We've never left our 4 year yorkie mix with a stranger before so we were a bit concerned as we had to make a quick arrangement due to a family emergency. Joe sent us numerous pictures, texts, videos and responded to all our check ins within minutes. Joe accommodated our dog and did his best to make him feel comfortalbe as he was a bit nervous and not eating as well as usual. Our dog looked peaceful and content waiting to return home to his family. Joe was good enough to send us a video of our dog eating so we knew he was getting nourished. About: As a pet lover for my entire life, I am very open to who I will take in. I have taken care of my family’s dogs and cats. As well as friends’ pets as well. Not just our small pets. I worked on my family farm in the middle of Maine near Dover-Foxcroft. That included Horses, chickens, occasionally some cows and donkeys. I would love to take care of your pets for whenever you need me to. Just give me any details about them. Medical, whether they are in heat, spayed or neutered. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. About: I used to work in a Kennel and worked with many different breeds of dogs and cats. I have worked with mean dogs and lovely dogs. I have worked with senior dogs as well. Growing up I have always had animals in my house and I always plan to. I work at a senior care facility in 3 days a week, 12 hour shifts. Seeing as I do work long shifts, my mother is able to run over and let dogs out during the day. I help a friend out at Dirigo Pines every so often, usually for 6 hours, but can take breaks. Other than that I just sit at the house I'm at amd relax. I dont get out of work late, usually six and feed dinner when I get home. I dont have any pets at the moment, but always have throughout my life. I have had a deaf cat, senior dogs and small animals. I can give medication if needed. I also try to take wals if the weather is nice.
About: Hello, my name is Libby! I have had pets my whole life and currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I also grew up on a farm where we had all kinds of different animals. I truly have a passion for working with animals, which is why I’m pursuing a degree in wildlife biology. For work, I recently got done working at an animal sanctuary where we cared for 500+ animals. I am looking for something more flexible for when I’m in school. About: I’ve taken care of dogs cats rabbits and horses ever since I was 10. I’ve cared for new born kittens as well as senior cats at the Humane Society for almost 10 years. And cared for my neighbors’ dogs. From volunteering I’ve learn much about behaviors for both dogs and cats and have discovered I have a talent for working with them. I decided at retiring that I would like to begin in home pet sitting earning a living. I also manage an Airbnb with pets and have had great experiences with both dogs and and cats. I’m available all times but desire at least a week in advance notice. Daily weekly and hourly with breaks when needed for managing my Airbnb. Usually to clean after check out. Also per your needs I will need to have a brief break in the day to drive home to make sure my cats are fed and happy with some play time if I am asked to do overnights. I have 4 cats now. They get fed on special foods on a schedule. When they are eating I clean their cat boxes and when they are finished, I clean their bowls. Before they begin their daily naps , I play with each of them. They range in age from 19 to 1 yr. I also check their water bowls throughout the day or night depending. I can give them treats anytime. I also have learned various medical skills and hope to go back to school for a third degree as a vet tech and if life allows veterinary practice.

About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled.
