Anytime this changes I will immediately contact you and work something else out if it conflicts with specific requested times (such as dog walking). I walk my husky each morning before work regardless of what time I go in so you can be sure I will MAKE the time if I have to. :) I will follow any and all rules/schedules you have for your dog. About: Hi! My name is Audrey! I am a former nurse and used to take care of humans for a living but am pursuing a career change. I now take care of fur babies, but my 7 years of nursing experience has taught me patience, flexibility, and safety skills (as well as making me an expert at cleaning pee and poop). I've been a dog owner and taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old. I've had multiple dogs growing up and currently own my 10-year old Golden Shepherd Mix rescue, Maxx. It brings me so much joy and happiness to meet any and all dogs/cats and to give them love and attention they deserve. I volunteer at the Humane Society to help socialize those dogs and give them love but also to gain experience meeting as many dogs as possible to learn more on how to identify dog behavior/body language and how to gain their trust when meeting a new person. I also love taking fun pictures, so you will get lots of pictures of your fur baby while you're gone. I also work part time as a barista and will occasionally be working 4 to 8 hr shifts periodically throughout the week, but with enough notice, I can try to adjust my schedule to accommodate for you if your pet can't be alone for long periods of time. I can't imagine a life without having a fur baby, and I hope I get to help take care of yours! I work part time as a barista and my schedule changes every week with shifts varying from 4-8hrs long at a time. With enough notice (usually about 2-3 weeks ahead ideally), I can adjust my schedule to try and accommodate for you especially if your pet can't be alone for long periods of time. I'm willing and able to do any day of the week! I'm fairly flexible, so I'll do my best to get my schedule to work with yours. I live in a cozy 2-bedroom apartment with a lot of space to walk around the apartment complex. There is a fenced in dog runner at this complex too.

Having my own pet has made me attentive to routines, behavior changes, and the small details that help animals feel safe and cared for. I also love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or giving them the attention and exercise they need. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for every day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.
