Franklin is a kitten with seemingly endless energy and it looked like she was able to get him to calm down. She provided videos throughout the day that showed Hobey playing with other dogs, doing tasks that would merit him a treat, and relaxing after some playtime in the backyard. It was nice to see the vids and to see him have a good time. I took him there 3 days in a row and each time he would get excited as we pulled up to her house which made me feel good. I could tell he had an active day when I picked him up cause we would get home and I would feed him and he would sleep for the rest of the night. I was only in Michigan for a week but I will be back to visit family and I will always use Rachel.”

About: If i had 100 fenced acres i would probably have 100 dogs. First hand experience with Golden Retrievers, Boxers, Dobermans, Cocker Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Schnauzers, Irish Wolf Hounds, Terriers and Yorkies. I periodically raise and train Golden Retrievers for Leaderdogs for the Blind. If i am completely blocked off for a couple weeks i am probably hosting a leaderdog puppy for another raiser that is on a vacation. I have a lot of repeat customers and look forward to seeing their dogs get excited when they pull into my driveway. It would be tough but if i had to pick the breed i couldn't live without i would put Goldens at the top. Even though i don't let any dogs on my bed i’m known for sleeping on the floor in the living-room with the dogs.

About: I volunteered all throughout my high school years at the humane society and still try my best to help out and donate when I can. I have three pets, and have had many more in my life and hope to have even more when I’m given the proper opportunity and safe environment. From our first interaction, it was clear that he is very experienced with dogs and genuinely enjoys caring for them. I have a high-energy Border Collie/Aussie mix, and he handled him wonderfully. He got plenty of attention, exercise, and care, and I could tell he was comfortable and happy during his stay.
