I have had 2 cats and a dog (Annie) and I have helped my grandma with her litters of Doberman during my entire childhood. They do well with friendly dogs who are a good fit for our home, and we are thoughtful about introductions, supervision, and giving dogs space when they need a break. My seven-year-old son, Oliver, is my enthusiastic helper and is learning responsibility, kindness, and entrepreneurship through pet care. I personally handle all bookings, communication, feeding, medication, supervision, safety decisions, and care routines, while Oliver helps in age-appropriate ways. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. About: I’ve always had dogs and love caring for animals. I lost my beloved dog and I miss her wildly. Spending time with dogs allows me to honor that bond and brings me genuine joy; I truly enjoy getting to know each animal unique personality. I treat every animal woth the same kindness, patience and love I gave to my own dog. I have a very flexible schedule and I can give pets the attention, supervision and companionship they deserve 24/7! I don’t work so I’m completely free to take care of your fur babies. We travel extensively in our motorhome, but we are based in Michigan. Our Michigan home has an acre of woods for the dog to enjoy. There are no roads nearby and it is very safe and quiet.

About: I have had a dog since I was 3 years old. I have dog sat for a variety of people back in Montana and in Michigan. I'm super excited to meet new people and dogs! I also get along with other animals as well. Growing up I had pigs, chickens, horses, and a dog. I have dog sat for other families since I was 13 and have been dog walking since I was 10 just for neighbor dogs. I have dog sat a three month old puppy for 3 months while his mom went out of the country. My schedule is pretty open and flexible. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was child. My family raised our family dog since she was a puppy and even potty trained her. I also have experience teaching dogs commands as well. My schedule has changed! I’m willing to board only on weekdays. Drop-ins and walks on any day of the week! Let me know if you have my questions! About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a large part of my life. My parents neighbors and friends have relied on me to watch, walk, and feed their pets ever since I was able to. I am available for dog walking in mornings and afternoons during the week, and boarding for weekdays and weekends. I have a flexible schedule so just reach out and ask! About: I have experience crate and potty training puppies, litter box training, and can assist with basic obedience training. I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). I work limited part time (10 hrs/wk) and already have a solid routine with my own pets, so caring for yours would be easy to manage! I live in a two story home with a finished basement. Some areas in the home are gated off for safety. Our property is fully fenced in. Our home has young children, as well as our own friendly pets: a 5yo female Golden Retriever and two adult male cats. All our animals are fixed/spayed. We enjoy lots of playtime, walking, and running to help get the energy out.
