About: Hello! I'm a student at NMU with tons of dog care experience! I've had three family dogs that I've taken care of, and I've walked, dog sat, and bathed many dogs for family/friends over the years. I volunteered at my local dog shelter for a summer where I walked, played with, and helped socialize the dogs, which was SUCH a rewarding experience. I am a huge animal lover, and I promise to treat your pets with love, energy, and care. Fun fact, I love dogs so much that I went on a dog podcast this summer! About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. I can accommodate their particular needs to keep them safe, happy and well cared for!
About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. About: I love all kinds of animals! I have a pointer/lab mix and mini dauschund of my own, and they are my tag alongs for all sorts of adventures! I also had a variety of frogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs when I was growing up. Most notably, my bearded dragon Cricket who lived to be 16 years old! Additionally, I have experience pet-sitting and dog walking for family members as well as friends and neighbors. I have helped friends with their chickens and other farm animals as well! About: I have had pets of my own for the past 38 years, since I was 12 years old. I also have a degree in biology and chemistry and have worked in animal hospitals and zoos. My husband, Scott, has had pets all his life. We treat our pets with the love and care that family members deserve, and we take our responsibility to them very seriously. Currently, we have a 2 year old black lab who absolutely loves all other animals, and a 14 year old cat who mostly sleeps in quiet, dark places. About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! I treat every pet as if they were my own and always do my best to provide reliable, attentive care. If you’re looking for someone dependable who genuinely cares about animals, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I’m currently in an on call sort of situation, so my schedule is very flexible! I ask that we at least get a few days advance notice due to a fluctuating schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. Through my experience caring for pets and volunteering at a local animal shelter, I’ve worked with animals of many different temperaments and understand the importance of patience, awareness, and safe handling. I always make sure pets are secure on walks, monitored during playtime, and given plenty of attention and care. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have for feeding, medications, routines, or training. I believe communication is very important, so I’m glad to send updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. I can accommodate their particular needs to keep them safe, happy and well cared for!
About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. It's not a good time to get another dog, but I know how to love and care for yours. I work from home and will handle the care of your dog.
