She took him into her yard, on a leash, & to a nearby trail. No doubt he loved that. It was my fault that he had to be exposed to another dog for his last 3 days, as I initially got my return date wrong . But he dealt with that pretty well, it seems.”

“Laura and Joe took care of our two older dogs for a week while we drove a couple of hours to have a vacation. We knew from our visit with them that Laura would be caring and attentive, but she really did go above and beyond! We received multiple updates and photos and videos daily. Even more impressive was how well Laura handled a behavioral problem that arose with one of our dogs. I had forgotten that he once had this problem with us -six years ago when we got him - and when it popped up again, Laura dealt with it so well! She even purchased something that we thought would help, after messaging with me about the issue. Laura’s care and confidence saved our vacation, when a less experienced sitter might have asked us to return and pick up our dog. The problem resolved and our dogs had a wonderful stay with Laura and Joe. We have always used a kennel in the past. It is a small one and the dogs are out playing much of the day. Last time, things did not go well there for our 13 year-old dog. We tried Rover to find someone who would provide both a safe setting and special care for our dogs. We got this with Laura, for sure!”

About: I used to have 3 cats, named Mist/Bliss/Derpy. we had to give them away because my moms boyfriend didn't like the smell of their spray and we couldnt get the cats to stop. anyway, I cared for them since they were old enough to come home from their foster mom. I raised them from kittens in the basement all the way until they were full grown.

About: I grew up taking care of my family dog since I was little, but started getting my own pets when I was 11. About: I have been a pet owner my entire life, I grew up on a horse ranch, which exposed me to many different types of animals. I usually would get young animals, from cats, dogs and horses...it would give me the chance to train them. I am very Blessed to be able to stay at home...I am available 24/7, 7 days a week. I have a 3 year old very friendly golden retriever. 4 outdoor cats, 3 adults and 3 baby kittens I believe pets are like children, food and water along with a friendly voice goes a long way. Mom's house had three long haired cats (I know how to clean a hairball) and a collie/German shepard/lab mix. she herded us as kids, and loved to learn tricks. I love taking dogs on walks that range from a lap around the backyard to a mile and a half loop around the area. I am equally as delighted to spend hours on the couch, lounging and reorganizing their blanket nest as needed, with all the belly rubs and chin scratches they desire. Lastly, I hesitate to offer this, but I am willing to give baths to furry friends as long as theyre not super aggressive. My cats way back in the day were fond of eating with their feet. I am available any day at any time!! :) This is a part time gig for me, I am a full time college student looking to get money for a car. I will probably discontinue this when college starts in the fall. I let my dog out into the yard with supervision twice a day, and I walk her once a day right before dinner. I keep all dogs on their leash on their walks, but a yard with a fence is free reign. I am used to animals who try to run out the door, so I know the trick to enter with your leg first to push their noses out of the way so I can slip in.

ABOUT ME: I am married and a parent to two teenage boys as well as 2 dogs and 3 cats - each spoiled beyond belief. If you asked me what makes me happy, I would answer "taking care of my pets" I am also passionate about meeting the needs of your furry friends. I worked a corporate job for 30 years and recently took early retirement. Since then, I have volunteered at the Macomb Humane Society and Leader Dogs for the Blind. I am trying to find my true purpose in life and realize I have a special connection with animals, most specifically meeting their needs. I believe now is the time to get started doing something new so here goes! I have the heart to help others take great care of their own pets, hoping I can help you with your pet. I build my weekly schedule around my client's needs. I believe I have an authentic connection with animals and go out of my way to prioritize their needs, ensuring a safe environment that is also fun and loving. I truly love all animals!
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my Love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for all animals. My experience in Pet Care is from caring for my family and friends pets and having my own pets as well. I also volunteer now at an Animal Rescue. I have a 15yr old Pup so I have experience in giving medications and gentle Love and Care. I also have a 3yr old, so I know the energy level and play-time they need. I am currently working part-time at my discretion, so I can work any pet care in to my schedule easily. I'm very flexible to work around your needs. When I care for your precious Pets in your home, I would stick to there daily routine, give them exercise, and follow all special requirements needed. I like to send updates and pictures each day so you know they are doing great! I'm very trustworthy, dependable and will give your Pets all the love, attention, walks, and playful interaction they need.

“Laura and Joe took care of our two older dogs for a week while we drove a couple of hours to have a vacation. We knew from our visit with them that Laura would be caring and attentive, but she really did go above and beyond! We received multiple updates and photos and videos daily. Even more impressive was how well Laura handled a behavioral problem that arose with one of our dogs. I had forgotten that he once had this problem with us -six years ago when we got him - and when it popped up again, Laura dealt with it so well! She even purchased something that we thought would help, after messaging with me about the issue. Laura’s care and confidence saved our vacation, when a less experienced sitter might have asked us to return and pick up our dog. The problem resolved and our dogs had a wonderful stay with Laura and Joe. We have always used a kennel in the past. It is a small one and the dogs are out playing much of the day. Last time, things did not go well there for our 13 year-old dog. We tried Rover to find someone who would provide both a safe setting and special care for our dogs. We got this with Laura, for sure!”
