“I think that Maggie and Luddy had a great stay. It was so nice to have the photos of them enjoying their time with Julie and Joe. They seemed to be quite comfortable in their new surroundings by the time I picked them up the next day. In the past, Luddy had had a sitter at the house, but this was Maggie's (10-month-old puppy) first experience being away from home overnight. Since I presently do not have a fenced yard, it was great for them to have access to a yard for play without having to be leashed. Julie and Joe seem to truly enjoy having dogs visit with them, and they take good care of them and help them to feel at home. I am so grateful.”

Additionally, I have experience taking care of my parent's diabetic cat, when they went out of town, which included giving him insulin shots twice a day, so I am comfortable with some medical needs' animals. My cat, Penny, is technically a senior cat, and she remains very healthy and happy! I also have experience taking care of my friends' senior dogs overnight when her and her family went out of town. As well as my own senior dog, Bentley, who has passed away. It has been a few years, but my heart is still too broken to think about welcoming a dog into my home for forever, but I so miss having a dog's company, so, temporary will have to do for now! I know just how much I loved my dog and wanted to protect him and keep him happy & healthy as long as possible, and I promise to treat your pets the same. I was also the proud owner of 4 chickens when I lived in Florida. They were the greatest entertainment! By the time I moved to Michigan, there was sadly only one remaining chicken, I didn't want to confuse her with the weather change, so of course she became a house chicken. She got to live her last two years living inside the house, cozy as can be, with me, my dog & cat. We all loved it! Long story short, I'm also available for farm animal sitting. About: I grew up on and farm and I’ve had animals my whole life. I believe animals make the best company. As of right now I only have a grand puppy. I recently lost my mini schnauzer she was 17 so I may be adding a new member to our family soon. I would like to spend sometime with your animals and spoil them. About: Devoted and die-hard dog Momma over here! I have a Muttley crew of dogs including Labrador Retrievers and Pitt Bull mixes. My pack includes senior aged dogs through to young dogs. I have dedicated the last couple years to fostering dogs and absolutely fallen in love pivoting my world in the direction of companion pets. From all the updates she sent, I could tell my girl was relaxed and just being welcomed to be herself. It was clear from the photos provided that Natalie was getting right on her level and that Greta felt secure. I was late droping-off and picking up, but Natalie was so flexible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. Greta was so calm when I picked her up, when normally she seems a little frantic to be back with me (even at my mom's)-- if you're looking for a chill place for your pet to feel at ease, this is it. Natalie also asked a lot of important questions when I dropped off Greta which made it clear she was thinking ahead and trying to create an environment that my girl could be happy in. I'm so appreciative of Natalie's considerate approach.”
About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, and they have enriched my life so much. I volunteered at animal shelters, working with dogs of all kinds, and socializing with the cats. I regularly walked dogs and was a dog/house sitter for over a year, then took a brief hiatus while I was working full time and am getting back into dog sitting now that I have a house of my own, and can offer boarding services! I have also had two puppies over my life that I helped raise and take care of into their old age. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend loving your critters, and my partner works fully remote so he is available to let dogs in and out while I am gone! About: Dogs and cats have been part of my family my whole life! I have also been a dog sitter for over 10 years. A few years ago, my husband and I raised 6 puppies from birth until they went to their new homes at 10 weeks. We currently have three dogs: Ash (Siberian Husky), Koda (Australian Shepherd), and Hickory (Husky-Australian Shepherd mix) who we love to play with, take for walks, and run around in the backyard. About: Hello, my name is Amanda! I would be honored to provide peace of mind, knowing your home & pets are safe and cared for, while you are away, during the day or longer. I offer drop in visits, dog walking, doggy daycare, boarding and house sitting. Additionally, I have experience taking care of my parent's diabetic cat, when they went out of town, which included giving him insulin shots twice a day, so I am comfortable with some medical needs' animals. My cat, Penny, is technically a senior cat, and she remains very healthy and happy! I also have experience taking care of my friends' senior dogs overnight when her and her family went out of town. As well as my own senior dog, Bentley, who has passed away. It has been a few years, but my heart is still too broken to think about welcoming a dog into my home for forever, but I so miss having a dog's company, so, temporary will have to do for now! I know just how much I loved my dog and wanted to protect him and keep him happy & healthy as long as possible, and I promise to treat your pets the same. I was also the proud owner of 4 chickens when I lived in Florida. They were the greatest entertainment! By the time I moved to Michigan, there was sadly only one remaining chicken, I didn't want to confuse her with the weather change, so of course she became a house chicken. She got to live her last two years living inside the house, cozy as can be, with me, my dog & cat. We all loved it! Long story short, I'm also available for farm animal sitting. About: For the past ten years I’ve worked in the area as a veterinary assistant and also have experience in dog daycare and grooming. I enjoy developing relationships with pets and their humans! Being a home away from home is an huge honor to me. I am currently available during weekdays for daycare. I have a great space at my home and neighborhood to keep your dog company for the day. I am now doing pet sitting from my home and able to stay at your home. Whatever your pet is most comfortable with! I have a fenced in yard and my own dog that would love to play. I also have a great neighborhood to explore with your pet. The latest pick up time is 6:30pm but can accommodate if something comes up.
