“Burgandy was a great communicator, kept us updated on how Arlo was doing & even sent us pictures. You can tell she loves & cares for animals. This was our first time using Rover & I felt very comfortable leaving Arlo in her care after our meet & greet. I would recommend Burgandy and will book her again when needed.”

While he was excited to see me when I picked him up, he continued to follow Kathy around - a good sign he was well cared for! She sent pictures and gave me updates on how things were going during his stay and I appreciated that. I would definitely have her watch Domino again.”
“Kim was absolutely wonderful with our beagle. She went above & beyond to make him feel at home. He is naturally nervous & anxious but had zero problems staying at her home. He even got along nicely with her dog. I would definitely recommend Kim as a sitter for your fur baby. We’ll be using her again! A+++ 🌟🌟🌟”

“Brittany was fantastic!! We were super nervous about leaving our 1.5 year old German Shepherd with a stranger but as soon as we arrive our minds were put at ease. Without a doubt she loves animals and even fosters rescues. Raven had a blast and even made a few new kitty cat friends! We will definitely be back. Thank you Brittany for taking such good care of our family member <3”

I love being an auntie to a red toy poodle! I currently work full time from home, allowing care at most times throughout the day! I also am commonly at home during week nights, and enjoy many at home hobbies including playing the piano, reading, knitting, and crocheting, which all make me a homebody! I have a large back yard and live in a neighborhood that is very friendly for dog walking! My home is all vinyl flooring and one level.
“My dogs came home tired and so so happy! Jessica sent plenty of photos and its clear that all the dogs in her care get tons of love and attention. Looking forward to weekly care for my pups🥰”

I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and also two cats that sleep the day away. My three kids (ages 8 - 13) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!
“Blythe was very accommodating. She took us as a fairly last minute booking since we had a funeral and my previous sitter had just moved away. My pickup estimate was off and she was kind enough to keep Grokii an hour or two longer than expected even though it coincided with putting her kids to bed. Her kids are absolutely adorable and I know Grokii was doted on because he slept almost the entire next day. Great family - highly recommend!”

As a business owner who manages my own time, I prioritize reliability and responsiveness, ensuring that your pet’s needs are always met with the highest level of care and attention. Commitment to Quality Care in Your Home When caring for your pet in your home, I strive to go above and beyond to ensure both your pet's well-being and your peace of mind. If I notice anything out of place or in need of tidying, I’m happy to help—but always with your prior approval. I understand that personal preferences vary; some clients prefer to handle certain tasks themselves, while others appreciate the extra assistance. My goal is to respect your space and treat your home with the same level of care I would my own. Having spent the last two years renovating my own home, I deeply understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized environment. Safety and Pet Care Best Practices Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I take every precaution to ensure their well-being: Secure Transportation: If I transport your pet, they will always be properly restrained with a seatbelt or pet travel carrier for safety. Leash & Walk Safety: On walks, I ensure pets do not pick up items from the ground. I also clean their paws after every outing, just as I do with my own pets. Hygiene & Health: If your pet gets dirty, I will provide a bath with your permission. Any medical concerns will be addressed immediately, and I am trained in emergency pet first aid, excluding surgical procedures. Home Security: I will ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving your home. Privacy & Updates: I will only take photos of your pet for your updates and will never photograph your home without permission. Supervision & Outdoor Time: Pets in my care will never be left alone in a vehicle or outside unattended, even in my fenced yard. Cats will remain indoors unless they are harness-trained and you request outdoor time. Stranger Interaction: While on walks, your pet will not interact with strangers or other animals unless pre-approved for socialization. Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.
About: I grew up with dogs. My siblings and I were entrusted to take good care of our own dog since we were toddlers to train us to be responsible. I enjoy taking dogs for a walk, play with them, give belly rubs and make sure that they are hydrated, fed on time and clean as dogs are welcome on our furnitures and bed. We have a fence for dogs to play outdoors. If you need a safe and happy home for your furbabies while you are away, we welcome them in our home and will be treated as our own family member. My dog and I are home most of the time, and we are thrilled to share that time and our tender loving care with your furbaby while staying at our place. I have a fenced yard for dogs in a safe and quiet neighborhood. I have one cuddly dog to give your furbaby company and makes his/her stay comfortable. I have a regular schedule when it comes to feeding, potty runs, walk and play time with dogs.

