“Beth was very sweet and friendly! Super helpful and happy to have my 13 year old girl Sage. Her house is clean and quiet and relaxing for my old girl, which I really appreciated! Very helpful that she has a fenced in yard. I will be definitely be sending Sage to Beth's again!”

“Pamela was great! She quickly answered all my questions, and included daily photos while Buffy was in her care. Buffy had a great time playing in the backyard with her dog, another golden retriever, and it was clear that Buffy got lots of attention. Pamela sent homemade treats home with Buffy, which she loves. We would rebook! Thanks for taking such good care of our much loved dog!”

“Christoper was fantastic with our two dogs. We use rover regularly and he has been one of the best so far. We had to book last minute for a trip to GA and he was nothing but helpful. We got regular updates and felt like the dogs were in great hands while we were miles away. They came back to us happy and in probably in better shape than when we left them. Highly recommend Christopher and his kids.”

“Highly recommend! Theresa clearly loves dogs and is a kind and patient caregiver. She has a great set up for them in her home and treated my pup like he was her own. Looking forward to having Theresa take care of my Buddy again in the future!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Katherine was amazingly patient when answering all my questions about what we should expect. Unfortunately during the stay, one of our dogs had a difficult time adjusting, but Katherine did everything she could to ease her anxiety and make her comfortable. By the end of the weekend, there was quite a bit of improvement for Jessie. They sent pics of them and the dogs having fun which I thoroughly enjoyed.”

“Frances and her family were great! She sent pictures of Rocky playing with other dogs, sleeping, etc. This was our first time having Rocky stay with someone else that wasn't family. He loved it. He was completely worn out from playing with other dogs. Also, they had a terrific fenced in yard that was great for our pup to run and play! I plan to book with her in the future!”

“Sam was great! Larry had an awesome time hanging out with them. They were very professional, responsive and caring. They treated Larry like he was one of their own. When future needs arise we will for sure contact Sam again.”

“Our puppers are exhausted!! Must have had a lot of play time! This is our second time with Derek and the care makes it easy for me to bring them somewhere other than having someone come and check on them. Thank you Derek.”

“Roman was fantastic watching our little Lilo. This was her second time staying with him and his family. They always are excited to have her. She gets walked and they send photos daily. Highly recommend”

“Terry and Chuckie did a fantastic job of taking care of our fur baby Sophie. Communicated very well and sent pics every day. You can tell they truly love dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Sylvia was fantastic. It was great peace of mind to leave him with her for a few days knowing he was going to be well taken care of. Our kids loved getting regular photos!”

I have ran and walked dogs no matter the weather. Visits and Stays will come with pictures, arrival and departure time, a map of where we walked/ran, and any notes of our adventure! “This is the first time we've used Rover. We do appreciate how responsive and dependable Caleb is. By mistake he received an inquiry message from me and was the very first one of the group I sent messages to respond. Because Caleb so quickly responded we chose him. He is a very nice man, communicative, personable and trustworthy too. We will request him again if needs arise in the future. Thank you Caleb! Jude”

“Allison was a great sitter and friend for Smitty for the three weeks we were out of town. There were many visits involved over this time period and Allison did a good job communicating with us about Smitty's various walks and play-times, what kind of mood he was in, whether he drank some water after play-time, and other info. She really cares about Smitty and enjoys the work. We highly recommend Allison!”

“Annette has been so patient getting to know our Lenny. We are so appreciative of her care and value her always going above and beyond. She even took time to communicate some storm damage information to us while we were away and we were thankful to have her help.”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover that is patient and nurturing to pets. I grew up with both dogs and cats. For years I have been a reliable and trustworthy person among family, friends, and neighbors. I have extensive experience checking in on pets and playing with them throughout the day, dog walking, and overnight pet/house sitting for a variety of cat and dog breeds. I also have experience administering medication to pets if needed. For example, one dog I’ve watched many times had a case of kennel cough/pneumonia and/or ear infection that required daily antibiotics and ear drops. I am extremely passionate about pets and giving them the best care possible to ensure they remain healthy, active, and happy. I take pride in providing excellent care and peace of mind for pet owners. I also like to take photos of the pets each day or so to send to their owners to keep them updated and ensure their well-being.

Transport avalible within 10 miles. Boarding: Available 7 days a week, year-round. Doggy Daycare: Available 7 days a week, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. “Samantha has completely exceeded our expectations and has been so wonderful to our puppy! She watched Felix every day for us this week and has been beyond helpful/flexible and amazing with our work schedules. She keeps me well informed and updated throughout the day and sends the CUTEST photos. So cute I’m going to have to get some of them framed. I know he’s been walked and has had sufficient play time just by how tired he is when coming home. With him being a puppy, he chews and gets into things he isn’t supposed to. I can tell from Samantha’s updates that she is patient and works with him on behavioral issues. We feel so fortunate to have found Samantha and are excited to take Felix back next week!”

