Catherine kept the dogs entertained with frequent walks to the park next door and plenty of play time. She paid careful attention to our instructions to reinforce our training. Catherine handled a kerfuffle between our dogs wonderfully, separating them as soon as it happened and attending to their needs right away. She communicated clearly throughout. “Wow - Anna was an amazing sitter! We were a little nervous leaving our pup (Uki) with a new person, but right from the start, we knew she was in for a great experience. Even before we booked, Anne agreed to have my husband come to her house to allow Uki to get acclimated/make sure it was a good fit. My husband instantly felt at ease with Anne and had no concerns leaving Uki with her. During our vacation, Anne sent us daily photos and *the most adorable* daily status updates on how Uki was doing. She went out of her way to make Uki special treats, accommodate her dietary preferences, allowed her on her sofa, and took her on long walks, and showered her with attention. We had one week before our event, and to make it even worse, it was Memorial Day weekend. Rover sent a list of drop-in sitters to help. Kelena responded very quickly to our request. Had a very successful meeting, the dogs loved her! On the day of the event, she came at the appointed time, sent pictures of our dogs, so we knew she got in okay, and fed and watered them. About: I love animals. I grew up with a German Shepard and horses and ponies. We had a Black Lab when my Children were school age whom we adored. I have had large dogs including Rottweilers, Black Lab, Shepard's, and Huskies and taken care of small dogs too including poodles and dachshund's. My neighbors have Two Golden Retrievers whom I spend time with and visit me daily. I have a large yard and I love to play with the dogs and walk dogs. I have a medical background with humans and I am a stickler about safety. I once took care of a cat that needed antibiotics through a tube in his leg. I can safely give medicines to pets. I work from home part time so I have plenty of time to exercise and play with your pup. I live on a country road with lots of good things to sniff. I have a ranch style home in a big yard with lots of shade trees. I will leash your dog if needed when they go outside and stay with them to play. I write music for a living so the times I’m away from home will be for premieres and other things but I’ll update my availability to reflect my summer travel (which isn’t a lot). I can administer medications, I will take them on frequent walks, feed them on their schedule, and have plenty of play time. I have a loving and sweet fur baby named Blossom who is a toy poodle/ bichon frise mix. She is comfortable around dogs and cats and if anything is a little shy. She’s not crate trained so I’d allow your pet to roam freely through the house. Anything I do for Blossom is what I’d do for your baby unless you tell me otherwise, and she’s treated like a princess! I know visits away from home can be a little stressful for your fur baby, but rest assured I can handle any situation and make sure your baby feels at home. Expect many pictures and videos! I live a little bit outside of Ann Arbor but getting to me from Ann Arbor would be a short drive. My neighborhood is very dog friendly so it will be no problem! I care for my pet A LOT throughout the day, so walks, feeding, play time, anything is completely a part of my daily routine. I take Blossom on walks numerous times a day so if you have a pet that isn’t house trained yet, I think having her around will be helpful for them to learn how. If in my home, everything is already safe for pets to be there. I don’t have any carpet so I’m not concerned about pet messes, I can clean them up easily. I’m very attentive to my own pet and would be just as attentive to your fur baby. I’d invite you to come see my place before your pet’s stay to see if it’d be a good fit. Richard and Sarah have been fantastic with Guinness and he enjoys his time there. A little out of the way to get him there but worth it because of how great Richard and Sarah are with our boy.”

About: Since I was a little girl I've on and off cared of peoples pets and also had my own all my life. I've had a cat for 17 years that I saved when she was 4 weeks old. I've cared for dogs in labor. I have experience with all types of dogs & love animals. I'm reliable & responsible & also have a 3 year old & a 1 year old who loves animals just as much as me. I am a stay at home mom so I'm pretty flexible! We live in a quite low traffic neighborhood and would love to take some pups for walks and to play! Your dog will always be accompanied & on a leash for all outdoor activities. I have dog beds & toys to keep them playing & comfy. I have an acre yard that is partially fenced in. I have a quad level home so if I needed a gate to separate the levels too I also could do that. We live next to the Huron River so walks to the river is always fun also.

