“This was our first time using Rover for one of our dogs so I was a little nervous. Janis sent pictures of our dog every day while we were gone. I felt very comfortable leaving Remy in her care. Our pup seemed happy and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend her to someone and will be reaching out again if we ever need a sitter. Thanks, Janis!”

“Shawne was great! She took care of our Winston for us over a long weekend and tolerated the fact he didn't like her kitties so much! He was a bit anxious at her house the first night, and she changed his surroundings and got him settled down for the 2nd night. I appreciate her watching our anxious boy!”

“Macy’s stay with Mary was a great experience! When we arrived, Mary & Marty, her husband, were organized and well prepared. Communication was speedy & I received numerous pictures. Highly recommend Mary!”

“I am so happy with Andrew. He has taken great care of my Einstein. It’s not easy sometimes with an 80# puppy with no manners!! I will definitely use him again.”

“Thank you Olivia for taking such good care of Rosey Girl. This was our first overnight away and we were very nervous dog parents. Olivia was very kind and reassured us while we were away by sending updates and photos. We will be repeat customers.”

“Jordan and her family took excellent care of my guy, even on short notice. She seemed willing to provide as many updates as necessary to make me feel comfortable, and was very enthusiastic describing their day and how he was acting. Couldn't have hoped for a better board!”

About: I've grown up living with dogs and have been the primary trainer for my family's dogs. I do pretty well working with new pets and can handle full size dogs. I'm an engineer who gets home from work around 4 or 5PM. My weekends are empty 3/4 weekends a month. I can do overnights on Sunday and during the work week if your dog is used to being alone 9-5. I have a small yard, and live next to the beach. I typically walk my dog to the beach 2-3 times a day on the weekend and she swims often. I usually use a harness to walk dogs, never leave them unattended outside since I have no fence. Make sure they have food twice a day and water always full.
“Thanks so much, Emily & Ryan! We appreciated all the picture updates, and Calvin obviously had a wonderful time. You guys were always quick to respond, helpful, and flexible. We hope to book again in future.”

“Lilliana was great and accommodated our change in schedule. Communication was fantastic from start to finish. She also took care of my pet's special needs..it was truly a pleasure to have Peachy in her care.”

“Catherine was amazing and gave me a peace of mind sitting Dilly! She is very warm and loving, and kept us informed the entire stay with plenty of pictures! Dilly was happy and energetic at pick up and felt at home with Catherine! We will definitely have Dilly stay with Catherine again!”

“I have never left my Thor with anyone but my family, but I was happily pleased with Gianniana. I received pictures and my dog was playing and having so much fun. She did a wonderful job of taking care of him and I really appreciate meeting her on Rover.”

“Victoria took really good care of Beans, kept me updated and always responded to my messages quickly. She was kind and had a great environment for pups. She took her for walks and let her sleep with her in the bed. Beans had a great time there!”

“We are so happy to have found Nancy and Mark. Our dog has stayed with them for 2 extended visits and has been well cared for. Our dog is quite anxious and not a good walker so having a small fenced in area to let her out is great. Nancy is very communicative during the stay and sends photo updates. We will continue to use for sure!”

“Flexible, conscientious and kind, Angelique cared for my dog as much as her own pets. She voluntarily provided updates which reduced my worries over leaving my dog for the first time. I will choose her with confidence the next time I need a dog sitter.”
“Natasha was great with my dog. He can be nervous with people he doesn’t know, so Natasha was very patient and sweet with him. She sent lots of pictures and videos which really put my mind at ease. Would definitely book with Natasha again!”

“Diana is outstanding! I was very nervous about leaving my kitties alone...it had been a long time since I'd been away and my girls are older. They warmed right up to her and she gave them loving care. I can't say enough about Diana....highly recommend!!”

“Shawne was very professional and great at communicating. She took great care of our two cats and sent check in pictures that brought us peace of mind! She even brought in my package for me. 10/10!”

“We had never used Liliana before, but we were really happy with how everything went. She was very professional from the start and took the time to meet with us and the cats ahead of the visits, which immediately made us feel comfortable. She was thorough during each drop-in and handled everything we asked for without any issues. Her updates were thoughtful and detailed, and we really appreciated the photos and notes about how the cats were doing each time she stopped by. Overall, it was a great experience. We felt confident leaving our cats in her care and would definitely use her again in the future.”

I'm currently working part time so I have a flexible schedule! I am available most weekends and during the week. I start a hybrid college course in January. “Chelsea dropped in daily to check on our cat while we were out of town. She quickly made friends with our cat and gave her plenty of love! Chelsea provided extensive updates and photos/videos, and was an excellent communicator, putting us at ease. We'll definitely reach out to her next time!”

