About: I started dog sitting when I was a young teenager, but I didn’t have my own dog until 2019. Since then I’ve been able to watch friends and family members dogs. I used Rover services for my own dog and realized it would be fun to care for others’ pets and provide play dates for my dog at the same time. I work from home Monday-Friday and we’re typically home on weekends. My dog is friendly and happy to play with others or relax all day. We have a fenced in yard and are very focused on safety. We have plenty of sidewalks to take walks on. I allow dogs on furniture and have plenty of dog beds and toys.

About: I grew up in a house with dogs both large and small and having the responsibility of helping to care for them. When I moved into my current home and getting a dog was a possibility I went to the shelter and found my perfect buddy. I love dogs and they are an important part of my life. About: Hello! I have been working with all type of animals since I was 13 years old. I grew up in a home that encouraged love for animals. My mom, sister, and I used to rehabilitate baby foxes, raccoons, squirrels, possums, and different types of birds. I was a full time dog sitter for a few years. Since going away to college, I wasn't able to work as much. I graduated from CMU in 2020 and spent 3 years working for United Wholesale Mortgage. About: My family bred dogs since I was born, so I’ve been active in animal care my whole life. Worked for a level 1 animal hospital during my pregnancy, learning the basics of emergency care for pets. I’m a stay at home mom with 2 dogs of my own that I’m already providing care and time for. I’m only away from home an hour or so at most to be able to come take care of my dogs again. I have any animals crated if I’m unable to keep my full attention on them, they are let out in a fenced yard every 1-2 hours for bathroom and extra play, and I have available extra space for special needs cases of pets that need their space.

About: I've had dogs all my life we have a little dog and he is my best friend(second to my wife) I take him with me when I run errands and he gets really excited when we ask him if he wants to go for a ride in grandpas truck or grandmas car. I have learned that they are more relaxed when I do this and it makes their stay less stressful. I do not have a fenced yard but when they are on a leash and make sure I am aware of their surroundings to anticipate anything that maybe harmful to them. I'm retired so this my second work life / passion. I love animals and will do what it takes to keep them safe and happy while they are in my care. I live in a condo so when I board if your pet has to go out they are on a leash. I also make sure that they are not in a situation that they can get anxious or hurt. I'm retired so this is my second life. I try to keep them on their regular schedule so the change to to an environment is easier on the pet. It has been my experience that they are calmer and there are less issues with accidents and not eating or drinking I don't have a yard so when they go out they are on a leash and I try to always be aware of other dogs or people around me that could be a problem.

My partner and I recently bought our home in Detroit that has a good size yard for play space for your dogs! I have a great deal of experience with many different breeds, some positive reinforcement training experience, and some basic first aid/troubleshooting experience. I will always treat any animal within my care as my own, and take my responsibility of being trusted with someone's family member incredibly seriously. I work from home on a varied, part-time schedule. I plan to use the late morning/early afternoon hours when I am typically free to do walks and/or check-ins and can do overnights as needed when my schedule allows. Making sure there is not "people food" easily accessible to the pet when that's a concern, being mindful of small parts they may try to eat and choke on etc. Making sure the animal has enrichment activities to make it less likely they will chew on or destroy anything they aren't supposed to. Paying attention to notes on pet profiles, making myself aware of any concerns with cats/dogs/kids/food aggression etc. Being sure to lock & double check doors before bed or when leaving the property.
About: Well I've always lived in a home with a dog. I started taking care of dogs when I was six years old because my mom felt it was a great way to develop responsibility. Furthermore I was an only child so having a dog present makes up for the time alone. However I always watched my family members dogs often beginning at the age of ten. My family saw how responsible I was with my pet and how I admire dogs so they decided to offer me extra allowance when I watched over their dogs starting at that age (10). Later when I turned 14 and attended high school I wrote an essay about my first dogs which were two Dalmations and everyone loved it and discovered my pet sitting history with my family's dogs so it transitioned to me officially pet sitting other dogs. This helped a lot because I played sports year round in high school making it hard to find a job that would hire temporarily. My mom informed me of this site and I thought it would great to join rover and take on this golden and fun opportunity. Work isn't work when you love what you're doing.

About: I have 4 cats and 2 dogs of my own who are very socialized! I’m great at training fur babies if they need any and I have lots of energy to keep up with them as well! My partner and I recently bought our home in Detroit that has a good size yard for play space for your dogs! About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and had dogs in my own home for 10+ years. I have had experience ranging from raising and training puppies to caring for senior dogs with special needs such as blindness and diabetes. I work remotely from my home and will make sure your pet has all the attention that they need. While I have your pet I will ensure they are only left alone briefly for necessary errands.
