About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. About: The second I moved out of my parent’s house I chose to get a pet cat. For the past almost 4 years we have grown so close together. About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life, from training my own dogs to dog/cat sitting for family and friends, I have more experience with big dog breeds rather than little but I am comfortable in my ability to care for all types of dogs and cats. My family has raised puppies multiple times and I have assisted in caring for and training them. I am currently working at dr pol veterinary services, I work Monday and Fridays:8-6, Tuesday and Thursday I work 8-5, and I occasionally work Saturdays from 8:30-12. I am completely free on Wednesdays and Sundays and I’m free in the evenings on the days I work. Currently I am unable to bring other people’s pets into my home because we have three large dogs that aren’t the best when it comes to other animals, but me and my boyfriend are working on renovating a polebarn into a apartment for me and him and we plan on completly fencing the area in for when we eventually get dogs of our own.

About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and also two cats that sleep the day away. My three kids (ages 8 - 13) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!

Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: I am not your typical pet-sitter. I have spent my entire life caring for all types of animals. My first job was at a pet store learning the skills of working with animals and their people. After college I worked as a zookeeper where I cared for everything from mealworms all the way to rhinos. Specialized care was the name of the game there and I was able to recognize the smallest details on how to improve my work with exotics. Then I was led into the world of shelter work. Where I studied pet behavior and early signs of stress and how enrichment can help save lives. Many animals coming into the shelter would need some form of medication as well. I have a skillset of administering medications and making sure the animals actually receive their meds. Lastly, I was a dog training apprentice. I was able to form bonds with dogs that most people wouldn't come near. I can read body language well and know how to show dogs respect. I aim to be your go-to pet-sitter where you can actually enjoy your trip. I will make your pet my priority. I have an excellent ability to find balance in my schedule. Currently I am unable to bring other people’s pets into my home because we have three large dogs that aren’t the best when it comes to other animals, but me and my boyfriend are working on renovating a polebarn into a apartment for me and him and we plan on completly fencing the area in for when we eventually get dogs of our own.
About: We're Caroline and Joseph, a friendly and responsible couple who absolutely adore animals. We've grown up with pets our whole lives and understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your furry family members. We're excited to offer your pets a safe, fun, and loving environment, treating them just like our own while you're away! I’m currently a daycare teacher who works during the week Monday through Friday. I’m looking to make extra money over the weekend where I am available all of Saturday and Sunday to help with your pet care needs I currently live in an apartment, it’s very roomy and also pet friendly. There is also a spacious dog park outside of the building. Additionally, I also have a 1 year old calico cat. She is very friendly and gets along with other animals.

About: We are a pet-friendly home with one cat, two older kids who love dogs and all animals, and myself who will take gentle care of your dog/s, as well as cats, and/or all other animals while you are away. No type of animal (unless aggressive) will likely be turned away. In addition to several years of pet care, I have also had experience and training with professional bathing and grooming of dogs and cats, and caring for special-needs animals, including puppies, kittens, elderly dogs and cats including those with arthritis and diabetes, administering medicine, and giving injections and subcutaneous fluids. Our home is relaxed and open, with "safe spaces" where we can keep your pet if they want or need their own room. We live in a friendly, calm neighborhood, great for dog-walking, and we love to go for walks and play! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule in order to accommodate your needs and I look forward to working with you and giving your special loved ones the care that they want, need, and deserve.

About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.
