“We are so happy we found Beth! We had a couple schedule changes and she was more than accommodating. We will be very happy to use her to watch our doggies whenever shes available!”

“Terry and Chuckie did a fantastic job of taking care of our fur baby Sophie. Communicated very well and sent pics every day. You can tell they truly love dogs. Highly recommend!”

“As always Pamela does a wonderful job not just taking care of Hachi but loving him. She will love your fur baby and make sure they are comfortable! So happy to say, we found a second home for Hachi! ❤️”

“Repeat customer here. Goose loves hanging out with Christina, Michael and the family! They take great care of Goose and always send regular updates so I never have to worry while I’m traveling for work.”

“First time Rover user, and couldn’t have had a better experience with Katherine and her family. Easy to work with, provided updates throughout the stay, and sounds like her family had a great time with our dog Bella. She definitely got the one on one attention we were hoping for, opposed to taking her to the dog kennel/boarding. Would definitely bring Bella back to her again, and recommend to anyone else!”

“Christine and her crew were incredible and did a great job. Thor came home exhausted and without any bad habits (begging from the table, attempting to get on furniture, etc). Great communication before and throughout the stay. Thor loved his time with Cornelius and is looking forward to his next visit.”

“We used Rover and Frances for the first time. We scheduled a week long, twice day stop ovwr to fred our cat. A few days later, we scheduled a sleepover for our puppy as sort of a trial run.”
“Kaylee was AMAZING with my Addy. She sent us so many updates and adorable pictures. Addy was so tired after we picked her up today she sent herself to bed two hours before her normal bedtime. Thanks again Kaylee :)”

“We were apprehensive about a long stay with a vacay out of the country. So we decided on a meet/greet overnight to be sure Alexandra’s household was a good fit for our sweet but sometimes sassy girl:) From the start, Alexandra was so warm and welcoming. And to our relief, our dog got along with hers and they’ve since had a 13 night stay together. Alexandra sent some cute pics and kept us updated. She is such a lovely person and was able to put our minds at ease. She took great care of our dog and we will definitely book with her again. Ohhh….the fenced backyard is a bonus cuz our dog LOVES to run! 😊”

“Felix was great with my dog Sadie! She can be a bit shy and anxious in new environments but warmed up in this safe and comfortable environment. She had a great time playing with the other dogs! Felix was very responsive and provided updates frequently”

“Kailee took excellent care of Milo. He was loved and well cared for. She sent frequent photo updates during his stay and was fast to respond to any questions before and during his stay and was helpful and accommodating.”

“Highly recommend! Theresa clearly loves dogs and is a kind and patient caregiver. She has a great set up for them in her home and treated my pup like he was her own. Looking forward to having Theresa take care of my Buddy again in the future!”

“Jenn was amazing with our pup! This is the longest we have ever left him & I never was worried about him! I missed him for sure but that was helped with updates & pictures from Jenn! I also had so many changes I had to make to my boarding because of not knowing when our flights were going to be exactly & Jenn was so happy to help. My dog also ended up being on a 5 day course of antibiotics & she had no problem giving them to him. She was understanding of the whole situation. She was also very understanding with our pick up time not being set in stone because we were coming from the airport! I will forever recommend her & continue to use her for when we need a sitter!”

“We had Tasha watch our Molly and were very happy with the attention and care given to her. She always kept us updated with messages and pictures of her stay and happiness. Tasha went out of her way to make molly feel part of her family. Set up a meet and greet to introduce her dog and family to us. Definitely recommend and will be using her again. Accommodated with us picking molly up on short notice”

“Aracely is the ultimate cat whisperer! This was our third time having her look after our home, and even for just a short visit, she continues to impress. Leaving a big pet family behind can be stressful, but knowing our six cats are in such great hands gives us total peace of mind. Aracely handles everyone’s individual quirks and needs like an absolute pro, ensuring they are not only well-fed but genuinely comfortable and content for the rest of the day. Every time we get back, everything is perfect and it’s clear our crew is happy and at ease. Huge shoutout to Aracely for taking such amazing care of them—we’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Mandy was very professional! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing fury animal care. Not only that but she even took care of my aquarium fish by feeding them. She's very flexible with her time and proved to be very dependable. I can't say enough good things. Job well done and I will be using her in the future.”

