About: Since I was in my teens I have lived a life with pets - and it has been such a rewarding journey so far! I have had cats in my house as part of my family every year of my life since I was 14. I currently have a multi-cat household, and do TNR in my neighborhood where I can to help the outdoor stray cats. I have also rehomed multiple stray cats with the help of local rescues, in order to help as many possible have long happy kitty lives. I have experience with cats of all ages, from bottle feeding kittens to 18 year old seniors, and am comfortable giving any medications as well. About: I’ve always loved cats. Despite being allergic to them as a kid I was always drawn to them until my immune system eventually learned to adapt! About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! “Mary is great with my pitty!! She always did what I needed done and found the time to squeeze him in even in busy days! She does have a bad ankle so due to that we had to switch over so if u have a bigger stronger dog who pulls or is reactive, may be best to find someone else. But otherwise she did the job and walked him even with that ankle :)! She helped us find other options as well and always had tips to help when issues were brought up. She seems to really care about the animals and what they need.”

About: I have 4 of my own dogs. I have owned dogs since I was about 2 years old with my family. I am very passionate about dogs and I treat them all with respect. I foster dogs when I have the time because every dog deserves love and care for. I love helping them in a time of need! I could adopt them all! It was obvious I had a love for them when my first dog died i was heart broken and when my current dog was attacked by a bigger dog i was hurt too. i have a very open schedule as i just graduated college and have the summer off before i go to more school and i have a good amount of free time. My name is Phoenix - I am an avid animal lover who has worked with dogs & cats of all ages and sizes throughout my 15 years of experience with volunteering for animal rescue, as well as owning them throughout my lifetime. If I do have to leave the home, I have a doggie cam in which allows me to watch AND talk to them from anywhere! I immediately receive alerts to my phone when they are active. I attended Michigan State University for my Pre-Veterinary requirements so I am able to confidently administer any medications or special diets your pet needs. I have familiarity with many dogs/cats of many behaviors - so if your pet is timid or full of energy, no worries! Dogs are allowed to curl up on the couch with me, as well as sleep on my bed (if you allow). The more the merrier. When they enter my home I like to make them feel comfortable and like they are apart of the family. I have 2 dogs, an Australian Shepherd, Luna, and a Beagle/Basset Hound, Leo, whom are extremely social and has an endless amount of energy, if your dog would enjoy a playmate. One last thing, I do have cats - but they are not your typical cat. They are extremely desensitized to dogs and very friendly towards them. About: I've been caring for animals since my teenage years. I started out with an animal that has a terrible reputation, but happens to be one of the most intelligent small animals. Domesticated Norwegian rats. I became an avid trainer, teaching them to spin and even play basketball. Others call them "pocket puppies", and so I began training small dogs next. Hanging out with the fur babies, having a schedule that includes my tiny dog, it's the best part of my daily life and even encourages me to take better care of myself. I am disabled, so pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I can adjust my day to your dogs needs, and have very flexible hours. I always leash if the outdoor area is not enclosed.
