About: I've had animals since I was little: hamsters, rabbits, rats, cats, and dogs. I've spent plenty of time around horses, as well. I've had a dog for the last 11 years but my parents are now watching her in Michigan, while I pursue beginning nursing school in the near future. I've worked in fertility medicine for the last 12 years, and I live in Beaverton. I work full-time in the medical field, Monday through Friday, from 8am - 5pm in downtown Portland, and will have more availability during the day after July 20th. I’m happy to accomodate your pets! About: I worked at a free-roam high volume cat lounge for a year, where I lead a team of volunteers to take care of all the cats alongside me. Daily, I handled cats to administer oral medications, give fluids and vaccinations when needed. Very experienced and confident with handling cats of all temperaments, even with nail trimming!

She always did MORE than required, including regular communication, photos, and details that she'd only know if she was really spending time with them. We came home to a tidy house and 2 happy, well-fed cats. And when we got home from a long, stressful drive, we found the sweetest note about our kitties and a gift of homemade pumpkin bread! I never worried about a thing, which for me, is an amazing gift. I missed our cats, but I never worried about them. For me, THAT is the very best recommendation I can give a caregiver. About: I am a 30 year old college graduate and I have loved dogs my entire life. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up so I always asked my friends if I could hang out with their dogs whenever possible. I just honestly really love dogs and want to be able to hang out with as many as possible throughout my life. I interned at a Veterinary Clinic during my senior year of high school so I have become familiar with appropriate ways to administer medications, trim toe nails, and calm anxious pups. My availability is fairly flexible and I will always make time to take care of a pooch that needs it while their pet parents are away for whatever reason they have. My schedule can sometimes be unpredictable but I always do my best to communicate that with possible clients. Open communication is key for me to help you. If I’m in your home, I treat it like my own. I was raised to respect everyone and their belongings. Your pet’s safety is always my number one priority.

About: My entire childhood there was always a dog or two in the house. I grew up with 5 different English setters that I helped take care of as starting as young as 10 years old. Being the high energy dogs that they are, I became well acquainted with daily walks and lots of attention and care. Today I’m the proud father of a 3 year old golden doodle named Winston. Despite being a couch potato he also loves the beach, camping, and could play fetch until his legs gave out. I’ve been working for home for 5 years now as a project manager, which has allowed me to proved constant care and attention to Winston and my parent 3 English setters whenever they have been out of town. Living just outside of downtown Negaunee, my neighborhood is dog friendly and the perfect place for a walk. I also offer a medium sized fenced in backyard, which is perfect for fetch and play time. I work from home M-F, so I’m always home and available to provide care. I also have a 3 year old golden doodle that I’m caring for fully time each day. I have a medium sized fenced in back yard with a covered porch. It is the perfect size for short distance fetch and playtime. Plus the porch offers some shade from the sun if they enjoy sitting outside and people watching.

Ninja looks very relaxed and comfortable at Jered's home and comes back happy. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

Working in a pet hospital, dog rescue facility, and a county shelter gave me a lot of experience and professional training with handling dogs of all sizes safely, especially anxious dogs. Open to traveling further and staying for longer periods of time if needed. We can provide referrals from folks we have supported with their animals over the years. About: I have taken care of dogs for awhile not only have I watched them, but I have also owned them! I am perfectly fine taking them for walks I would really love that! Or just watching them for a couple of hours or for the night while the family is out! I have taken care of older dogs too! ( I am not having dogs at my house, app won’t let me update that) Now accepting overnights. I will be working days at my other job so I now have more availability for over nights if anyone is interested! I don’t have any pets currently due to the place I live at. When we had dogs we would always keep them on a leash so they don’t run away or go and randomly jump on other people. Let them out whenever needed and feed twice a day.