I do have experience administering medications and bottle feeding. I also volunteered for many years at animal shelters. My schedule is week on week off. So, on the days I am watching your pets I will be completely available for whatever their schedule requires. I am very easy to contact and will provide frequent updates about your pets. I am very reliable and will treat your pets as my own. I know the worst part of a vacation is leaving my pets and the best part is squishing them when returning.
About: Hi, I’m Emerson! I have been a volunteer for the Humane Society for a few years before starting on Rover. The first time I started was when I was 12, and now I do it at 22 when I have free time. I have always been surrounded by animals and pets. I had my first dog when I was 3 years old, his name was Banjo! My family has owned seven dogs since then. Due to my parents' busy schedules, I take care of the dogs every day, including feeding, watering, walking, and potty breaks. Over the years, I have pet sat for several people, and love to do it. I have had the opportunity to meet dogs and cats of all different breeds and personalities at the Midland Humane Society and through Rover. From aggressive dogs to the tiniest puppies, I've dealt with them all. I have experience with injected medicine and oral medicine for dogs and cats as well. My knowledge of pet care is extensive. I will make sure to send you lots of photos of your pets while they’re with me. I am currently working part time and go to school at SVSU. I am very flexible with my schedule, and I am willing to work with yours! My availability is always reliable. Even on holidays, I am readily available and have a lot of time on my hands. In addition to a fenced backyard, I have crates, toys, food, etc. I have plenty of experience and am a reliable caregiver. I would treat your fur baby like my own. In the past, I have house sat and pet sat for many local residents. Having my background checked here was a welcome experience for me as I have never been in legal trouble. My promise to you is to treat your home and pets as if they were my own. I understand how hard it can be to trust someone with your pets.

“My dog LOVED staying here and playing with all the other dogs and kids. I highly recommend Erin and will definitely be using her in the future. She also was very good at responding and sending updates with videos and pictures.”

“Nova had the time of her life at Jessica's house! I think she was sad she had to come home - LOL. She made herself right at home with the other dogs and Jessica's family. We will definitely book again when we need to go out of town - much more personal than the kennel we usually use.”

“I trust Ralph 100%. I have an anxious senior toy poodle, but Ralph makes sure she's comfortable in his home and picks other clients that he think will respect her space. When I have to go out of town, I know Ralph will take great care of her!”

“Our fur babies had a wonderful time with Maria and her family. We received countless pictures and messages throughout our 10 day trip that illustrated how happy and loved our dogs were. Maria even gave them baths just before we returned! We highly recommend Maria and will use her again.”

“Logan is a fantastic dog sitter! He went above and beyond with communication about my Cheyenne. He was incredibly conscientious about making sure she ate, exercised, and was generally happy. I am very grateful Logan was available on short notice, and I’m glad he and Chey hit it off, as I will surely reach out to him again.”

“Kayti is awesome!!! First time for my pooch was a great experience and we plan to have more. I was updated with photos and could tell that my dog was having a great time! I highly recommended.”

“Jennifer and her family took great care of our pup and we are so thankful to them for that! When we encountered travel issues, Jennifer’s prompt replies and willingness to extend our dog’s stay and adjust pick up plans were so very appreciated. We would use Jennifer and her family for future boarding needs.”

“Jessie and family were amazing with Mya- she loved being there - we could tell she had lots of attention and play time because she was exhausted for the whole evening after she came home. Thank you so much!”

“Alisha was very communicative and sent many updates and pictures. From the pictures, it was clear our pup was comfortable and making herself right at home! We will be leaving our pup with Alisha again!”

“This was the first time leaving my puppy. But Megan was the best from the beginning. She was wonderful with Cleopatra and sent pics everyday to reassure me!! I will continue to book with her. She is the best!!”

“Kristen was amazing! She kept us up to date on how everything was going. She also sent pictures and went above and beyond to make our puppies feel comfortable! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter! Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience!”
