“Laura took such great care of our dog, Telly, while we were on vacation. She sent lots of updates with photos and Telly always looked comfortable and happy like she was on her own vacation. Laura carefully read our instructions for care and feeding at drop-off and made sure she understood Telly’s needs before we left. She even cooked Telly more chicken to top her dog food with once the chicken we provided ran out. You can tell Laura truly loves dogs and I had no worries about leaving our pup with her for the week. About: I grew up around animals my whole life. My best friend had a farm growing up. I have always lived with dogs, bunnies, geckos, frogs, cats, you name it! About: I have cared for and owned all different kinds of animals. I have been in the horse riding industry since I was 8 years old so I am not skiddish towards other animals. I truly have a passion for animals and I am very able and willing to do what it takes to take care of your beloved pets!! I am currently a full time student, however I am a commuter so I have the ability to travel freely in between classes and outside of classes. ABOUT ME: I am married and a parent to two teenage boys as well as 2 dogs and 3 cats - each spoiled beyond belief. If you asked me what makes me happy, I would answer "taking care of my pets" I am also passionate about meeting the needs of your furry friends. I worked a corporate job for 30 years and recently took early retirement. Since then, I have volunteered at the Macomb Humane Society and Leader Dogs for the Blind. I am trying to find my true purpose in life and realize I have a special connection with animals, most specifically meeting their needs. I believe now is the time to get started doing something new so here goes! I have the heart to help others take great care of their own pets, hoping I can help you with your pet. I build my weekly schedule around my client's needs. I believe I have an authentic connection with animals and go out of my way to prioritize their needs, ensuring a safe environment that is also fun and loving. I truly love all animals!
About: I have been a pet owner my entire life, I grew up on a horse ranch, which exposed me to many different types of animals. I usually would get young animals, from cats, dogs and horses...it would give me the chance to train them. I am very Blessed to be able to stay at home...I am available 24/7, 7 days a week. I have a 3 year old very friendly golden retriever. 4 outdoor cats, 3 adults and 3 baby kittens I believe pets are like children, food and water along with a friendly voice goes a long way. I get along with both cats and dogs.
About: I love pets and handle almost any type of temperament :) Living in the Del Ray area, I've had many opportunities to interact with different breeds and I've never had a dog I couldn't taken care of. “Laura took such great care of our dog, Telly, while we were on vacation. She sent lots of updates with photos and Telly always looked comfortable and happy like she was on her own vacation. Laura carefully read our instructions for care and feeding at drop-off and made sure she understood Telly’s needs before we left. She even cooked Telly more chicken to top her dog food with once the chicken we provided ran out. You can tell Laura truly loves dogs and I had no worries about leaving our pup with her for the week. I would definitely hire Laura again and highly recommend her to anyone else looking for a dog sitter!”
