“Went above and beyond with my fragile old dog! Actually got him to eat, tried a number of things including sitting with him to get him comfortable...amazing.. he typically will not eat at any pet care situation but with this sitter he came home just like I dropped him off…normal. She is so sweet and caring such a good experience for him particularly because he just lost his brother. He also seemed to get on well with her doggy who was very friendly. Obviously, a very gentle and generous dog who shared his home with no difficulty. I can not tell you all the ways in which she supported my dog in this situation and what amazing communication she provided to ease my mind. Several pictures a day with details on his condition both emotional and physical. Do not hesitate to use this wonderful person and true dog whisperer! You will feel instantly comfortable and connected to your fur baby as you travel!”

“Hanna was absolutely fantastic with my 2 dogs! She was attentive to all of my requests as a dog parent, she sent constant picture updates of them having fun, and she returned them to me in wonderful spirits and cleaner than before. For anyone in need of a dog sitter, look no further. She is a reliable and wonderful caretaker.”

“Christina is awesome! Because of my job, sometimes my requests are super last-minute. She’s been awesome with working around my schedule. My pup had a blast at her place and came home exhausted. She will continue to be my go-to sitter!”

“Jenny was fantastic watching our dog, Weko. She kept him active and engaged and shared many updates. We are often weary leaving him but she instantly put us at ease leaving him in her care. I would highly recommend Jenny and will book again!”

“Leandra and Mark did an amazing job with our puppy. They are so personal with clients. They took such good care of our baby. I definitely will book again. Their availability is great especially for a puppy. They love playing with the puppy. They treated our puppy like he was their own. I look forward to them watching him again soon!”

“Excellent service is all I gotta say!! This was my dogs first time ever staying overnight with anyone besides her owners and she did really good, she doesn't like other animals so she had her own separate space! They kept me updated every few hours or so with videos and pictures, I will definitely be booking again! 😊”

“My dog has horrible separation anxiety so I dread trips away from home. Using the warm and cozy home of Janis and Devin was the perfect solution. I received multiple pictures every day. I could tell my dog was happy and feeling a part of the family. When I picked him up he was not crazed and inconsolable. He also has not been extra anxious at home as he usually gets. I will use Janis and Devin again and again. I have the highest esteem and praise for their business. I HIGHLY recommend!”

“Mary S. took wonderful care of my 2 dogs during our vacation. 8 days is a long time to be away from them. She sent me photo and text updates almost daily. It was also during a bunch of thunderstorms and around firework time, and my dogs are so scared of the loud noises. Mary made sure they were comfortable and cared for! I highly recommend her and will hopefully have the opportunity to use her services again.”
“Daisy was the happiest I've ever seen her with someone else taking care of her. Emily is a treasure that I found. I'll be using her often. Thank you Emily! And her dogs were awesome with Daisy!”

“Clara’s kennel was comfy and cool for our dog during a lake vacation that didn’t allow pups. The fenced in play area is perfect and Tock enjoyed running around with the other dogs at her house. She was also flexible on pickup times which helped us on our roadtrip.”

I utilize the fenced in area for play and hanging out with dogs. I love hanging out with the pets inside also, I have raised beds set out in the house for relaxing and plenty of couches the dogs are welcome to enjoy. I use crates and gates in the house for peace of mind and relaxation when I am out of the house.

I would highly recommend Tiffani and will definitely have her look after him next time I am in town.”

“Cindy is simply amazing! She made friends with my two spoiled kitties in no time. She sent me videos of play time and I could see how comfortable they were with her. I will definitely call on her again!”

About: I have experience caring for cats and understand that every cat has their own personality and routine. I’m comfortable with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving cats space when they like a calmer environment. I pay close attention to behavior and make sure cats feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I’m happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your cat is doing well.

About: I've taken care of many neighbors cats since I was 12 ish, I always leave a good impression for the owner by cleaning up well before I leave and having them come home to very happy kitties. I've helped open up shy cats as well.
“Maegan was great!! She left out kitties in a nice clean, warm space especially with the storm that passed. She had great communication and did everything we asked of her. It seemed like our cats really liked her too! Would definitely have her again.”