“She was so good with Lahey!! He is such an active dog and needs alot of exercise, and she was able to give him all the play time he needed!!! Such a great lady and really cares for your pet as if it were her own!!!”

About: Hello, I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter who treats every animal as if they were my own. “Kristina is excellent! She met my somewhat timid Miniature Australian Shepherd and it was love at first pet! Bonnie was so happy to be loved and petted during our meet and greet that I knew Kristina was a great fit. Made room for us on short notice and sent pictures that warmed my heart. She is already booked again!”

About: As a former pet owner of two dogs and working at a vet office for eight years has given me hands on experience which I treasured. I’m that person who will remember a dogs name before the owners name. 🤪. I’m new to Rover and look forward to meeting new pets. I’m recently retired and would rather walk with a dog than alone. This would be a seasonal “job” which is more therapeutic than anything. I have been a responsible pet owner so doggy bags will be used and litter box cleaned. Taking care of pets is a joy for me.
About: I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood and enjoy a peaceful home environment. I work, stay active in my church, and love winding down with a good book or movie. I’m down-to-earth and will treat your dog like family. My daughter, who’s now abroad, used to dog sit and encouraged me to try it myself—knowing how much I love dogs, even though I’m not ready to have one full-time. I often helped her with dog sitting before she left, and truly enjoyed the companionship. It would be a blessing to care for your pet and offer you peace of mind. I’m flexible, reliable, and would have a great time making sure your dog feels safe and loved. I work hybrid, which means your pet will have plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I love taking regular breaks to go on walks, give belly rubs, or just relax with a furry friend nearby. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate feeding routines, bathroom breaks, and any special care your pet may need. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment with plenty of space for your dog to relax comfortably. While I don’t have a backyard, I take regular walks in safe, green areas nearby and always supervise outdoor time. I follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, and routines, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. Whether in my home or yours, I provide calm, attentive care to help your pet feel secure and loved.
About: What sets me apart is that caring for dogs and cats has always been a part of my life—not just a job. I’ve grown up around pets and truly see them as family members, so I understand how important it is that they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals. I also have hands-on experience from working at a dog kennel during high school, where I learned the importance of routine, cleanliness, and recognizing different pet personalities and needs. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy cat, or a senior pet who needs extra care and gentleness, I’m committed to making every pet’s time with me happy and stress-free. Pet care fits very well into my daily and weekly routine. I’m currently working at a doggie daycare, I mostly work in the afternoon. My schedule can be flexible but for the most part I have work from 12-6:30 in the afternoon. I enjoy structuring my days around feeding times, walks, play, and companionship so pets receive consistent attention. Ideally, I’m looking to do pet care part-time, which means I can be reliable, present, and attentive when pets need me rather than rushing through visits. I care for pets by closely following the owner’s instructions and routines to ensure consistency and comfort. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets receive plenty of love, patience, and compassionate attention. I focus on meeting each pet’s individual needs—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and quiet time—while making them feel safe and cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always aim to create a calm, positive environment.
“Caleb has been absolutely wonderful! He is great with Murph and is so kind with my aging parents as he picks up their dog to walk him every morning. He is always on time and Murph loves his time with Caleb!”

