About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full-time teacher, so if you’re booking during the summer my availability is pretty widely open to meet your pets needs. If it’s during the school year, the weekends are there for loving your pet. I love to walk and exercise and am happy to take your dog for long walks as needed. Alternatively if they’re at my house, they can play with our Bernese Mountain Dog in the backyard for endless hours! Our yard is fenced in and the gates are always locked.

I also am working part time so I always be available and accommodating for any special requests/needs. About: In college I worked as a professional pet sitter that was over 20 years ago. Since then I have pet sat off and on over the years in my home and in clients home. I have experience walking lots of dogs at one time. I have experience with horses and cows as well. I also have 5 years of professional pet grooming experience too. I have had family pets my entire life. I currently work part time as a substitute teacher and with my boyfriend at his lawn care business. I have a flexible schedule and will be able to fit pet sitting/ dog boarding/ dog walking in when needed. I have a large yard and live on quite a bit of property. I also have trails behind my house for walking. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I live off a quiet road. I will be putting a tie out for dogs that’s what I used in the past for my dogs .

We have a 7 pound Chihuahua and two kittens who are the current rulers of the home. From guiding young puppies through early obedience and socialization to reinforcing structure and confidence in adult dogs, I focus on calm, consistent, and respectful handling. Depending on the training your dog has been through we can work with you to see what fits best. I am a full time mom who homeschools her kid. My husband is home part time so most of the time we are home if not pup will be crated. I have a fenced in yard and a pet safe GPS collar for the pups. So no matter what the pup will be secured. There is no gate to leave the fenced in area so to leave you have to go through the house.

About: Not only have I grown up with pets my whole life, I have made a living out of taking care of them. It was my calling as a young child to become a Veterinarian. I started Pet Well Mobile Vet, the area's only mobile veterinary service, in 2021 to help bring a better level of quality to pet care after seeing how much more relaxed my friend's pets were when I took care of them in their homes. Building that bond through pet sitting is much the same thing. Pets get individualized care and you get peace of mind. As the mobile veterinarian, I can schedule my days as needed. I have the flexibility to do mid-day meals or walk, if needed. I'm almost always done working by 6pm to make sure everyone gets dinner on time and then some evening playtime. All pets will be cared for as if they are my own. I encourage pet parents to write up the normal routine for their baby so I can stick to it as much as possible. I love to send pictures and updates. (I would want them if the roles were reversed.) I also have the ability to care for medical issues that arise during the stay, only with the pet parent's permission of course.

Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. This was a last minute booking but we could not have been luckier. Our dog is a very social one but also clingy to his main caretaker, and Margalina quickly because that person! We will definitely use them again and can’t recommend them highly enough.”
“We had an amazing experience with Bob. Our puppy loved it from the first moment, as Bob's place feels so welcoming. Wooded trails right beyond the house with a walking access to the dog beach at lake Leelanau was great. Bob has sent pictures of dogs having fun at the beach. Overall freedom for the dogs to walk in and out to the fenced backyard, being welcomed on the couch was such a loving & carrying environment and perfect solution for our Golder Retriever, we will be there again and again when in Traverse City area!”
