“My older lab had a great time with Burgandy! I really appreciated the great communication, photo updates, and schedule flexibility! Looks forward to using Burgandy again!”

“Great sitters. My dogs very energetic and demanding when it comes to attention. They kept me updated and helped me out in a pinch with a last minute stay. Will be my go to for pup sitting!”

“Great sitter! Sent pictures how my Harley was doing. Great picture! Harley was very happy with Kim. Kim was very kind and patient with Hailey. I felt Harley was very safe with Kim and she spoiled him like he was one of her own. Excellent 👌.”

“Sabrina and her family are fabulous. Both of my dogs enjoyed their stay. When I went to pick them up, both of my dogs were excited to see me, and the one went right back up to their porch! I'd say he loved it!”

“Alisha was amazing to work with! She took great care of my dog, Ruger, and kept me updated the whole time. I received lots of cute pictures of Ruger and her dog, Bella, playing together. She has a big fenced in backyard which gave Ruger lots of opportunities to get in his exercise and to play with Bella. I highly recommend Alisha to look after your fur baby and I will definitely be taking Ruger to her again if I need a sitter.”

About: I have experience with animals in all settings. I have helped distract puppies when they receive their first shots and I have helped dogs who get laser therapy. I have helped care for the pets family and friend throughout my entire life. I have always enjoyed helping people but helping pets is so special. I work part time 0.5 mile away from home. I usually work from 12pm- 8pm. Or later in the evening usually between 5pm - 2 am. When I am not home my boyfriend is home most of the day. I live in a safe and quiet apartment, without a fenced in yard. I have an American bulldog mix. I enjoy going for walks and bringing out the best in my favorite fuzzy critters.
“Erin was so wonderful to us and our dog Opal 🐾. Last minute I posted a request to book for boarding and Erin responded right away. Our dog Opal (9) loved her visit (you could see the fun she had in the photos Erin sent daily - she was super tired when she got home from playing with all the dogs too). Thank you Erin for being so great with her AND brushing her - it never ends with husky fur! 🤣 I highly recommend Erin to anyone in the area looking for excellent care for their pet.”
“Jessica was amazing both times she watched out 2 pups. She communicates well and keeps us posted on how they are doing! We will definitely be using her services again!”

“Ralph is absolutely amazing. The biggest thing for me is that Ralph never ever made me feel like a bother with any questions that I had from the moment I reached out to him to book till when he actually watched my Halle. He sent me pictures of my Halle while watching her and is just overall a great vibes kind of guy. Definitely love and plan to have him watch our baby girl again. Thanks Ralph for being awesome.”

“We needed a new pet sitter for our Harley and we are so pleased to have found Kayti! She frequently updated us along with pictures which I really liked. Harley came back SO tired from playing. We will definitely be using Kayti again next time we go out of town!”

“As always, Jerri was great with my dogs. She is on top of the medication schedule (one of my dogs is on a few medications). She loves them like they’re her own! She makes my sweet, odd little frenchie feel right at home! I never trusted to leave her with anyone other than the vet, until we met Jerri. She’s great!”

“Michelle was great! We have two young, high energy pups and she took great care of them. Even managed to bathe them! Will definitely rebook with her if I need pet services again!”
“Kathy was very patient, loving, & understanding with my 12 yr dog Rocki. It was wonderful to know he was safe & secure with reassuring pictures & notes she sent. Her dog Kiri was so calm & welcoming to mine. We are So blessed to have found them. Rocki's missing them already 🥰”

“Jennifer and her family took great care of our pup and we are so thankful to them for that! When we encountered travel issues, Jennifer’s prompt replies and willingness to extend our dog’s stay and adjust pick up plans were so very appreciated. We would use Jennifer and her family for future boarding needs.”

“Sarah helped me out last minute with boarding my two dogs while I left town on an impromptu vacation. She was very kind, communicated timely, and gave me updates on how much fun my babies were having while I was gone. I don’t know what all she did, but the dogs I got back were so much more behaved! I will definitely be booking with Sarah again for training sessions!”
About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.
“Logan (and Grace) were great! His communication was quickly responsive initially, and regular on a daily basis including pictures of how happy Mocha was during her stay. We are very protective of Mocha, and Logan made sure she was safe and getting along with their cat and one other dog they were caring for during part her stay. I know if they were not getting along he would have kept them separate and protected her. But turns out they all got along. I won’t hesitate to use Logan as my first choice if we ever have need for a caretaker in the future. Thanks Logan!”

She is trust worthy and went above and beyond staying to give our cats love and was flexible feeding our special needs cats and giving medication. We will definitely be hiring Jennifer again! Thank you Jennifer!”

I highly recommend her and will definitely rebook her services. Thank you sooooo much!! ??”

“Kelsey did a fantastic job taking care of Buddy and Rocky while I was on vacation. I can’t say enough about the peace of mind I had while traveling. She fed, cared and spent time with them as if they were her own. The daily check in pictures and texts were so nice to reassure me they were in great hands!”

About: I have always cared deeply for cats. At my oldest brothers graduation party a cat came into our garage and had kittens. When my dad found me I was petting the cat. Since then I have taken care of many cats. Offering food, water, playtime, affection, and of course cleaning countless litter boxes.
“Amy was great! She was very attentive to my pet cat. I gave her a walk through the day before and introduced her to my cat. So while I was away, Amy would take the time to pet and provide comfort to my cat as best she could. She was always great about keeping me updated which I greatly appreciated! Overall I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter that will do their absolute best to care for you furry loved one.”

“Heather was absolutely wonderful caring for our three kitties while we were on vacation for a week. She communicated including pictures every day and even watered our flowers for us. She provided great peace of mind so we could enjoy our time away and not worry. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you Heather!”