“10/10 highly recommended. We had Sarah do drop in visits once per day for our cats over Christmas vacation. We were really nervous to leave our cats for a week because this was our first vacation since having them. We have one cat who is absolutely terrified of strangers and would prefer to hide under the bed all day and another cat who likes to sneak out the front door and explore. Sarah came in on the first day and became best friends with BOTH of my cats. Even my shy cat greeted her every day after and played with her throughout the visit. She did such an amazing job at keeping my cats inside, fed, and happy! My cats had such a good time while we were gone that they weren’t even bothered that we left! Sarah is a lifesaver for us and we will never stop recommending her!! Book today!”

“Annette was great! She watched May for three weeks while I was on a business trip. She was very responsive and always sent lots of update photos. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

“I will always choose Emily to watch my pet when I am out of town! She does a great job communicating throughout the process and sends me the best pictures. My cat loves her!”

“Marissa was very kind and timely with her drop-ins! She provided great pictures and was even kind enough to return after the booking ended to return my house keys. I would definitely book with her again in the future.”

About: I have over 7 years of experience caring for cats through owning family pets and helping care for cats belonging to friends and relatives. As a pre-veterinary student at Grand Valley State University, I am passionate about animal health, safety, and well-being. I understand that every cat has a unique personality and comfort level. Whether your cat enjoys playtime and attention or prefers a quieter environment, I am committed to providing patient, attentive care that helps them feel safe and comfortable while you are away. I am also comfortable maintaining litter boxes, monitoring eating and drinking habits, and following specific care instructions.

“Charity did an awesome job watching Sophie! She was always on time and provided us with detailed updates. Our dog really enjoyed spending time with her. Charity made us feel very confident Sophie was in good hands while we were out of town!”

“I had a last minute trip to Grand Rapids for work and spent time looking for the perfect fit to watch my 7 mo old puppy during the day. Once I came across Anne’s profile, I’d hoped for a good experience and let me tell you, Anne and her family were absolutely amazing! They were super attentive to my pup — taking him for walks, allowing him to play with their animals, and maintaining structure for him by encouraging rest time, and correcting his behavior. Every time I came to pick him up, he was so sad to leave and he was super excited to be back at their house each time I dropped him off! I can’t sing their praises enough, it means the world to me that they helped me in a pinch and that they did an exceptional job! Any time I return to the area, Anne will be my go-to everytime!”

I promise to be flexible, dependable, caring, comforting, and understanding. I believe dogs can sense who we are, so bonding is important to me. I hope to provide the care you're looking for! - Lindsey vanschepen I am a stay at home mom who is incredibly flexible! My son and I love pets of any kind. Giving extra attention and care whenever where it is needed!
“I was visiting from out of state and only had a couple of days of notice but they were able to help. My 100lb Labrador was happier about going each day. I received regular photo and video updates of DJ socializing with other dogs and children. It appeared she had plenty to do and was definitely sleepy after. The whole family is very nice. Thank you!”

“Terry and his wife took great care of Max while we were getting work done at our house. We appreciate them being able to watch him and the workers appreciate working in silence at our house. haha!”

“We cannot state our appreciation for Beth further— she helped us out in a complete bind. We’re not from the area and travel with our dogs often so thought nothing of it when we had a wedding to attend in Holland but one dog decided she didn’t want to be quiet in our accommodations and we were told to figure it out or be evicted from the hotel (understandable). We put the call out to a few dog sitters over Rover and Beth responded quickly with compassion and responsiveness. We were able to drop our dogs with her after a very easy-going meeting to make sure all parties were comfortable and safe. It was easy to see Beth cared and had a great operation. We were able to attend the wedding and reception afterwards with peace of mind. We just scooped up our pups and they’re completely, happily pooped. I would recommend Beth to anyone who is looking for someone with a giant heart and generous soul to take care of their pups. Thanks again, Beth!!!”

About: I have pet sit, walked, ran, leash trained, and mentally stimulated dogs of all breeds since a kid. Each dog needs all of these things in different ways and I am here to figure that out to insure your pup and you get the best from me. I used to be under the LLC Dogs On the Run Grand Rapids, but life (two children, moving to Holland etc) put that on hold. I am now so excited to start giving Hollands furry family members what they need! I would love to meet you and work with you and your dog to give them the energy and visit or stay that they need! I have ran and walked dogs no matter the weather. Visits and Stays will come with pictures, arrival and departure time, a map of where we walked/ran, and any notes of our adventure! Send me a message and lets talk about your furry friend today! I am currently working, but that can be worked around your schedule and your pets needs. I am always willing to find the best scenario and schedule! For those going on walks and runs, we will work with what you use and what works best for your dog. All dogs are different. Also, what you want from your dog is different as well. If they need some leash training we can do that as well. My car is dog friendly, so if ball at the park is what they need, or a swim, I am down for that as well! Variety is the spice of life! For stays, I do have a dog of my own who is completely pet friendly, so of course our home is too! Any questions, Ask away :)
“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! She was absolutely wonderful with Lilly - taking her to the dog park, giving her plenty of snuggles, and keeping me updated with photos throughout. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Lilly was in such loving and capable hands. I am super impressed and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Cub had another fantastic play date with his friend Mabel! I know he’s treated well because he gets super excited when we show up to their house! He’ll be looking forward to the next hangout :)”

