About: I have always loved animals. My favorite thing to do is go on walks because I get to spend time with my best buddies and I get some excercise myself. All dogs have a unique personality and I love getting the opportunity to get to know each dog. I am a pretty active person myself so I am able to power walk or even run to get the dogs energy out! My schedule is pretty flexible but I prefer mornings and afternoons (morning walks are always peaceful and nice). I am willing to travel to trails and other walking areas to give the dog a new adventure and so they do not get bored with the same walking routine. I think even dogs like to change up where they walk every now and then! My current work schedule is already extremely flexible. I am able to work around any pet care visits and walks. I would love to spend the extra time I have caring for animals as they always make days brighter! Currently I am only doing care at the clients home. We just moved and currently do not have a fence set up yet. Our two dogs listen pretty well so we don’t have to worry about them running off, but I don’t want to risk watching anyone else’s fur baby at our home until we have a fence put up! I am willing to care for pets at the clients home and can promise I won’t make a mess and will clean up after myself and the pet!
About: I was raised up a dog girl, but since starting to care for my friend’s feline babies, I have grown to love them. The subtle snuggles once they’re comfortable around you is priceless. I love to keep cats enriched with play times and endless rubs if they are okay with it as I know some cats just like your presence.
About: I've had a cat in the household since I was around 10 years old and haven't gone back. From one stray we adopted to four wild siblings and everything in-between, I've always loved cats and have scooped their poop more times than I'd like to recall. They do come with their personalities and after raising a kitten by hand, I understand the distance some need as well as others that can't get enough of the cuddles or play time. Although medication is much trickier than dogs, I have also been the one to give out the medicine, trim claws and just about everything needed for their well being. “I came to Grand Rapids on a last-minute work thing and didn’t want to leave Roxy in the hotel alone for 4 to 6 hours in the evening. I reached out to a couple of folks on rover and Miranda was one of the first ones that replied and was able to take Roxy. This was my first time as a doggy dad leaving Rox with with somebody I didn’t know. We met Miranda at her house and after meeting her found that she is truly a really nice person that truly loves animals and made it easy for me to leave her there. Roxy took to her almost immediately. I picked Roxy up the next morning and everything was great. She’d been walked and had play time few times and she was her normal goofy happy self. Great job!”

About: If my husband would let me, I’d buy a zoo (come on powerball). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve never met a pet that I didn’t want to spoil and cuddle. My daughter calls me a “stay at home pet mom”. Most days I’m home all day, with the exception of an occasional errand, appointment, drop ins for other dogs, or maybe a date night. She’s 8 months now, she has appointed herself Official Play Time Supervisor of any and all dog guest- your pups will go home tired. Occasionally our daughter’s Boston Terrier, Franklin will visit, he hasn’t met a person, dog, or cat, he doesn’t like. He’s truly the best boy. I have had to administer meds in the past and don’t mind doing so. Animal caretaking is my full time job and my family is 1000% okay with that. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t want to bring home with me. We just moved from Sparta to Ravenna, and we’re now on 3 acres. Your fur baby is invited and encouraged to make our house their home away from home. They will be well spoiled and loved, as my entire family will be doting on them.

About: I have been around animals my whole life and am not afraid to get my hands dirty if I have to! If you need a pet sitter who will run your hyper dog around the yard for hours to get them to go to sleep, I'm your girl:) I have experience mainly in shepherds and larger dogs since I have been watching them since I was about 14 and grew up with 3 shepherds and a lab. That said, I can handle all dog sizes and cats if you need me to! I had a Miniature Schnauzer for over 10 years as well so I'm comfortable around smaller and elderly pets if needed. Not to mention, I have experience in caring for other animals such as guinea pigs:) I also used to volunteer at the local humane society so any age of dog I can handle. About: I have a lifelong love for animals and currently have both a dog and a kitten of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets! I work in healthcare, which has made me very responsible, attentive, and detail oriented. I have experience administering medications and following specific care instructions, and I’m comfortable caring for pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so I can keep their environment as consistent and stress free as possible. This includes feeding schedules, fresh water, walks or litter care, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely while giving pets companionship and reassurance while their family is away. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment with supervision and structured routines so pets feel secure. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is always to treat every pet like family and give them the same love and care I give my own!
