About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. From the moment we met Jared and his sweet dog Charlie we knew Finn would be in good hands during our 10 day trip. It was such a comfort knowing that Finn had all his favorite things from home and that he was allowed on furniture just like at home. Jared was so great at communicating and shared photos often. We could tell that Finn was doing well. He was able to warm up and relax with Jared and Charlie. In the past when Finn stayed at a kennel he was so nervous and upset when he came home afterwards but when we brought him home after staying with Jared Finn was his same sweet self. We will definitely have Finn stay with Jared during any future trips we take. We’re so grateful to have found Jared and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”

About: Hello, and welcome to the Pup's Place, your dog's home when you're away from home. I have experience in dog walking and sitting, whether it be at your place or mine. My experience lies primarily with small and medium sized breeds but I can provide care for large breeds (40-100 lbs). I'll be honest, I joined Rover as a way to experience all the joys that a dog brings in life after losing my best friend who lived to 21 years old. I'm not ready to get another dog so I hope that caring for yours as I have cared for mine all her life can fill the hole inside my heart, as well as put you at ease knowing your dog is receiving the utmost love and care we both know they deserve. As for availability, I work full time midnight shifts (7pm-7:30am) at the hospital, 3 days a week. I can work around my schedule to meet your needs. “I cannot say enough about the awesome puppy-sitting experience I had with Stephanie and Scott (and their super great dog, Rosie)!! I am new to the Rover experience and had to leave my 13-week old puppy and was nervous about leaving. From the start, Scott and Steph put me at ease and even offered a meet up beforehand so we and our dogs could meet. I was updated daily, sometimes more, with video and photos and I could see immediately that my puppy was in the best hands I could imagine; it was like a vacation for my puppy, too! They really take an interest in making it a great experience and environment for their pet guest. About: I love all kinds of animals! I have a pointer/lab mix and mini dauschund of my own, and they are my tag alongs for all sorts of adventures! I also had a variety of frogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs when I was growing up. Most notably, my bearded dragon Cricket who lived to be 16 years old! Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full time teacher, so while weekdays do work, it would need to be around that sort of schedule during the school year. I can provide short term care on weekdays and more intensive care on weekends. During summer months I am wide open to provide care as needed. About: I have had pets of my own for the past 38 years, since I was 12 years old. I also have a degree in biology and chemistry and have worked in animal hospitals and zoos. My husband, Scott, has had pets all his life. We treat our pets with the love and care that family members deserve, and we take our responsibility to them very seriously. About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. It's not a good time to get another dog, but I know how to love and care for yours. I work from home and will handle the care of your dog.
“We couldn’t be happier with Jared and the care he provided for our anxious dog Finn! From the moment we met Jared and his sweet dog Charlie we knew Finn would be in good hands during our 10 day trip. It was such a comfort knowing that Finn had all his favorite things from home and that he was allowed on furniture just like at home. Jared was so great at communicating and shared photos often. We could tell that Finn was doing well. He was able to warm up and relax with Jared and Charlie. In the past when Finn stayed at a kennel he was so nervous and upset when he came home afterwards but when we brought him home after staying with Jared Finn was his same sweet self. We will definitely have Finn stay with Jared during any future trips we take. We’re so grateful to have found Jared and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”

“I cannot say enough about the awesome puppy-sitting experience I had with Stephanie and Scott (and their super great dog, Rosie)!! I am new to the Rover experience and had to leave my 13-week old puppy and was nervous about leaving. From the start, Scott and Steph put me at ease and even offered a meet up beforehand so we and our dogs could meet. I was updated daily, sometimes more, with video and photos and I could see immediately that my puppy was in the best hands I could imagine; it was like a vacation for my puppy, too! They really take an interest in making it a great experience and environment for their pet guest. Rosie was very gentle and tolerant of a very active, playful puppy and Sophie and Rosie are now best pals! We will definitely use Scott and Steph again without any hesitation!”
About: While your fur baby is in my care they get quality playtime, walks and love. I treat them like they are my own. You will also get daily updates and photos. Pet sitting is my full time job. This gives me plenty of time to play or walk your dog. I'm also able to do overnight visits, stays or boarding. I have a large yard and neighborhood to take nice long walks in. I also have a dog that loves to play and get along with others.

“Olivia was the best dog sitter we have used on this app! Our dog is typically very skittish and takes a while to warm up, but she did so good with Olivia and her husband. Not to mention they were extremely accommodating as my flights got cancelled twice attempting to come home. With having so much stress traveling Olivia made the situation so much easier because she continued to let us know Nyla was doing well and that she understood the circumstances and would be able to watch her longer than any of us anticipated. 10/10 would recommend and I know who will be at the top of our list for the next time we’re traveling!!!”