“Finn’s first experience with Rover! Maegan took great care of him and he came home tired and happy! I loved the updates I received from her during the day - it helped reassure me that he was in good hands!”

“Jenn did a wonderful job caring for our anxious dog Isaac! I appreciate that she did a meet and greet with us at a local dog park before Isaac's stay, it really help put our minds at ease. Isaac liked Jen immediately and seemed happy to arrive back on his second day of daycare. We plan to continue to use Jen in the future!”

About: I love animals! I grew up on a farm with cows, dogs, and cats, and it was amazing! I currently have a Goldendoodle of my own and we are inseparable!! I currently work remote and love picking up shifts during the day to get in all my steps! Feel free to contact any time! Happy to care for your pet! I will treat your pet, just like I would mine own. Keeping safety at the top my mind is always a priority for me. I will keep your pet safe!
“Samantha has completely exceeded our expectations and has been so wonderful to our puppy! She watched Felix every day for us this week and has been beyond helpful/flexible and amazing with our work schedules. She keeps me well informed and updated throughout the day and sends the CUTEST photos. So cute I’m going to have to get some of them framed. I know he’s been walked and has had sufficient play time just by how tired he is when coming home. With him being a puppy, he chews and gets into things he isn’t supposed to. I can tell from Samantha’s updates that she is patient and works with him on behavioral issues. We feel so fortunate to have found Samantha and are excited to take Felix back next week!”

“Gave my boy a wonderful active day. Lots of walks and boy was he tired out from the day. Lots of playing and attention. Thank you so much! Will definitely rebook with Samuel if we come back to this part of the state. Made our anniversary trip so easy knowing he was safe and well taken care of. ❤️”

“Amber did a great job taking care of Riley and Henry. She agreed to watch my dogs on short notice and was very accommodating when I needed to extend their visit. Riley and Henry had a great time playing with her dogs too. Highly recommend her!”

“She is Awesome! My dog loved her the second they met. Laid at her feet. Shows up on time. Takes photos. I feel comfort in knowing Stevie gets attention from a great hearted caring pet loving person when I am at work.”

About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m sticking with Rover full time for a while! I’ve tried Camp Bow Wow, and found it isn’t the right work environment for me. I like providing services through Rover as I can better manage my schedule and get to know your fur babies more personally! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

“Sarah is so great! Professional, caring and attentive. Our pets are so well cared for when she is visiting! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for outstanding attention to their pets’ needs!”

