About: Hi! I’ve loved animals my whole life and have cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, from old to young. I’ve also had a cat for many years in my life, so I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats! I love spending time with animals, going on walks with them, playing with them, and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I’d be excited to meet your furry friend! I am currently a CCA at USPS, so summer can be slow at times, and I normally have mornings until about 12 pm available and any time after 7 or so available. Saturday nights and Sundays are the only days of the week on a week to week bases that I can guarantee that I will be available for overnight and all-day care. I currently don't have any of my pets living with me, but occasionally they come over from Lansing and hang out with me, and we walk around the city, go to some of my secret walking spots scattered around detroit and just hang out. Its a good time!

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had my family dog, Chutney, for over 10 years, and taking care of him is really what got me into dog sitting. I did Rover throughout college and absolutely loved it, and after taking a break during the pandemic, I’m excited to be offering my services again. Since moving to Detroit, I’ve spent the past three years dog sitting and caring for many wonderful pups. I previously worked fully remotely, and while I’m now hybrid, my schedule is still very flexible. Right now, I’m only in the office once a week for a couple of hours, and starting in July 2026 I’ll be in the office three days a week. The good news is that I get to choose my own hours, so I won’t be gone all day just a couple hours! This flexibility allows me to continue giving pets plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and care throughout the day. Pet care fits pretty easily into my daily routine because I currently work a hybrid schedule and only go into the office once a week for a couple of hours. Starting in July 2026, my schedule will shift to three in-office days per week, but I’ll still only need to be there for a couple of hours each day. I also live with my partner, who is great with dogs and typically home during the day since he works evenings, so there’s usually someone around to keep your dog company and cared for while I’m briefly in the office. This gives us plenty of flexibility to follow your dog’s routine, provide lots of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I also make time for at least two walks a day, along with regular check-ins, feeding, and anything else your dog may need to feel happy and comfortable. I make it a priority to make sure your dog always feels safe and comfortable. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I give plenty of extra cuddles, attention, and quality time so they feel secure and loved while you’re away. You can trust that your pet will be in good hands.
About: It took almost 20 years, but I finally made my Nintendogs dreams come true when I got my own little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. About: We took care of our beloved dog for all 12 years of her life. Our house is fully equipped to give your dog a comfortable stay, including a fenced in back yard. And our kids will make sure your dog is entertained and well-loved. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my husband and I are both gone at work from 7:30am-5pm. So ideally, your dog would be comfortable being alone for an extended period of time if they are with us on those days. All the other days of the week, someone will be home. We have a large house, designated pet area within the home, and a fenced in backyard. We have all the basic amenities to make your dog stay easy on you and comfortable for your dog. We have no other pets currently in the home, but we do have three kids ranging from 3-12 who are comfortable around dogs and have learned how to appropriately play with them.

About: I’ve been a cat caretaker for most of my life, including my two fur babies, Zelda & Yoshi, numerous pet-sitting sessions for friends and family, and years on Rover! About: I love all animals! I have about 3 years working at a fear free animal hospital where we only used low stress handling techniques. My love for animals has grown from having my own. About: I absolutely love animals and have been around them my whole life. I’ve taken care of my own dogs growing up. Neighbors and friends have also had me take care of their cats and dogs while on vacation many years in a row. I am a college student and I have a part time job here in the neighborhood. “Jess was very accommodating on a last minute trip I had planned. She was very flexible with my schedule and availability to meet. I was extremely nervous as this was my first time utilizing Rover, as I usually book with PetSmart but I wanted to make sure my senior dog was well taken care of as boarding can be stressful for older dogs. Once we had the meet and greet, my dogs immediately loved Jess. She made sure that their routine stayed as close to the same as at home to ensure their comfort, and sent pictures and updates daily (which I loved). About: I had a dog aggressive dog for six years and it was always hard to find a sitter. We want to make sure other people can find a place for their dog where they will be comfortable and the owners can enjoy their time away without worry. We are home starting Thursday evening and would be available to take care of your doggie so it will feel comfortable. We can take your dog on walks and because we have the weekend off we can spend as much time as needed to make your pet feel loved. Together we have experience walking a dog reactive dog in the UP and Detroit where anything could happen at a moments notice. We understand how important it is to avoid triggers, and what to do to help you dog when it's unavoidable. We also have experience with old dogs who need medicine and low impact play time as well as anxious dogs who aren't sure what's going on.

She met with us prior, and learned after that she needed to give two medications (which she was not troubled by in the least!) Ashley sent us regular photos and videos and we could tell our new fur baby was in excellent hands! She also accommodated our very late arrival to pick up.