I’m confident, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing safe, loving care for every dog. I have open availability and am happy to accommodate your schedule to care for your pets whenever they need me! Anyway I can be of help is my pleasure. I provide trusted attentive care in clients’ homes, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering medications if needed, and giving lots of love and companionship. I love spoiling pets with affection, playtime, and care tailored to their unique personalities!
About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs my entire life, with hands-on experience supporting pets through all life stages and needs. Whether your pet requires medication management, specialized diet adherence, mobility assistance, or extra patience due to age or disability, I approach each animal as an individual deserving attentive, compassionate care. I don’t just follow instructions, I notice subtle changes in behavior, anticipate needs, and communicate proactively with owners so you have complete peace of mind while you’re away. I am currently working part time as a painter, part time with Rover, and volunteering for Harbor Humane, but worry not. I can make my schedule completely open for any pet care needs. I will rarely be unavailable. I prioritize your pet’s routine and comfort above all. Whether that means leash walks through your neighborhood, supervised backyard play in their familiar space, or respecting crating schedules you’ve established, I adapt to what works for your pet, not what’s easiest for me. I ensure fresh water is always available, meals are served on time, and any special instructions (door security, alarm codes, plant watering) are followed exactly. Beyond the basics, I make time for real connection like belly rubs, play sessions, or just calm companionship for anxious pets. You’ll come home to a pet who felt cared for, not just looked after.
About: I have grown up with animals my whole life! I absolutely love teaching them tricks, playtime and daily exercise. Quality care to keep happy pets! I have ton of free time to check up and play with your furry companions! I pick up what I can when I’m not working! :) I work hard to make sure your pets comfort and care comes first. Prioritizing their safety while having fun! And always treating pets like family!
About: Hi! I'm a recent Hope graduate & Assistant Manager of the Holland Cat Cove. Offering discounted rates as I begin this partnership with Rover! I am happy to care for any pet. Whether your pup is anxious, an escape artist, or the chillest ever, my standard of care will have them feeling right at home and loved like family. I tailor my approach to each pet's unique personality making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Staying calm in any situation is my superpower, so rest assured I'll always be at the top of my game. I love to make a genuine connection with every pet and owner I meet--so let's chat! My schedule allows enough flexibility to meet all of your needs! I can dedicate all the time needed to take care of your pets. Reach out and let's make something work. I always remain attentful of pets individual needs to make sure they're safe, comfortable, and happy. I've known some slippery dogs in my time; open doors or loose collars provide opportunity for escape, but I will always take safeguards to prevent such incidents. I won't take chances with your pets. Please let me know if you have any specific concerns with your pet's wellbeing while you're away. I want you to rest easy and feel reassured that your pet is receiving the highest level of care.
About: Hi! I'm Sami, and I am THRILLED to meet your loved one. ME AS A SITTER: My number one priority while caring for your loved one is their comfort. I believe having patience and allowing your pet to make the first move is important when first establishing a routine or any sort of bond. Anything you or your loved one needs for our time together, I'm there for it all! I have always had a passion for animals and find it an absolute blessing to spend time with any and all. WHAT I CAN DO: I am comfortable with pets of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. This includes pets that need medication, special dietary restrictions, or even pets that don't like to be too close but just need a little company- I'm just happy to meet your pet no matter what they need! MY PET BACKGROUND: I have experience housesitting with dogs/cats for up to a week. In this time, I maintained the house, watered plants, fed both cats and dogs, took care of trash and mail, etc. My family has had up to 8 dogs at once, ranging from puppy to senior. Now, we currently have 3 dogs and even a pet rabbit. I found a passion for training pets/encouraging good behavior, which led me to teach my pup tricks like roll over, bang bang, dance, etc., and we both loved every minute! We also took in a stray feral cat (was stuck in a car hood, long story), and for the past few months I have successfully worked hard to make a connection and bond with her! I do also help care for the cat in my home in Indiana. I have given pets medication many times, including wound care, vet visits, and special feeding instructions. I currently work part-time at a restaurant, with my shift typically starting at 3pm. My schedule does tend to shift around, but on days I do work, I am flexible with when I can watch your loved one and am willing to visit as much as possible before and after work. However, when I'm not working, I am more than happy to spend as much time with your pet as possible/wanted. While in your home, I will be around your pet 24/7, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I love playing with pets but can also enforce rules and regulations set up for your pet with ease. I can handle crating, leashing, feeding, picking up messes, and more. If housesitting, I am happy to assist in pickup and general house upkeep, including trash night, collecting mail, dusting, etc.

