I can take smaller dog with me to work (30#) or less. I have 30 wooded acres in the country. I have a large yard, not fenced but have a wireless collar system if I need to use it. I’m comfortable with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, basic medications, and keeping an eye out for any changes in behavior while you’re away. I’m also happy to spend some extra time just hanging out with them so they have company even if that means we sit on opposite sides of the room and pretend we aren’t friends yet. My goal is to keep your cat’s routine as normal and stress free as possible while you’re gone. About: I have dogsat for friends and family since I was a kid, I worked at a doggy daycare (Paws In The City) in highschool. My family has raised 2 litters of golden retrievers, so I am familiar with how to train and housebreak puppies from a young age. I live with 2 dogs and 3 cats, all with very different energy levels and personalities, I will adjust to your pet's unique needs and routines! I am a student at CMU, so during the semester I will be gone during the morning for classes. I stop by to check on pets during lunch time, and then head back to campus. On weekends I can stay with them the whole day, taking dogs on a hike if the weather is nice, or staying in and playing on my study breaks. I have a pretty open schedule, so I will have a lot of time to spare for pet care. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if you need, or just stop by regularly throughout the day. I will follow your instructions, and make sure your pets stay fed, safe, and happy while you are gone! I have a lot of hiking trails I want to explore, if you are comfortable with me taking your pup on a fieldtrip. If not, I am happy to walk in your neighborhood and stay closer to home.