“I was super nervous about trying out a new sitter for my cats, but Lucy was wonderful. Each day she sent me pictures and an update. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Thomye and family spoiled the heck out of Susu, sent lots of pictures, and were great about keeping us updated. When we travel again, we will totally be happy about sending Susu back for his own little vacation.”
“Ambrosia was great again!! My cats and dogs were very happy with her! She is very flexible and helpful which is great! It was my second time having her watch my pets and I wasn’t worried one bit! She is the best!!”

“We’re always so grateful for Michelle’s care of our shy cat — she’s great at following the care sheet and letting us know how things are going. It’s always such a weight of our minds when we’re traveling. Thank you, Michelle!!!”

“She is a great sitter and person! She came through last minute and I got really good vibes from the meet and greet which put us at ease leaving our babies and home in her care. She also had no issue caring for our hamster in addition to the 3 cats. She took care of everything while we were gone and went above and beyond. The power went out during our trip and I told her to forego the strawberry treat for the hamster to hold the cold in the fridg. She was so thoughtful to surprise her with bringing one from home! She has an energy animals must gravitate towards bc my dog who normally barks a long time when people come over before settling down barely barked when she arrived and the rehabbed feral cat who always hides from strangers even showed herself. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ashlee!”

About: As a cat owner of three cats myself, I know how important it is to have someone caring and dependable watching over your pets. I’m comfortable caring for cats with different personalities and routines, and I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and care while you’re away.

“Our cat sitter, Brielle, was more than excellent! She interacted mostly with our social butterfly cat, Vader, and he loved the attention. The other two stayed hiding, as usual whenever someone new is at the house. Their food was on point, water and litter boxes cleaned and cared for. She left all better than she found it and that is appreciated! We hope to use Brielle services again in the future. Having her watching the kitties made for a very relaxing vacation.”

“Olivia took wonderful care of our 38 lb, energetic Blue Heeler. She was calm and loving to our dog, and our dog responded in a positve way to her. She sent us pictures of our happy, calm dog during the day, which we appreciated. And we loved that Olivia only has one dog in the house at a time (other than her own sweet little dog). She invited us to use her again, and we will definitely take her up on it.”

“Calm energy, easy to work with, and super accommodating. I was nervous my dog would show signs of separation anxiety or show dominance with other dogs prior to daycare. Brianne's presence was so welcoming that my dog was happy to be there. She was also able to orchestrate a soft introduction to 2 other dogs boarding with her and my dog actually did really well. So grateful! Thanks Brianne!”

“My beagle, Annie, spent half a day getting acquainted with Summer, Jazzie, and Finn. After some initial anxiety over being left, she settled in very well thanks to Summer's responsiveness. Soon after I left, she took Annie for a walk with her dogs which distracted and relaxed her a bit. When I picked her up, she was happy and had gotten along well with Jazzie and Finn. Summer responded quickly to my texts and let me know how Annie was doing with texts and pics.”

“Lucy is great! We recently moved to the area and so pleased we found Lucy to help us take care of our dog Rori. She’s super professional, understands dogs so well and Rori loves her! Thanks Lucy! ❤️”

“Our Lizzy was well taken care of when staying with Michaelynn. She had a lot of activity and attention. Michaelynn was very good with communication. Will definitely use her services again.”

“Jeremiah is definitely a dog person. My pup couldn't wait to greet him the second time I hired him, going right up to him and wagging her tail. The surroundings of his place are perfect for the walks he takes her on - lots to sniff and explore. He is very conscientious about securing her with a double leash.Thank you, Jeremiah.”

About: I grew up with in a home with multiple dogs and cats and now I have my own personal tribe of a dog and two cats. I work from home these days and for the foreseeable future. Working from home gives me the extra time needed to care for your fur babies while you’re gone! I have a fenced in yard for your dog to play. My Belle loves to play with other dogs. I have room for a crate in my home if need be.
“Hanna has been a lifesaver as me and my dog Poppy adjust to the area and with the move! Poppy loves going to Hanna’s and playing with her new friends. Poppy is super anxious around other dogs, but she LOVES Hanna’s pups. It’s such a great feeling as a pet owner to know when I drop Poppy off she’s more excited to be there than she is to be at home!”