About: I have had animals my whole life and couldn't live without them, healthy, sick, energetic, lazy, you name it. I love taking care of them, loving them, playing and snuggling with them. I work from home and have a fenced in yard. I am available during the week from as early as 6am to 6pm. Our dogs are free to go outside anytime, weather permitting. I am home to let them in and out the 100 times a day they bark to go out ;). I will only dog sit for one family I have a fenced in yard. My pets are never left outside when we leave the house. I do offer over-night stays. Dogs are welcome to sleep in any room they feel comfortable in. Most sleep in our living room or next to my bed. I do not have a crate to put them in. If your pet is crate trained and requires a crate, we just ask that you bring yours with you for them to sleep in if that's what they are used to.

I try to keep things low-stress and stick to your dog’s normal routine as much as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, or exercise needs. My dog is friendly, and comfortable around other dogs, but I always prefer slow introductions to make sure we'll be a good match. About: I’ve always had a dog or cat in my home! Growing up we always had a Golden Retriever :) My most recent dogs were two senior Chihuahua sisters I adopted and one Olde English Bulldog. They have all crossed the rainbow bridge and though I’m not ready to get another pet, I miss having them in my life. One of my seniors had diabetes so I’m trained at administering insulin as well. I’m a stay at home mom of two little boys I share with their dad, though when I have dogs stay with me they stay with their father. For boarding, I live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of other dogs and great sidewalks for strolls or power walks if needed. I enjoy going for daily long walks myself would love the company. For walks at your home, I never skimp on time outside or if weather doesn’t permit, extra fun and love inside.

About: My husband & I grew up having both dogs & cats. Neither of us have professional experience. However, we have watched family members or neighbors pets on top of taking care of our own (2 y.o. Beagle & x2 7 y.o. cats) We both value talking to animals & providing them with whatever environment they prefer, be it more playtime, a shady quiet napping spot, or sun bathing. As most know cats can’t necessarily be trained but nevertheless ours are well behaved. They do have their claws but they have never scratched or bitten (unless playfully) anyone. Our beagle is also well behaved, albeit goofy, & trained with Whole Hearted peanut butter treats. We do still currently have a cage but it is very rare we use it, mostly from when she was a younger puppy. Our animals do fine around others. The cats have an escape to the basement with a gate so if they are crabby will go there. Our dog will sometimes make the classic beagle howl at first but is never a threat. I am home most of the time. We have a child under the age of 1 but she is generally excited by all dogs & cats. My schedule is flexible. If there is someone who would like to make long term arrangements that would be okay to discuss. We live in a neighborhood off a dirt road with a decent sized back yard. There is no fence. We put our dog on a chord if she is unattended but usually will also be outside. There are trails going all around the neighborhood that are perfect for dog walks. We have a farm behind our house that has 2 horses gated in. They are friendly & our dog will get excited if anything. There are multiple households in our neighborhood with dogs. Inside the house, dogs will have lots of choices when it comes to resting spots; sunny or more dark quiet spaces.

About: My whole life I have had dogs. When I was little a yellow lab, and now a very large charcoal lab, his name is Finn in my profile picture, he’s my best bud. Also added another furry friend to our mix, a red golden retriever, her name is Sadie. I also have four cats, one big orange tabby, a calico, and two black cats. My heart is full of love for animals and I would treat yours like my own. I dog sit for my grandparents as well, and friends as needed. I had the honor of helping train my grandmas dog and Finn as well. Simple things like learning to sit and stay but still important! I am currently home for the summer from college. I attend Ferris State and will return in the fall. So, I am just looking for a part time gig for the summer! Besides one vacation in June I am completely free for all potty breaks, walks, etc during the week. I have two dogs at home if a stay at my home is needed, I have leads available for use as well. We also have a fairly large crate used for our golden when she was a puppy, so your pet can be crated if necessary! My pups are very friendly and would love the extra company! I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! I often take my dogs with me to the store when I can and sometimes stop for a pup cup.
