which I desperately needed. She also worked with me as my family trip had gotten derailed when our car broke down and was willing to watch him for a bit longer as we figured out how to get home. She builds a great rapport and I can tell her own animals adore her and are VERY well socialized. Her kitten peaches ran up to me wanting to say hi and her dog ham was not aggressive in the least meeting me for the first time, he just wanted pats!”

About: We had a small dog when our children were out of high school and our world revolved around him. We miss him a lot since he crossed the rainbow bridge but I am lucky to be a grandma to 5 dogs—a Saint Bernard, a chihuahua mix, 2 terrier mixes and a German Shepherd mix. All rescue dogs with some quirky personality traits that make them a challenge and fun. I have also cared for my sister’s senior Maltese and a neighbor’s senior Boxer. Dogs are my favorite animal and I just love spending time with them! I recently retired from being a paraprofessional at a local school so I have a pretty flexible schedule. My husband works on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays so those days I am much more available but he is flexible if I’m working or have something scheduled. We live out in the country and have a fenced in yard so dogs can play and have some fun time running free. Our neighborhood is safe to walk dogs (we used to walk our little guy around the block daily—1 1/4 miles) and there are also 2 parks close by that we could walk if they seem bored with the block.

About: For several years I owned a Doggy B and B where the dogs were part of my family. There were no cages or crates which the owners really appreciated. They slept in bed with me, jumped and lounged on all the furniture, watched TV, ate plenty of homemade treats, went swimming in the pool and don't forget the car rides to the park and river. Every weekend I would shop for new, safe and tough toys. We celebrated holidays and birthdays with homemade pupcakes, presents and costumes. They also got a "report" card saying how their day was and what they did that day or weekend. There were lots of pictures taken and shared too. Areas and toys were thoroughly inspected each day to ensure a safe and fun playtime. I love pets! All kinds of them. Your pet will get my undivided attention. I bring toys & treats plus send lots of pictures while you're away. That way you can enjoy our pawty too. Since I can't have pets in my home, I'll come to your pet's home. Your pet will be my main focus for the duration of their stay whether it be training or sitting. The same goes for sitting or training in your home as well. I adapt well to new houses, don’t mind cats as well. I like to keep clean around the house, and I do offer deep cleaning as an extra.
