She is only four months old (needs extra attention as most do!), is on a medication, and this was my first time having to leave her with someone else to care for her. When I got there, Emily already had a space set up for my puppy with a large play space and puppy pee pads (just in case haha). Emily sent me pictures and updates every day so that I could see how well she was doing. It made me happy to see her so happy. Then on my way home, I had flight delays, and Emily and her husband were MORE than accommodating to help me pick up my puppy from them quite late in the evening. I can’t recommend Emily enough. About: I often joke that I like animals more than people and with that being said, I can promise that I will love on your furbaby as if they were my own. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. I’ve been watching cats & dogs since I was a pre-teen. I grew up in a house with 2 cats, as well. I work Monday-Friday, but I have plenty of time on the weekends to walk and play with your dog. I am open to house-sitting at your residence if that is better for the animals. I'm available 24/7 for boarding at my house, as long as your pup is crate-trained and okay being home alone for 6-8 hours as I do work full time Monday-Friday. Same hours go for housesitting at the pet's home. I have lots of space to roam in the house. Couch and bed are free spaces. If your pet prefers to be crated at night, I am happy to do so. At your house, I am happy to follow all rules set in place.

About: I’ve had cats before I was even born! My parents rescued a cat a year before I was born and he was 20 years old before he passed away. He was treated like any other family member and he sparked my deep love for cats. So much so that I rescued a kitten from Texas when I was 10 years old and I learned even more about the care and dedication it takes to have a cat. Then 10 years later I officially adopted my own cat from TC Paws Rescue! He came to me with stomach issues that required him to be on medicated kibble and I fought to find the root cause of his issue to help his quality of life. I soon found out that he has a food intolerance to all seafood! After cutting out all the fish products from his diet, he hasn’t had any stomach issues since! And to me this is an example of the unconditional love that cats teach you. I could’ve kept my cat on that kibble diet and not question it but cats are family and like family you fight for them no matter what. Regardless of the hassle or battle it may cause because every animal should have the best chance at a wonderful life and we’re their advocates.
About: All three of our animals are besties and our whole world. My husband and I have had pets my entire life :) my husband and I work together to take the best care of your animals in our home or yours! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! About: I am a dog lover who loves to meet more pets! I have 2 Westies and we spend hours outside each day in the yard or walking at a park. I am here to help whether you are gone for just a few hours or for weeks at a time. I have no problem allowing the dogs to run free in our house, or stop by to check on your pet in your house. I have two dogs that we got when they were puppies and I helped train them. I taught them all sorts of things like the basics but also secret hand shakes and hand signals. I currently work full time and my hours vary. Sometimes I am available any time after 3 pm or any time before 12 am. But my schedule is completely free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I care for pets by sticking to their feeding schedule, spread out times of play/interaction, walks, grooming, bathing, and light training. I do think it’s very important to make sure dogs are socialized with people and other dogs if able to. And for cats i know it is especially important to have activities for them or interactive play time to decrease the chance of boredom.
