About: I'm a very active person and love hiking and running with my Vizsla. My dog is 10 years old and loves bones, balls and swimming. She loves running in the woods and smelling all that nature has to offer. My cat is very much like a dog and gets along with dogs who are respectful and not overzealous. She will "hold her ground and hiss if strange dogs come running at her. I live on a dead-end road and am 1 of 5 households on the street. I'm located near the bike path in Harvey and my dog gets exercised daily. I'm happy to accommodate any exercise needs that your pet may have. If you have a high-energy dog, I can even bike to run them. I've had high-energy/prey dogs (Weimeraner and 3 Vizslas) for over 25 years and am very versed with dogs that need a high amount of exercise. If your pet prefers to just cuddle up I would enjoy that too. I'm currently working full-time with the flexibility to make trips home for potty breaks. While I'm gone from home, I would require your dog(s) to be in a kennel which I can provide (for the safety of my cat who has full run of the house). Dog must be good with cats (no bookings with dogs that aren't verified cat friendly). Potty time would be leashed as well as any exercise that would be needed. Please understand that your pet may have wonderful recall for you, however, they may not for me. For their safety, they will be leashed during walks and runs. My home is a ranch style with only one step to get into the home and many orthopedic beds throughout the house, if you have an elderly dog they will be quite comfortable :) I require that you have established veterinary care in the area and provide emergency contact information. About: My entire childhood there was always a dog or two in the house. I grew up with 5 different English setters that I helped take care of as starting as young as 10 years old. Being the high energy dogs that they are, I became well acquainted with daily walks and lots of attention and care. Today I’m the proud father of a 3 year old golden doodle named Winston. Despite being a couch potato he also loves the beach, camping, and could play fetch until his legs gave out. I’ve been working for home for 5 years now as a project manager, which has allowed me to proved constant care and attention to Winston and my parent 3 English setters whenever they have been out of town. Living just outside of downtown Negaunee, my neighborhood is dog friendly and the perfect place for a walk. I also offer a medium sized fenced in backyard, which is perfect for fetch and play time. I work from home M-F, so I’m always home and available to provide care. I also have a 3 year old golden doodle that I’m caring for fully time each day. I have a medium sized fenced in back yard with a covered porch. It is the perfect size for short distance fetch and playtime. Plus the porch offers some shade from the sun if they enjoy sitting outside and people watching.

Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

I will walk your pet, give them regular potty breaks, and willing to administer any medication if needed. I will be sure to practice proper leash practices while out of the home!

About: I’ve had pets and taken care of animals my entire life. I’ve always had cats- my first cat I got when I was three, and I’ve been the primary caretaker for them since. I’ve also had bunnies, dogs, hamsters, and fish! In my hometown (Madison, WI) I was always the go-to pet caretaker. I’ve walked and house sat all kinds of dogs, cats, and other furry friends. Being around animals is something I value a lot! I work part time at Ore Dock Brewery in the summer, and am a nursing student at NMU during the school year! I have lots of free time and am super flexible. I am caring, fun, and perceptive to what your animal needs. I am willing to go on long walks, play catch, cuddle, work on training, groom, or anything else you or your animals wants! I am confident in my ability to keep your pet safe and happy.

My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

About: As long as I can remember I have loved animals of all kinds. I have been pet sitting/walking for around five plus years and also house sitting and babysitting. I worked at a dog kennel/ daycare for the summer and gained lots of experience walking, grooming, and taking care of dogs of all kinds. I also have experience with horses and have been riding most of my life. As a college student that is obviously my first priority but I have a pretty free schedule so pet sitting should fit very smoothly into both my daily and weekly routine. I only offer my services in the clients home as I live in the dorms. I am also available for dog walking and mid day check ins

About: I'm a very active person and love hiking and running with my Vizsla. My dog is 10 years old and loves bones, balls and swimming. She loves running in the woods and smelling all that nature has to offer. My cat is very much like a dog and gets along with dogs who are respectful and not overzealous. She will "hold her ground and hiss if strange dogs come running at her. I live on a dead-end road and am 1 of 5 households on the street. I'm located near the bike path in Harvey and my dog gets exercised daily. I'm happy to accommodate any exercise needs that your pet may have. If you have a high-energy dog, I can even bike to run them. I've had high-energy/prey dogs (Weimeraner and 3 Vizslas) for over 25 years and am very versed with dogs that need a high amount of exercise. If your pet prefers to just cuddle up I would enjoy that too. I'm currently working full-time with the flexibility to make trips home for potty breaks. While I'm gone from home, I would require your dog(s) to be in a kennel which I can provide (for the safety of my cat who has full run of the house). Dog must be good with cats (no bookings with dogs that aren't verified cat friendly). Potty time would be leashed as well as any exercise that would be needed. Please understand that your pet may have wonderful recall for you, however, they may not for me. For their safety, they will be leashed during walks and runs. My home is a ranch style with only one step to get into the home and many orthopedic beds throughout the house, if you have an elderly dog they will be quite comfortable :) I require that you have established veterinary care in the area and provide emergency contact information. I currently have two dogs of my own, a 13 year old rescue Mini Australian Shepherd and a 7 year old Border Collie mix. I work from home which allows me to spend lots of time with my fur babies! Our home in Skandia, MI is just 20 minutes from Marquette, so if you are traveling to the area and need dog care for just the day or longer, please reach out.