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have owned several dogs with very different personalities and needs. From energetic Australian Shepherds who thrive on activity and mental stimulation to my calm and gentle Golden Retriever, I’ve gained valuable experience understanding how to care for dogs of all temperaments. I enjoy staying active and love spending time outdoors, whether that’s going for long walks, runs, or playing fetch at the park. At the same time, I understand that every dog is different, and I’m just as happy to spend quiet time relaxing, cuddling, and providing companionship for pets who prefer a slower pace. I take pride in being responsible, dependable, and respectful of both pets and their owners. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, and to give owners peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in good hands. I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to meet your pet and provide them with the care, attention, and affection they deserve! 🐾❤️ I currently have a work schedule that is all over the place, I am free anytime after 3:30pm Monday-Thursday. I have horseback riding on Friday and on weekends. I’d love to fit your pets needs into my schedule! When caring for pets in their own homes, I make it a priority to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication needs, exercise requirements, and any household rules. I understand that pets can feel more comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on providing plenty of attention, companionship, and reassurance while their owners are away. I also treat every home with respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. During walks, your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I pay close attention to their energy level, behavior, and surroundings to ensure they have an enjoyable experience. Whether your dog prefers a brisk walk, a run, or a slower-paced stroll with lots of sniffing opportunities, I adapt to their individual needs. I always use safe handling practices, stay alert to potential hazards, and make sure your pet gets the exercise, enrichment, and attention they deserve. My goal is for every pet to return home happy, healthy, and tired from a fun outing!
About: I've worked at a Veterinary Clinic for a year where I worked with pets all day! I have owned two dogs, one being a puppy! About: II’ve been pet sitting for my sister for the past two years, including full week stays while her family travels. During that time, I’ve cared for her two cats – feeding, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them plenty of love and playtime. Cats are easygoing, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I also have my own dog and cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and energy levels. I take my dog on regular walks and love bringing her to the park. Sometimes my cat even joins the adventure! My goal is simple: keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for. I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 3–6 pm. Outside those hours I’m available for walks, play, feeding, and maintaining your pet’s schedule; I’ll update you if anything changes. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home whether I’m caring for them in my space or in theirs. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddle time—so they feel relaxed and stress-free. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, since every pet is different. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and always make sure doors, gates, and supplies are secure. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with respect and make sure everything stays neat while giving their pets plenty of love and attention. I also like to send updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy, safe, and having fun.
About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, and I truly cannot imagine life without them as part of the family. That is not just something I say. It is how I live. I have had cats since I was six years old, and my wife and I have shared our home with both cats and dogs our entire adult lives. Right now, our little crew includes our ten year old dog Nara and our two younger cats, Chiri and Lulu. Living in a multi-pet household has taught me how to read different personalities, manage different energy levels, and create a calm, respectful environment where everyone feels secure. I do not see pets as property. They are sentient, emotional members of the family with their own routines, preferences, and boundaries. When I care for your pet, I approach them with patience, attentiveness, and genuine respect. I adjust to their temperament. High energy or shy. Playful or independent. Young or senior. My goal is always the same. Make them feel safe, understood, and comfortable in their own space. My wife brings years of pet sitting experience and previously worked as a dog trainer and consultant. I have learned a great deal from her about behavior, structure, positive reinforcement, and how to respond calmly in different situations. That experience has shaped how I show up with animals. Steady. Observant. Consistent. When caring for your pets, I focus on: • Keeping routines consistent • Providing appropriate play and enrichment • Maintaining clean food, water, and litter areas • Offering calm companionship when that is what they need • Sending thoughtful updates and photos so you feel completely at ease Leaving your pets in someone else’s care requires trust. I take that responsibility seriously. I will treat your pets the way I treat my own. With patience, kindness, and real affection. If you are looking for someone who understands that your pets are family, I would love to help. 🐾 My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I focus on keeping their routine consistent, with regular potty breaks, play when they’re up for it, and plenty of companionship rather than quick, rushed visits. I’m available for afternoon and evening visits, weekend care, overnight stays in your home, house sitting, and extended care when needed. Whether your pet needs a few check-ins during the day, weekend coverage, or overnight care, I’m happy to work around what fits best for you. I aim to be present, attentive, and easy to communicate with, and I’ll send regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is comfortable and well cared for. If you have specific timing or needs, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to find a setup that works well for you and your pets. 🐾 Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pets, whether in your home or mine. In your home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, walking preferences, and any household guidelines you provide. I’m attentive to details like doors, gates, leashes, and secure areas so your pet stays safe at all times, and I treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. My approach is calm, patient, and low-stress. I use fear-free handling techniques and pay close attention to behavior and subtle changes, especially for pets who may be more sensitive or require extra care. I’m also certified in Dog CPR & First Aid, so I’m prepared to recognize and respond appropriately if any concerns arise. I believe in clear, proactive communication. If anything seems off, I’ll reach out right away so you always feel informed and at ease. I aim to create an environment where every pet feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. They’re family, and I treat them that way. 🐾
“Maryam came out and met Chase and I prior to her first walk with him! She was really wonderful with him and was familiar with our community so very helpful! She allowed time for Chase to sniff her and get comfortable with her while we talked. I appreciate her calm but confident presence! There first walk went great!”

