After losing my last dog at 17, I would love to provide care, love and walks for yours. I work from home and set my own appointments outside of the home so I can determine precisely when I'll be home. Although I don't have a fenced yard we have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs should be able to free roam as I don't currently have a crate; or you can provide a crate. Please bring any special toys, bed, etc. that will help your dog acclimate!

If you want to know more I can talk about him for days. I used to watch pups for teachers, coaches, and family members before I moved out and got my pup! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes and would love to get to spend time with your pup too. I have a fenced in yard, love taking dogs for walks and playing with them. They will always have a blanket and bed to lay on and lack nothing with me. I work a hybrid schedule right now, so I’m usually available around lunch times or in a pinch to go make an appearance for your pup and make sure they’re taken care of. Depending on your needs I can usually be flexible with my time to make things work. I'm thoroughly experienced in caring for senior dogs & cats, administering medications, first aid, & wound care. I've fed numerous specialized diets, including fully raw. I adore the puppy stage- including crate training, potty training, & socialization. I'm a strong advocate for socialization that bolsters confident neutrality. A puppy's endless curiosity is so fun to harness! I enjoy giving dogs a balance of outdoor exercise like hiking, as well as indoor mental enrichment like games and puzzles. A tired dog is a happy dog! I train dogs part time & homeschool my daughter- which lends me a great deal of flexibility in my schedule. I can often accommodate short notice requests. Your beloved pet's safety is critical to me. I'm extremely cautious with opening & closing doors so no animals can slip through a door, check the fit of a dog's collar to prevent potential backing out, & ensure there's nothing a pup or kitty could get into thats potentially dangerous. I have a very strong preference for using martingale collars on dogs for walks to mitigate that risk. I've personally endured the tragedy of my young dog slipping the door and being hit by a car while a sitter was taking care of him- so I assure you I take this very seriously. Building trust with both owners and their pets is pivotal! I'm committed to open communication and honesty. I allow pets to greet me on their terms and understand some animals need a more patient, gentle approach than others. I strive to create a positive, calm environment for your pets- and once I'm trusted by them, I will add the playfulness and affection they deserve!

Then feed. Then I take care of myself. Relax, go for a long walk with them or run. I am free most days and weeks. I have 30 acres of fence in yard. I have a horse pasture I made it where the dogs can't get out they also have a indoor area where they can relax in shade. And water 24/7.
About: Hi! I have three dogs, Poppy, Bentley, & Harley, who are considered part of my family. I would treat your pets like they were one of my own. I am very flexible and can usually accommodate if needed on short notice. I currently pet sit for a few people and can provide references upon request. You will get pictures and any other updates while you are gone. I offer walks, play time and love. I am happy to do meet and greets to answer any questions you may have. I really appreciated their fenced yard and their flexibility and understanding that my dog was not perfectly trained, she still jumps and does not go for walks calmly. It was clear that Jenna's family was going to provide the same loving attention and lots of activity (playing with their dogs) my dog receives at home.
