He was very responsive, and his quick replies helped me check in on her. I was informed that there were a couple of diarrheal episodes. It would have been more helpful for me to relay these episodes to the vet if they had been described in more detail with text and photos. I also came home early and greatly appreciated his flexibility in allowing me to pick Maggie up a day early. Lastly, I wish Rover supported video so that I could see Maggie during her stay. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

Pet care is something I truly enjoy, and I make it a priority in my weekly routine. I am a full-time student at Saginaw Valley State University and a member of the SVSU Dance Team, but I have a very flexible schedule and am committed to working around my classes and practices to meet the needs of my clients. I understand that pets rely on consistency, and I’m happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight care whenever my schedule allows. I plan my time carefully so I can provide dependable, high-quality care and give every pet the attention they deserve. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in visit, a long walk, overnight companionship, or care while you’re away for several days, I strive to be as flexible and reliable as possible. About: When I have been a sitter in the past I was in charge of admitting medication few times a day. Feed dogs separates if they had special feedings. I also did overnight stays up to 5 days. I also walked the dogs a couple times a day. I also have watched up to four dogs at a time. I currently very open at this point in time. My availability will be everyday from 10am on to10 p.m. and every weekend I am also available, but my hours are more flexible. A family-friendly pet environment. We also have fur babies here to keep company. We also have four kids for extra love and attention and outside play. We do not have a fenced yard and I also live by a busy one-way
About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, and have been pet sitting since the age of 13. I grew up with cats and dogs, and I currently have three senior cats and a rabbit, who I love to spend my free time with. I am comfortable and have experience with administering medications to cats and dogs, walking dogs, caring for older pets, and working early mornings or late evenings. I would love to meet you and your pet! As a recent college graduate, I currently have full availability and a flexible schedule. This allows me to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve! I believe that every pet is different, and deserves individualized care based on their personal routine, personality, and needs. Before booking, I take time to learn about feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medications, favorite activities, etc., in order to provide the best care possible for your pets. I am also more than happy to provide regular updates, such as texts and photos to the owners, so that they can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: I have never had less than 3 animals at any point of my life. I have looked after neighbors dogs and other animals before as well. I am currently working a very flexible job so I have lots of availability if it is properly communicated beforehand! I am available both during the week and on weekends if necessary. I am a calm and patient person especially when it comes to animals and have always been able to give the care necessary for the animals I care for!
About: I’m a special education teacher looking to earn extra money. I can help you on a busy day or while on vacation by taking great care of your fur baby. I have 3 cats and have been around animals my whole life. I can help with pets after 4pm, on weekends, and any time during school breaks. I’m close to most places in the tri-cities and have reliable transportation. I love going for walks with dogs, playing catch, snuggling cats, making sure they eat, and help them feel safe and happy while you are away. I’m great at communication and will keep you updated if you want reassurance things are going well while you are gone.

“This was my first time using a boarding service, and I’m happy that I found Ralph to take care of Maggie while I was out of town for a month. He was very responsive, and his quick replies helped me check in on her. I was informed that there were a couple of diarrheal episodes. It would have been more helpful for me to relay these episodes to the vet if they had been described in more detail with text and photos. I also came home early and greatly appreciated his flexibility in allowing me to pick Maggie up a day early. Lastly, I wish Rover supported video so that I could see Maggie during her stay. Overall, I’m grateful for the care Ralph provided.”

About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.