About: I have been an animal lover all of my life. I have had dogs the largest being a St.Bernard and the smallest being a Maltese. I have had cats, birds, guinea pigs, gerbils, a rabbit and semi-tropical fish. I consider taking care of pets as much a joy as a responsibility and am available to help care for your pet. I am retired and able to work part-time caring for animals. My past work included working 18 years in corporate travel, 30 years as a part-time bookkeeper for a small manufacturing company and 15 years in the healthcare industry including some private duty. I have many years of experience taking care of animals including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, parakeets, parrots and semi-tropical fish. I enjoy their company very much.
About: I've watched and owned not only a German Shepherd for over 15 years, but also cared for exotic animals, such as F1 Savannahs throughout the duration of my life. I just recently retired from the Army summer of 2023. I'm kind of bored and would love to keep myself busy doing something I love. I own a single family home with a small backyard that your fur baby can have access to. With less than a mile if requested I can walk your dog to the dog park.
About: Ive always had pets growing up my whole life, I started watching other people’s pets my last year of high school. I love all animals and I care for them like they are my own. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind when going on vacation, work calls, etc. which is why I keep all owners updated and informed on how their fur babies are doing. I currently work a 9-5, M-F. However my boyfriend gets off work at 3. Which is why I have my availability set to the weekends. I am not opposed to weekdays I just want to be up front about my schedule. I live on a half acre but we are out in the country surrounded by open fields. Therefore we have plenty of room to run, walk, and play, I also have two dogs myself to keep yours company and play! I do crate my own dogs when I leave the house because we have an open pantry and we’ve had trips to the vet because of things being eaten that should not have been… Therefore I prefer to crate dogs when I leave the house.
“Christina was amazing! She gauges the dogs needs very well and I feel our pups were happier when we came back than when we dropped them off! Definitely use her, she will not disappoint.”

About: I'm willing to go above and beyond to make sure your pet is being taken care of my someone who is going to treat them like they are their own. Right now I'm more then willing to work with any schedule that helps benefit us both. I'm willing to make a drive if that's what's needed. I treat the pet and the owners stuff as if it's everything. I might clean up a bit of there's small stuff needed done. I'll clean up messes that are caused by any accidents in the home.
“Emily and Ryan did a great job watching Hopscotch. They were easy to communicate with and were flexible with my schedule. I would recommend them if you need someone to watch your dog.”

“Justin was AMAZING in taking care of our 2 fur babies while we were in town for vacation. My black lab, who is very shy, warmed up to him right away which I knew was a very good indicator that they were in good hands. I will be using him from now on whenever I am in town.”

About: Dogs are a part of my soul and will be well cared for. Including walks, playtime, food, water and a doggy door. I cannot wait to meet your pup. I am a stay at home dog Mom. I am always available unless I am running errands. I do 2 meals a day and walk in the afternoon. My pets rule the roost. I will take care of your pets as if they are my own. Also, if I am in your home I will be respectful as if it is my own.

“I’ve been bringing my dog, Mykonos, to Lynn for daycare, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. Every morning, he gets so excited to go back, which says everything about how comfortable and happy he feels with her. He comes home calm and content, showing no signs of stress or anxiety. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Lynn clearly cares deeply for the dogs she looks after, and I’m grateful for the warm, safe environment she provides.”

About: With many years of experience I am highly qualified to care for your pet. Growing up I started a neighborhood pet care business where I would watch my neighbors pets when they were on vacation. This quickly grew and I started letting out neighborhood dogs after school when their parents would get home late. I also grew up with 2 Labradors retrievers and a Corgi. Due to my ever changing schedule I’m not able to commit to adopting a dog at this time so I’ve come to Rover to help the community and get my fill of animal therapy. Currently I am working from home with a part time schedule. A lot of my work can be done at any time. This leaves me ample time to care for your pet. I have a building just outside of downtown that has a large area in the back. There is a park that is around the corner and plenty of sidewalks for walks. Inside my home there are hardwood floors with area rugs. I am a very neat and organized person so there is nothing your pet will be able to get into.
“Jamie was wonderful! Her communication was excellent, she sent plenty of photos and updates throughout the day. My dogs came home so happy and tired, I know they had such a fun time.”