“Kristina is so great with my cats and I never have to worry while I’m out of town!! She has been so nice to them and it is evident in the way they have warmed up to her since the first time she sat for me!”

“Nicole and Chloe were great! They were super helpful during the holiday break. Tana loved her visits every time. Nicole and Chloe even helped bring up our garbage bins when we left them at the end of the street. We are grateful for them and already have them booked for another visit.”
“We had a great experience with Neika as our dog sitter! She was always prompt and reliable with every appointment, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Her communication was stellar—she kept us updated consistently and made sure Daisy (Dog) was well cared for and comfortable the entire time. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“I contacted Maria late on the evening before we were leaving for a last minute weekend away. This was our first time to use her. She responded and was so sweet to come for a quick meet and greet before we left. We knew right away that she had a special love for cats. She and our Mac connected right away. We loved that she shared many photos with us and let us know what she did on each visit. Maria gave us peace of mind that our boy was being well cared for while we were gone. She also kindly watered my flower pots for me. We highly recommend Maria.”

“My dogs came home tired and so so happy! Jessica sent plenty of photos and its clear that all the dogs in her care get tons of love and attention. Looking forward to weekly care for my pups🥰”
“We lived in Saginaw for 2 years, for a good chunk of this time Astro would spend every Friday with Sarah and she would also take care of him when we were traveling. Her care and knowledge was palpable, Astro was always static to see her. I was also always happy to have him spending the day with the same Friday crew. He had his best friends and was a much happier dog for that. We even noticed his confidence and calmness increase as the time went by. We are so thankful we had Sarah while we were here!”

“Blythe was very accommodating. She took us as a fairly last minute booking since we had a funeral and my previous sitter had just moved away. My pickup estimate was off and she was kind enough to keep Grokii an hour or two longer than expected even though it coincided with putting her kids to bed. Her kids are absolutely adorable and I know Grokii was doted on because he slept almost the entire next day. Great family - highly recommend!”

About: Dogs have been a significant part of my life, holding a special place in my heart. Growing up, my mother was involved in rescuing dogs, and we even took part in fostering. This experience exposed me to dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I've undergone basic dog training and share my life with a 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog named Millie. Prior to Millie, we had a beloved hound dog named Evie, who was a cherished companion for 15 years. My love for dogs spans every age, and I appreciate the unique needs and characteristics that come with each stage of their lives. I currently work from home full-time however, my schedule allows for flexibility through the week day where I can be available for walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and snuggles. I would be happy to come get your pup out for a long walk before you return home. I would be happy to take your pup to a park to walk or around your neighborhood. I have a dog harness for safe traveling. I could also bring your pet to my home to play with my dog for a playdate. We have a nice fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to run. Our dog is wonderful with other dogs as well- big and small.

Commitment to Quality Care in Your Home When caring for your pet in your home, I strive to go above and beyond to ensure both your pet's well-being and your peace of mind. If I notice anything out of place or in need of tidying, I’m happy to help—but always with your prior approval. I understand that personal preferences vary; some clients prefer to handle certain tasks themselves, while others appreciate the extra assistance. My goal is to respect your space and treat your home with the same level of care I would my own. Having spent the last two years renovating my own home, I deeply understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized environment. Safety and Pet Care Best Practices Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I take every precaution to ensure their well-being: Secure Transportation: If I transport your pet, they will always be properly restrained with a seatbelt or pet travel carrier for safety. Leash & Walk Safety: On walks, I ensure pets do not pick up items from the ground. I also clean their paws after every outing, just as I do with my own pets. Hygiene & Health: If your pet gets dirty, I will provide a bath with your permission. Any medical concerns will be addressed immediately, and I am trained in emergency pet first aid, excluding surgical procedures. Home Security: I will ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving your home. Privacy & Updates: I will only take photos of your pet for your updates and will never photograph your home without permission. Supervision & Outdoor Time: Pets in my care will never be left alone in a vehicle or outside unattended, even in my fenced yard. Cats will remain indoors unless they are harness-trained and you request outdoor time. Stranger Interaction: While on walks, your pet will not interact with strangers or other animals unless pre-approved for socialization. Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.
“I'm SO thankful to Lynda for watching my big, anxious boy! I was in town camping at bay City with my dog and friends and realized the weather was far too hot for him to be outside all day so I found Lynda last minute to take Atlas during the day when it was the hottest and she accomadated my last minute request! My Atlas can be skiddish and anxious easily and he ended up having a fantastic time I was so pleased and it was such a weight off my shoulders to know he was well taken care of! She sent pictures, videos and updates the whole time. Highly recommend!”

“We've taken our dog Lucy to Jerri a few times now, and she is just wonderful! A true dog lover. She is a great communicator and sends pictures and updates through out the day. She goes above and beyond what we could hope, and we know our pug is super happy when she is there! You can trust your furry baby with Jerri. She's great!”
“My dog Winston seemed to have a very enjoyable day. Alisha took great care of him which gave me one less thing to worry about. I will definitely have her babysit my best boy again!”

“Jennifer was awesome as always. This was our second time using her services. She is great with communication and she tired our puppies out with walks, playtime with other dogs, and just giving them so much love. She really treats them like family. She is great at reading dog behavior and she goes above and beyond meeting thier needs. We will definitely be our first choice anytime we need someone to watch our pups!”

“Our fur babies had a wonderful time with Maria and her family. We received countless pictures and messages throughout our 10 day trip that illustrated how happy and loved our dogs were. Maria even gave them baths just before we returned! We highly recommend Maria and will use her again.”