About: I provide an in-home pet care experience for families with dogs, cats, and other pets. I started offering services professionally in 2016, through word-of-mouth, while located in Grand Rapids. On a personal level, our family included both dogs and cats while raising our children, and I grew up in a family with dogs and cats as well. I joined Rover to help me connect with pet families upon moving to a new location. My schedule will revolve around your fur babies while I'm caring for them. I am a former dog and cat owner, and I want your pets to feel comfortable and have fun while you are away. I currently work from home (or anywhere) part-time so have the flexibility to prioritize your pets' care. I provide attentive care in your home, allowing your pets to stay in familiar surroundings. I love walking dogs around the neighborhood or to nearby parks for daily exercise. At home I'll provide snuggles and love between feedings. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors I might watch for.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a young girl, about 20 years now! I’m honored to meet new animals and gain their trust, showing them love, kindness, and fun! Animals really are so important to me, I’m a devout vegetarian and animal-advocate, with hopes to open a no-kill rescue in the future for all types of animals. I am a graduate student who works part time from home. My weekly routine is flexible and ready to fit your needs! Whatever works for you! I’ll care for your pet like my own. I go on long walks, know how to train dogs, and can take care of special needs.
About: My first job at 12 was dog walking/sitting but I have been a lifelong animal lover! I grew up with dogs and adopted my cat about 8 years ago. I have cared for both young and elderly dogs/cats as well as those with special needs and medical conditions. I am currently a stay at home mom with my five year old son. My availability is very open especially going into the summer months. Although I may not be able to do overnight stays at this time, I can do later evenings and earlier mornings. I do have a fenced in backyard that I can accommodate your pup with! I also have a dog in my home who is very friendly and would love play if you allow it. If not I will keep them separate. I can take your dog out to a local trail or walk them in your neighborhood. With cats I would be vigilant in keeping them away from open doors unless allowed. I know they love to explore small spaces and I take extra precautions to keep my girl safe! I love getting to know all the unique personalities of different cats, I love a good cuddle as well as some fun playtime. I have a special place in my heart for senior kitties.
About: My name is Emily and I absolutely love all furry friends! I used to have a rescue dog which was a papillon but sadly she became sick. :( I have also rescued a cat that we owned for couple months before finding him a forever home! I miss having a dog or pet around and would love to help care for your furry family member! I am a teacher so I am fairly open during the summer and still available on the weekends during the school year and some afternoons/evenings. Our family can still board your pup on Tuesdays-Thursdays but they would just have to go longer stretches before a walk on those days. I do have two sons who are 7 and 4 so I do ask that your pet be good with kids. They both absolutely love animals. The only breeds we are not comfortable with are pit bulls, boxers and Rottweilers. I am a very active person and love taking love walks and runs outside. Our family is not in a place to own a pet permanently right now, so we love taking care of other animals! Our yard is not fenced in but we provide multiple walks a day for your pup! We have had great success with this with our other dogs.

“Sylvia was fantastic. It was great peace of mind to leave him with her for a few days knowing he was going to be well taken care of. Our kids loved getting regular photos!”

About: I have pet sit, walked, ran, leash trained, and mentally stimulated dogs of all breeds since a kid. Each dog needs all of these things in different ways and I am here to figure that out to insure your pup and you get the best from me. I used to be under the LLC Dogs On the Run Grand Rapids, but life (two children, moving to Holland etc) put that on hold. I am now so excited to start giving Hollands furry family members what they need! I would love to meet you and work with you and your dog to give them the energy and visit or stay that they need! I have ran and walked dogs no matter the weather. Visits and Stays will come with pictures, arrival and departure time, a map of where we walked/ran, and any notes of our adventure! Send me a message and lets talk about your furry friend today! I am currently working, but that can be worked around your schedule and your pets needs. I am always willing to find the best scenario and schedule! For those going on walks and runs, we will work with what you use and what works best for your dog. All dogs are different. Also, what you want from your dog is different as well. If they need some leash training we can do that as well. My car is dog friendly, so if ball at the park is what they need, or a swim, I am down for that as well! Variety is the spice of life! For stays, I do have a dog of my own who is completely pet friendly, so of course our home is too! Any questions, Ask away :)
“Christina and her family took such great care of Oliver during our recent extended family vacation. Christina was an excellent communicator and was very flexible with adjusting Oliver’s care instructions when needed during his stay. We are so grateful that Oliver had a place to stay that gave him the same TLC he receives from us at home.”

“Daniel immediately hit it off with my boy Blue, normally Blue likes people but as soon as Daniel took his leash he was see ya later Dad. Daniel sent updates and pictures which I wasn’t expecting but appreciated. Also I loved the fact that blue got lists of exercise to to point he sleep for 12 hours. Highly recommend Daniel. “Amber was so sweet to our girl, Stella! We got pictures of them cuddled up next to each other and she told us about how she's doing (eating well, sleeping well). I appreciate the good care Amber provided.”

“Finley had a great time with Kristin and Dan and their daughter! He got lots of love and snuggles and seemed very comfortable in their home. We appreciated the pictures and the great communication, and we will definitely have Finley stay with them again in the future!”

“Addy did an amazing job taking care of my Chloe. I was worried since this is my first time using Rover. Addy helped by sending pictures and giving updates. My Chloe looked like she was having fun. I would definitely use Addy again.”

“My husband and I had to go out of town for a quick sat-sun trip and Kristina made us feel so comfortable leaving Mabel with her. She shared several photos throughout the weekend and we appreciated the one on one care she gave to our puppy. We hope to book with her again in the future! 😄”