“Summer did a great job with Toast and Butters. Both dogs came home ready to rest with their little tongues hanging out. Summer was very communicative and asked questions to try to understand our dogs behaviors and needs. Highly recommend and will definitely be working with her again”

“Emilia shows caring with fur boys & girls. She follows my requests with location, allows sniffing, & time for much needed walk/s. Finn is a good soul which goldendoodles are born with. He thanks Emilia for the 30 min. times requested by mom. I will hire her again for future walks when I'm away. Thanks Emilia”

“I love Maegan! She walks both of my dogs (Brookie and Ellie) Monday through Friday and does so good with them! I have a desk job so I wanted someone to come and exercise them for a solid half hour. Both my dogs return warn out and just lie in my office and nap after their walks. She is very caring towards my pups and is very consider of Brooke who is older and sometimes needs some assistance. I will keep returning to Maegan for all my dog walking needs! :)”

About: Hi! My name is Audrey! I am a former nurse and used to take care of humans for a living but am pursuing a career change. I now take care of fur babies, but my 7 years of nursing experience has taught me patience, flexibility, and safety skills (as well as making me an expert at cleaning pee and poop). I've been a dog owner and taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I've had multiple dogs growing up and currently own my 10-year old Golden Shepherd Mix rescue, Maxx. It brings me so much joy and happiness to meet any and all dogs/cats and to give them love and attention they deserve. I volunteer at the Humane Society to help socialize those dogs and give them love but also to gain experience meeting as many dogs as possible to learn more on how to identify dog behavior/body language and how to gain their trust when meeting a new person. I also love taking fun pictures, so you will get lots of pictures of your fur baby while you're gone. I also work part time as a barista and will occasionally be working 4 to 8 hr shifts periodically throughout the week, but with enough notice, I can try to adjust my schedule to accommodate for you if your pet can't be alone for long periods of time. I can't imagine a life without having a fur baby, and I hope I get to help take care of yours! I work part time as a barista and my schedule changes every week with shifts varying from 4-8hrs long at a time. With enough notice (usually about 2-3 weeks ahead ideally), I can adjust my schedule to try and accommodate for you especially if your pet can't be alone for long periods of time. I'm willing and able to do any day of the week! I'm fairly flexible, so I'll do my best to get my schedule to work with yours. I live in a cozy 2-bedroom apartment with a lot of space to walk around the apartment complex. There is a fenced in dog runner at this complex too.
About: I’ve raised dogs, cats & goats since I was old enough to hold a leash! From bottle feeding kittens to training goats to do tricks, dogs feel like a breeze. For the last 6 years, I’ve taken care of family & friend’s dogs. My husband & I have a 80lb golden doodle (who is transitioning into his elder stage of life) so I understand the importance of daily walks, play dates, and proper grooming. I vow to apply the same care for your pet! I’m currently a server, so I work less than 30 hours a week & mainly evenings! This leaves me plenty of time to pet-sit or walk during the day, especially on my days off. I have a fenced in back yard, a park within a 3 minute walking distance, and an incredibly friendly golden doodle. He loves to play fetch and tug. We take our dog on daily walks, weekly baths, and administer the proper vitamins and ear care as he transitions into being an elder dog. It’s important that I translate these same practices to clients animals!
“Good communication and quick to respond! I didn’t have a chance to see her interact with my dog, but it seems like she did everything that was requested and was careful with him.”

“Hannah was great! She was friendly and reliable, my dog loves her! She came every weekday for 3 weeks and he looked forward to her daily visits! She was always on time and we have already booked some more play dates!”

She provided excellent communication and detail during her visits. She was incredibly patient with us and our crazy schedule. She offered excellent advice and consul, going above and beyond what was expected. She has a wonderful moral character and we could not have been happier with her service! We highly recommend Alicia!”

