We had one week before our event, and to make it even worse, it was Memorial Day weekend. Rover sent a list of drop-in sitters to help. Kelena responded very quickly to our request. Had a very successful meeting, the dogs loved her! On the day of the event, she came at the appointed time, sent pictures of our dogs, so we knew she got in okay, and fed and watered them. About: I have always been around animals my whole life and grew up with multiple pets, caring for them since they were babies up until they were seniors. I’m 25 years old, going to school at Eastern Michigan University to become an elementary teacher. I’m very active and love to be outdoors! I’m available Monday-Friday, as well as some weekends! I frequently dog sit for my friends and family, with most of my experience being with dogs between a year-fourteen years old, and same goes for cats. When I enter someone’s home I make sure to never approach their pets and let them approach me (because I know it can be nerve-wracking for them to meet a new person at times). I usually let dogs out every hour or more if needed and enjoy going for walks with them or playing fetch or any other games to keep them entertained. I follow the instructions given by the parents of our fluffy friends very closely, feed times, medicine times, treat times, etc. If I need to I usually set reminders so I have a backup reminder if needed. Along with caring for their pets I also clean up after them, litter boxes, toys, their outside duties, and whatever the pet parent instructs. I currently just moved to the Howell area and have not gotten a pet of my own yet, however I can pet sit your pets at my apartment if they’re potty trained, or can take care of them at your house as well!

I’m available at most times during the day and able to move around my own schedule when needed. I love taking them for walks, playing with them and giving them lots of attention. I would very much appreciate knowing what your routine is, or what your expectations are for your pets care. I will stick as closely as possible to what your fur baby knows and loves.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life dogs, horses, cats, and more, and have been caring for them since I was about 7 or 8 years old. About: Dogs have been my favorite animals since I was born. I have worked at a doggy daycare and kennel where I supervised dogs during playtime, ensure all dogs were well taken care of, and gave food, water, and meds to the dogs. She went above and beyond with communication throughout Charlie’s stay and when Charlie wasn’t seeming to be feeling good, she reached out to let us know and even took her to the vet for us.
