About: I have had a family dog since I have been 5 years old. We have had two dogs starting at a puppy age. I have walked dogs starting at a puppy age to senior age. I am able to give the dog a short up to a longer walk. My current living situation has a cat in the house. I provide care for the kitten when its owner is gone for the week. I am able to clean the litter box, give water/food and play with the cat. I just finished up my first year of teaching ending early June. I am now available after 12 pm on the weekdays and most weekends (any time range). My job is to take care of your furry friends and your home. I currently have a German Shorthaired pointer/ blue heeler mix that loves to play especially with other dogs at the dog park! My fosters vary from carrying for pregnant dogs, to puppies, to seniors. I have done it all. I am currently able to work from home most of the time so I am available all week. From all the updates she sent, I could tell my girl was relaxed and just being welcomed to be herself. It was clear from the photos provided that Natalie was getting right on her level and that Greta felt secure. I was late droping-off and picking up, but Natalie was so flexible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. About: Dogs that come into my home will be loved, cuddled, learn tricks, always have a cozy place to sleep. We live on 3 acres but have a section that is fenced in for dog safety. I do not recommend having dogs that like to jump on fences here at our home until I can get ours replaced, as it is only 4 ft tall. But is excellent for non jumpers We will enjoy walks a couple times a day around our property. We have a golden retriever that loves having a playmate. We love all breeds, any size, any age. I am a single mom of a 7 year old so excited to take on extra responsibility. Dogs are our family. They need to be treated in a loving, kind, gentle manner. You can guarantee that your pup will be completely safe, and we'll taken care of in my care. I have never not owned a dog or cat. They have been a part of my life for many years. We also own 27 chickens and are willing to do drop in visits for chickens if needed as you go on vacation. My son is a great help with feeding, watering, collecting eggs, and light chicken coop cleaning. I work morning to early afternoon. I am usually home by 1 or 2 p.m. After I take care of my pets I am available to care for yours. I have a fenced in backyard. About: I have watched a multitude of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, lizards and even alpacas. I love training dogs and would gladly help train puppies and even older dogs. I am also experienced in giving medication to dogs and cats. I am on call for a doggy daycare so my schedule is completely free to pet sit any day other then Tuesdays from 3 until 6. Unfortunately I can't watch pets in my own home because I personally have a few pets of my own. I walk my dog every other day and bring him to the dog park on the opposite days and I will gladly walk your dogs every day or bring them to the dog park to play. I also have a cat of my own. I treat my dog and my cat like they’re part of my family. I want your pets to feel loved while you’re away, so I will do everything I can to ensure that happens. I will make sure they are fed exactly as you need me to, I will administer medications (if they need them), we will go on walks, and if they are allowed to sleep in a bed, they can sleep with me also. I will make sure your home is straightened up before your return as well. I have a completely open schedule; so I can stop over any time of the day that you need care. Whether it’s early morning, or late evening, I can make that work for you. I will treat your home as if it is my own home. I will clean up after your pet and myself. I can administer medications (if needed), I will feed as you need me to; and I promise to give your pet lots of love and cuddles.
About: I worked in a professional pet care facility for 6 years and that taught me all the skills I need to care for any pet. I can administer any kind of medication to your pet in a calm and safe manner. I am able to continue any training that may have been started for puppies or a new dog as we all know consistency is the key. I have a very social and loving dog of my own if your pet needs a friend. Most of all I will love on your baby(ies) like they are my own! I worked in a professional pet care facility for 6 years and I am now working in a Theater. Due to some lulls in my schedules I am hoping to get back to loving on all different types of animals while their owners are away or just need extra help I have a very large fenced in yard with a 6ft+ fence to keep all dogs safe while giving them plenty of space to run. I do not keep any chemical, plants or other substances that would be toxic to pets and they will always be supervised while having playtime to make sure it is going well. And if your animal just wants a quiet space, I have rooms to do that for them as well!
About: Hi there! My name is Ashley, and I’m a lifelong animal lover based in the Kalamazoo area. I work full-time in hospitality sales, but caring for animals has always been one of my favorite things to do. I’ve been dog and cat sitting on and off for about 15 years and love getting the chance to spend time with furry friends of all kinds! I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have a rescue Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix named Leo, who has taught me so much about patience, behavior, and individualized care. I also have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels, from easygoing seniors to high-energy terriers and anxious or shy pets. I’ve also cared for cats, guinea pigs, and other small pets over the years. I typically prefer caring for pets in their own home because I believe familiar surroundings help them feel more comfortable and less stressed while you’re away. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for the entire time you’re gone. I’m also a big believer in communication, so you can always expect regular updates and photos throughout the stay! I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I work at a job in Kalamazoo from 9-5, Monday-Friday and we have a hybrid work schedule. I need to be in the office 1 full day and another half day for the most part. Depending on my week and schedule I can work where I need to and can adjust based on what you need. Some weeks are busier than others, and typically if I know I can't be available or will be busy for 8 hours or more, I will make myself unavailable. Currently I live in a rental house with a small yard that is not fenced in. I am able to let my dog out in the yard and we also take daily walks. I have a smaller house and prefer to watch dogs in your home if possible. I find that they are much more comfortable in their own home and I can do my best to follow their routine just like you would if you were home.
About: I have been exposed to animals my entire life. From dogs, cats, and wild animals such as birds of prey, reptiles and amphibians, I've done it all. I currently have a German Shorthaired pointer/ blue heeler mix that loves to play especially with other dogs at the dog park! I have worked with dogs of all sizes of various breeds and temperaments; from couch loving golden retrievers to hyper hyper huskies. I live in an area with plenty of space to go on walks and a short five minute drive to the dog park. I treat all dogs as if they were my own, so your pup will have the constant care and attention it needs plus some! I currently work full time during the week but have full availability on weekends. I am constantly finding new and creative ways to fill dogs lives with enrichment! I have a large yard and live 5 minutes from a large dog park! I also have a friendly dog that loves to play but knows other dog’s limits.