About: I grew up with all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, fish, etc. In college, I adopted my first cat. She developed diabetes so I have experience administering insulin injections. I have adopted 3 pitbull mixes. Bindi was my love and then we added Ranger. He was a foster failure! My current boy Jax is 3 years old. Being a pitbull mom, I obviously have extensive experience with larger breeds including leash aggressiveness. I participated in basic training classes with all of them. Also, living in a condo in Chicago meant I had to walk my own dogs several times a day for exercise and potty breaks, no fenced yard there. I have a Zoology degree from MSU, have volunteered at PAWS, Mobile Mutts and Shedd Aquarium while living in Chicago. I recently relocated to the St. Joseph area from the Detroit suburbs where I am from. I also lived in Chicago for many years. I am looking for some extra part-time work that is flexible and that I enjoy. At this time, I am offering drop in and dog walking services. I currently work full time during the week. I love animals and will be respectful of all requests with your animals and your home.

About: Hello, I'm a big animal lover. Life is always better with furry friends! I have pretty much always had a dog most of my life & always consider them family. I was lucky & got to be there when my former fur baby was born. Her mom let me massage her hips & tummy while in labor. It was her 1st litter & she was awesome!! She let me handle all 9 of the babies after she was done delivering so we could transfer all them to a clean bed & to help rotate at feeding time to ensure they all ate. All 9 survived & were healthy!! I was also a "doula" for my mom's cats pregnancy & she let me massage her tummy & handle her babies right away also. It's a blessing to see & be a part of. I would love to provide a safe and comfortable care for your pet while you are away. I used to have birds, cats, fish, been around reptiles & snakes, turtles, I worked at an eagle rapture center in Alaska which is where I'm from. I have a strong belief to only work in something you love so here I am. :-) Your pet will receive the same love & attention as if they were my own & provide plenty of pictures. Before I became a provider for Rover I used the service a few times myself & was very appreciative when I was given daily updates & pictures & want to provide the same for others. It truly meant a lot to me to get that so I know the importance. -Reliable, Safe, Comfortable w/ all animals -Wellness checks -Doggie daycare in your home-Rover doesn't allow me to add this feature/pricing-please ask for free quote -Pet Sitting -Pet Grooming -Walking/Running/Playtime -Pickup/Drop Off for Appointments -Training -Overnight care -Reiki/Massage for pets -I'm more than happy to help w/ some extra house cleaning (additional) so don't be afraid to ask. “Mary S. took wonderful care of my 2 dogs during our vacation.

About: Life long animal person, from a young age I took care of farm animals like chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, cats. In my adult life i got a dog. I love working and learning with my dog. A few years ago I started volunteering and fostering through the Berrien county animal services. I truly love fostering and the difference it makes! I plan to foster for a long time. I have started to make my way through some animal care and training courses. adventure hounds NC mentorship and shadow program Red Cross pet first aid And more coming soon! Always looking for opportunities to build community and knowledge around animals and people! I work part-time very close to home. I pride myself on prioritizing quality time to animals in my care. I have strict boundaries on the quality of care I want to provide so I do not take on more than I feel comfortable with. providing a safe emotional environment for your pets is my top priority I have a big yard with a small portion fenced in.
“Jamie really helped us out by taking in Buddy on short notice allowing us to meet the sweet newest addition to our family. We could tell he had a very good time based on falling asleep immediately on the drive home. She was very good at communication. Highly recommend.”

“Tiffani was great with my Rudy. Treated him like her own. Great communication with me. Never worried for a minute that he wasn't having the best care. I know he had a great time because he was worn out when I picked him up. Not an easy thing to do with an active puppy like my Rudy. I would highly recommend Tiffani and will definitely have her look after him next time I am in town.”

“This was the first time I left my puppy. Even though I texted to check on him way more than I should have Nicholas never got upset and kept me updated with videos and answered whatever questions I had. Beaux was with him four nights. I would use him again and definitely recommend”

“Great as always. Jaxson loves it there and always comes back home tired. Kevin's dogs Sly and Sage also play very well and Kevin is great about sending pictures and videos.”

“We were in a bind when our original sitter got sick right before we had to leave for my son’s wedding, and Stacy came through for us at the very last minute. She was absolutely wonderful with Sophie, so patient and kind. She sent updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. We’d definitely love to use her again in the future.”
