I have extensive experience with medically needy dogs, Iggys, Beagles and other hunting hounds. I'm currently pet free after my Iggy passed last year and Rovering to help pets and their owners. I'm used to handling dogs that are high energy but can't physically handle a large muscular dog that jumps or pulls hard while walking. Senior/calmer large dogs are fine. About: My fiancé and I just moved to Eaton rapids not too long ago, we recently got our puppy in June and he is a wild guy. His name is Loki and he is a lab mixed with German shepherd so he’s got quite the personality. He loves people and other animals but sometimes can be a little extra crazy when he’s playing. If you have specific requests to keep them separated if I look after your fur baby I can. I currently have a job right now but I am looking for other jobs to take on for a little while, trying to save some extra money for my wedding next year! I have a friendly dog he just can get a little crazy and jumpy when’s he is playing. If I need to I can keep the pets separate so each have their own space. I do live in the city but I have a decent amount of yard for the dogs to run around or walk around on their leash.

Because I work from home full-time, my schedule naturally revolves around the pets in my care. Since we host only one household at a time, your pet becomes a seamless part of our daily home routine rather than just a quick check-in. Here is what a typical day looks like with us: Morning: We start the day with a morning walk and breakfast to burn off some early energy before I log on for work. Workday: While I’m at my desk, pets love to nap by my feet or cozy up nearby. We take regular breaks throughout the day for backyard playtime in our fully fenced yard, potty breaks, and belly rubs. Afternoon: A mid-day walk or enrichment session to keep their minds active and happy. Evening: After work, I usually head out for a yoga class (about two - 3 hours total), while my husband is often home or we coordinate so your pet is never left alone for long. The rest of the night is for relaxation-dinner, a late evening stroll or yard play, and plenty of couch cuddles before bed. My husband and I treat every guest like family, ensuring they feel secure, comfortable, and loved from the moment they arrive. Here is how we care for your pet in our home: A Safe & Secure Environment: With a fully fenced yard, a pet-free house, and no outside animals coming in, your pet can freely explore and relax without any territorial stress. Maintaining Their Familiar Routine: We follow your exact instructions for feeding times, potty schedules, walks, and house rules so your pet stays in their normal rhythm. Comfort & Personal Space: Whether your dog loves cuddling on the couch or your cat prefers a quiet, cozy corner in our home office while I work, we adapt to whatever makes them feel most at ease. Constant Attentiveness: Because I work remotely and it’s just the two of us here, your pet gets continuous supervision, gentle interaction, and immediate attention whenever they need to go outside or play.
About: I've taken care of dogs both large and small breed since I was a kid for myself as well as other family members. Beyond dogs, I grew up raising cattle and have had various small animal pets as well. Currently have a Black Lab (Cruz), who is a gentle giant. I work full-time, but I'm willing to spend my lunch break with your pup. I also have the ability to care for your pup in the evening if needed. Walks, drop-ins, etc! Just let me know how I can help. Each pet has its own "vibe" in my opinion. Prior to caring for your pet, I would ask some questions to help me better understand THEM and their needs. When it is time to take care of them, I would do my best to ensure that they know I'm safe and simply want to be their buddy. Some pets aren't so trusting at first (grew up with a Black Lab like this), so it may take time....and that is perfectly okay. My goal is not to overload them, and let them warm up to me at their own pace.
About: When I meet someone on the street it's usually because I saw their dog first and wanted to pet it. I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a little kid. From St. Bernards to Rat Terriers and everything in between, I'd love to keep your pet company or take them out to burn off some energy, whatever they may need. I am a homemaker and stay at home mom. My schedule is flexible, just need a day or two notice in order to make a commitment. we have a corgi mix in our house currently, as well as a rescued cat. At this time I am not able to have another dog in my home.