About: Growing up my mom always told my family it was "either us or a pet" forbidding us to allow a pet inside. In her defense, she grew up in Europe, their pets were kept/lived outside, and she loves her house spotless. Ever since I can remember animals have had a huge place in my heart. All of the summer has been spent on the docks/marina in New Buffalo with that being said many boaters have dogs. The rule in the marina is that dogs are only allowed to use the bathroom by the railroad tracks, which is about a 15-minute process. So when I was about 8 I started a business on the docks and would take anyone's dog to go the bathroom/walk/play making it convenient for dog owners through The Moore marina. Ever since then, I have cat/dog sat while people have been out of town and in my college town take my friend's dog on a walk or to the dog park. This summer I will be in 10 semester hours for classes through the University of Iowa which is all online allowing me a very flexible schedule. My assignment will be assigned to me Monday and be due either Friday or Sunday night. In between watching lectures and doing homework taking a study break to play or go on a walk with a dog would be refreshing and fill me with happiness. When it comes to dog walking or playing, the most important thing is to ensure the safety and well-being of the pet. A checklist I made for myself to ensure the a safe and fun evirovernmnet : 1) Before starting the walk or play session, I make that the dog has had a chance to go to the bathroom and has access to water. 2) Choose a safe and appropriate area for the walk or play session. If walking in a neighborhood, make sure to use a leash and avoid busy roads or areas with heavy foot traffic. If playing in a park, make sure the area is fenced in and safe for dogs to run and play. 3) Monitor the dog's behavior and adjust the intensity of the walk or play session accordingly. Some dogs may need a more vigorous workout, while others may prefer a more leisurely pace. 4)Bring along water and treats for the dog to reward good behavior and keep them hydrated. 5) Always clean up after the dog by bringing waste bags and properly disposing of any waste. 6)After the walk or play session, check the dog for any injuries or signs of exhaustion. Give them a chance to rest and provide them with fresh water. Every dog is different, and it's important to me to tailor my care to the individual needs of the pet.

More characterized questions, such as walking area or what certain necessities your pet(s) needs can be discussed once I have contact/a schedule with you.

“Olivia is very sweet, I took my dog, Zoe,2 to her for daycare while we were on vacation. Zoe is a little timid around children and needs a fenced yard so this was a good fit for her. I was able to enjoy my vacation because I knew my baby was very well cared for.”

“Andrew and his dog, James, are great! LiLi went over for the day yesterday and when James dropped her off back home, at the end of the day, she stood by the door until she was sure he wasn’t outside anymore. I love knowing she’s happy when I’m at work!”

“The dogs went with Jeremiah happily and settled in well with him. He was flexible about when we dropped them off and when we picked them up, which was very helpful. His farm is a great environment for the dogs. We will definitely use his services again! He was great with them.”

“Calm energy, easy to work with, and super accommodating. I was nervous my dog would show signs of separation anxiety or show dominance with other dogs prior to daycare. Brianne's presence was so welcoming that my dog was happy to be there. She was also able to orchestrate a soft introduction to 2 other dogs boarding with her and my dog actually did really well. So grateful! Thanks Brianne!”

“Jordan was awesome. Very communicative and her house is set up well for dogs. She understood my needs and my dog needs and did great! I would highly recommend her to anybody”

“Great day - our pup came home tired and happy. Appreciated the communication about other dogs who would be there. Looking forward to using Summer for our weekend boarding needs!”

“Our dog Molly loved playing all day in the large fenced-in back yard. Michaelynn took great care of our youngest "child" so we could attend a wedding nearby. We would recommend this dog sitter completely without hesitation.”

“Kiana was great. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to bring our fur baby. However, the weather was extremely cold and my daughter and I wanted to go to the outlet mall but had no clue what to do with our pup. I reached out to Kiara and god a near immediate response. We were able to enjoy our trip and our pup was happy too. She got a walk and lots of love and attention and had a blast playing with her dog. She was nice and worn out for our long car ride home. Definitely recommend!”

“Lucy is so friendly and professional. Bella had a wonderful day and it was obvious by how tired she was upon returning home. I love the fact she had a great time socializing with other dogs. Thanks, Lucy!”
“Lilliana was wonderful with communication and flexibility. She has a very nice personality and I felt very confident leaving our senior Yorkie mix with her!”

For the last 6 years, I’ve taken care of family & friend’s dogs. My husband & I have a 80lb golden doodle (who is transitioning into his elder stage of life) so I understand the importance of daily walks, play dates, and proper grooming. I vow to apply the same care for your pet! I’m currently a server, so I work less than 30 hours a week & mainly evenings! We take our dog on daily walks, weekly baths, and administer the proper vitamins and ear care as he transitions into being an elder dog.

“Hanna and her family made Charlie feel right at home! They accepted his stinky shoe fetish and his desire for hands constantly petting with absolute open arms (his favorite). Her two fur babies welcomed him and left him absolutely exhausted and maybe a little depressed that there’s no one to play with in his own backyard. We will definitely be rebooking again! Thank you!”

“I am so happy with Andrew. He has taken great care of my Einstein. It’s not easy sometimes with an 80# puppy with no manners!! I will definitely use him again.”

“Kimberlee took the best care of our two dogs!! We received pictures and updates every day and they seemed so happy and loved! I am definitely going to rely on Kimberlee again to watch them when we go out of town!!”

“Meredith was just amazing. She handled my crazy dog along with her family and dogs like a champ. My pup seemed to greatly enjoy herself. Along with a happy pup, my dog came home with a few more manners. We will use her in the future for sure. 😊”

“Flexible, conscientious and kind, Angelique cared for my dog as much as her own pets. She voluntarily provided updates which reduced my worries over leaving my dog for the first time. I will choose her with confidence the next time I need a dog sitter.”