“Mandy did a get job with Stella and Lacee on Thanksgiving Day! We came home after 13 hours and both dogs were calm and happy to see us and there were no messes! We really appreciate her care for them. We’ll book again I’m sure. Jan”

About: I started my personal experience training an animal when I was 16 or 17 raising our family beagle puppy. I have always had a genuine love and curiosity for dogs. They each have such unique, individual personalities and they are more than just animals. They become your best friends! It amazes me to see their compassion and loyalty to their humans. In the past year, I have boarded several different dogs with my husband at our house, and I have also stayed at pet parents houses to watch their dogs as well. It is my desire to treat others dogs with the same love, kindness, and respect that their owners give them each day! I value the variety of structures that people set up for their pets and I will obey those structures. Overall, I will do my best to make your dog feel comfortable and happy during their time apart from their family 😊. I have a full-time position located in Grand Haven, but I only go into the office Tuesdays and Thursdays. My day off is Monday so I definitely have flexibility on that day, and I am at home most of the day Wednesdays, Fridays, and also Saturdays in the morning/afternoon and Sundays in the evening. Depending on the location of the dog, I can make a stop for a drop in or walk on my way to or from work in Grand Haven because it is about a 45 minute drive. If the pet is within 25-30 minutes from my home, I can easily make that drive on the days I work from home. For the days that I have to leave for chunks of time, my husband can also help out if the dog is staying at home with us! I do not have much of a yard at my home, but we live right next to a very spacious park and love to take our furry friends on long walks! We prefer to crate them when we are not at home but we are usually only gone a couple hours at a time if that. We are open to them sleeping in our bed with us depending on the size of the dog 😊. When I stay in a clients home to watch their dog, I am pretty open and flexible to their needs. I have watched dogs who have very specific diets, walking schedules, and sleep schedules.
“Samantha is awesome with my 18-month-old Boxer, Sophie. Sophie warmed up to Samantha and her children immediately and had a great time on their walks! Samantha was prompt, professional, and trustworthy. I will definitely be asking her to help out with Sophie again!”

“Julia was great! She understood things so accurately and intuitively right from the start. Great communication. I felt completely comfortable with her follow through and pet care!”

About: I have 5 dogs of my own, ranging from a cattle dog to a pitbull.I have no problem taking care of any type of animal and I have experience in all fields of care, including bathing, walking, nail-trimming, and more. I’m free from 6am-11pm on weekdays! I do work full-time but my boss is lenient and he’d have no problem with me tending to your furry friends! I personally have 5 dogs in a non-fenced in yard but they are all very well trained. I would prefer to keep your animals in the comfort of their own home though due to my dogs being very playful, if your dogs are comfortable being in a high-energy setting it would be no problem but they don’t need added stress from my rowdy bunch.
About: I've owned dogs my entire life. I'm a teacher looking for some extra income and a way to help you give your pets a good experience while you are away! My job goes on summer break June 2, at that time I will be available any time! Until then I can do evening and weekend care. I'm offering to come to your home and take care of your pets. I'll be available to exercise as well as provide for basic needs!
About: Hi Everyone! I am an outdoor toddler teacher who absolutely loves all animals! I have two rescues of my own and a bunny! I have a deaf dog who I taught sign language to and have gone through Reactive behavior training as well as basic training for dogs! I worked at a dog boarding facility for a year and have fostered through harbor for a couple of years now! I have lots of experience with all sized dogs, all ages, and all behaviors! I am very comfortable and am willing to meet your fur baby before booking with me! I love going on adventures (hiking is my favorite hobby) so I would love to take your fur baby for walks or even just snuggle, whatever is needed!! We had a 16 year old pit mix who required medication everyday so I am very familiar with giving medications, I would also be able to help with basic training during my time if needed! I have experience with all kinds of pet care daily because I worked at a daycare and boarding facility. I have been around all sizes of dogs and all ages. I have been around more aggressive dogs and also the sweetest dogs. I also take care of my own dogs and when I’m done at work I like taking them for walks or snuggling on the couch! I have a very friendly, goofy, clumsy deaf dog who loves all dogs and people as well as a very friendly (submissive) quiet puppy! I also have a big crate for if your fur baby needs to be crated. I have enrichment puzzles for dogs and a big yard. I also am close to a dog park. Or walking trails for hikes!

“We are so happy we found Beth! We had a couple schedule changes and she was more than accommodating. We will be very happy to use her to watch our doggies whenever shes available!”

“I had such a great experience with Sylvia! She was very attentive, kept me updated with pictures and videos, and was flexible with timing. She even took my dog to the beach and went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and well cared for. My pup came home clean, loved, and spoiled. She was so sweet to my dog, and I’ll definitely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Good people here! Trooper had a great time there. Sent pictures daily of my buddy on walks and snoozing. They are very flexible and communicate very well. Would highly recommend for your dog sitting. I will definitely be going back so trooper can see his new friends!”
