About: Hello! I am a second year veterinary student at the University of Illinois. I am home in MI with my parents for the summer, so I’d love to care for your pet(s) while you’re away. I have experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments and energy levels. I am also Fear Free certified, so I pride myself on providing comfortable visits. I will be in the Battle Creek area from June through August. Come August, I will be in the Champaign, IL area. My daily/weekly schedule is fairly open as I do not have a current job. My pets are allowed on furniture. However, I will respect whatever rules you have in place with your pet. I tend to do an outside break every 2-4 hours depending on weather, but in the summer most days are spent outside. I feed my dog on a 2 meal schedule, but can accommodate the pet(s) normal meal routines.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was 10 years old. I have had big and small dogs, rescues and purebreds. My daughter has her own Dog Grooming business & can offer her services here during their stay. We breed and show Collies, both rough and smooth varieties, and have 1 Mini Schnauzer, along with 5 kids. We homeschool, so I am home the majority of most days unless we have co-op classes to go to. We have lots of experience in training and playing with dogs through active participation in 4H Showmanship , Obedience, Rally, & Agility. My daughter and I are hoping to compete in all of the above in AKC events as well. I am comfortable giving oral medication, including sub-q fluids annd/or diabetes shots, and can be shown how to do any other type of medication, as needed. I am a homeschooling Mom, so I am home the majority of most days. We have co-op classes we do attend, but usually are not gone more than 3-4 hours at a time once or twice a week. If we leave the house, all dogs will be crated for their safety and my peace of mind. I am looking for either long term schedules or flexible to help in times of vacations and various excursions in which your dog can not join you. We have 9 acres, set off from the road quite a ways. I have 2 fenced in dog areas in which my Collies run & play when we are not outside with them. We take multiple breaks through out the day to play with dogs, can do walks, ball play, etc. Our Dogs have gotten along with everyone that has come over so far. Our Mini Schnauzer rules the roost in the house. :)

About: I had taken care of dogs of every kind since I was very young. I have relied on me to walked, feed and bathe their pets. I had also trained 2 dogs with some of the sign language as well to teach the animals to sit and stay with the American sign language. My friends and family have relied on me to take their dogs to the dog park, the beach and go on the morning hike. Just really take care of their animals with the love, respect and support for those need my help for them to enjoy their time or a getaway! I'm currently working from home on my own flexible schedule! I do have a lot of time in between working virtually and I can do my job anywhere! So if I take the dogs to the park or go on a walk, I could work on my phone to reply my emails, messages etc. I do have the good balance of taking a break from work to spend the time with the animals to give them my attention and cuddles and go on a walks or adventures! First thing first is to care the animals with respect, love and comfort to be in your home. If I was at your house, I am that person that will follow your wishes and expectations of how you would want me to care for your animals. I do clean up after myself when I am at your house and to keep it tidy clean as you like it to be. I also like to step outside with the dogs/cats to keep my eyes on them or even just being outside with them and play with their toys to give them my joyful attention. I love to have the transparency communication with the owners as well. I will always ask the owner before assuming or trying things out. I love to meet the animals before starting the whole process to feel it out how the energy goes for us and for your animals too. About: Most recent rescued our newest addition Nyla (grey pit) to our family from an abusive situation. She has been amazing with our other dog and both cats! September 2022 we rescued 4 new born kitten that was left outside in a box in the cold. I have taken care of animals since I was 7. I recently rescued a feral cat and helped domesticate her into the sweetest house cat that isn’t afraid of other animals or people! I have house sat, walked, bathed, and feed animals for clients, neighbors, friends, and family which all had animals at the time! I work 12 hour shifts at my main job 3 to 5 days a week and if you are open to the times on the days I work I would be more than happy to care for your animals! I am renting so unfortunately I cannot animal sit at my house and I can house sit upon request but not staying the night because I love and would miss my house with my animals and spouse.

I have experience administering medications and am comfortable finding whatever method works best for your pet (including the classic “hide it in a treat” approach). Safety is always a top priority. Dogs are always kept on leash during walks, and I’m extremely mindful with doors, gates, and any potential escape routes. I have an escape artist of my own at home, so I understand how important that extra level of awareness is. I aim to create a calm, comfortable environment while still making sure your pet gets plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. Whether they’re energetic or more laid-back, I’m happy to match their pace. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away (and yes, I tend to send a lot!).
About: Ive been caring and raising animals for the majority of my life. I currently have a cat named Avery, who I adopted from a cat shelter. Prior to this I had a dog who now lives with my mother and both are extremely happy. I look forward to hearing from you, and meeting your pets. About: I've had a passion for animals since I was 5. I've had experience in a veterinary clinic administering medications. I have experience with newborn puppies, ie. weight tracking, feeding, cleaning, and taking care of momma. I've worked with everything from rescue dogs to elderly dogs and have a pretty good handle on animal behavior since it was my focus in school. Dogs love me and I love dogs. I have a completely open schedule as of right now. I will be attending school through the beginning of the week so afternoons and weekends will be the majority of my availability come August. Until then I would like to take every chance I can get to care for your animal. Pet sitting in-client home services would include, feeding, potty breaks, walks, light cleaning (mud prints, little surprises, changing the whelping box for newborns), occasional grooming, and administering medications as needed. About: Animals have been in my life since I was born! I have previously worked with animals in both hospital and shelter settings so I have seen many animals with different personalities! I’ve had experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments and can administer medicine orally and topically. I’ll give your pets so much love and remind them of how cute they are constantly. I work full time Monday-Friday usually from 8am to 5pm. My job is quite flexible though so I’m more than willing to work something out with you! I am big on body language. Animals don’t have a voice to communicate with us so I am always making sure the dog/cat is comfortable and doesn’t feel like their boundaries are being pressed/crossed! We can’t have fun if your pet doesn’t trust me so the first day is usually a lot of positive reinforcement and play to prove I’m a safe person!
