About: Hi, I'm Kaitlin! I've been caring for pets for 20+ years, for both my own pets and others. I currently have three dog-savvy indoor cats, 2 “house dogs”, and I treat every pet I care for like my own. I have children in my home (ages range from 16 – 4) who have all grown up with both cats and dogs and are well versed in respecting their personal space. I offer drop-ins to provide potty breaks, mid-day walks, house sitting for your cats, dog boarding in my home, and doggy daycare services. I work from home for the majority of the week, so my home offers constant companionship for those needing some support during the day or while their people are away. I can offer support in that field if it is something you are working on with your dog. - While I do not currently have a fenced-in yard, I do live on a private dead-end road in a quiet neighborhood. We do not have heavy traffic and can walk for as long as necessary to tucker your pup out. - Daily photos of your pet for check-in purposes, or if they’re just being cute. - Experience with puppies and young dogs, as well as older dogs who may prefer a quieter environment. My home office space provides a calm space to spend the day with me individually. - Competitive rates and flexible scheduling. - Bonus: I also have experience with chickens and freshwater aquariums and can accommodate check-in visits to refresh water and feed as long as instructions are provided. Your pet will always feel loved, safe, and comfortable while in my care. My husband and I both currently work from home Monday through Friday and can provide constant supervision and attention to our guests. If your pet prefers a quiet environment as opposed to the hustle and bustle of family life, we do have the ability to provide quieter settings. As mentioned above, if your pet requires a crate to feel safe and secure, we have the experience and space to accommodate that. I do require that for overnight bookings, if your dog is crate trained, that you bring their crate with them. I love taking photos of my own pets, so if that offers peace of mind to our guests, I am more than happy to oblige. A meet and greet before a booking is preferred to ensure our dogs can get along. My dogs are both neutered/spayed and have not had any experiences with aggression towards other dogs. They do get excited, but quickly calm down once the initial introduction is over. Our dogs are not left unattended/uncrated with guests unless absolutely necessary. If we needed to leave the house quickly for whatever reason, you would be notified and your dog would come with us to remain under our supervision at all times. In-home visits and/or care- I am careful and aware of not letting pets outdoors unless explicitly told to do so. I have indoor only cats so I understand how important it is to check the cracks for sneaky paws and noses before opening doors. I will not wander around the home; it is strictly in to fill water and food, clean litter boxes, and spend a little time sitting on the kitchen floor to offer attention and pets (when the animal permits it). Your space is private and personal, and I am honored to have your trust in caring for your pets and your home.

“This was my first experience leaving our dog, Nova (border collie), with strangers overnight, but Natalie allowed us to visit with her twice at her home a few days before the booking, and that helped tremendously. I really appreciated that. Nova warmed to Natalie right away and I know this made Nova feel more secure when I dropped her off for the weekend. I certainly felt better about leaving her there because she didn't seem as anxious as she was the first time we visited. Also, Nova is the only animal in our household and she "rules the roost," so I was glad that she had other canine company. Natalie sent texts and photos to me while I was away and Nova looked alert, calm, and content. I really appreciated getting little messages about Nova and answering any questions Natalie may have had. While I did think about Nova a lot during the weekend (we've had her all her life and she's 9 now), I did not worry about her. I felt she was safe, looked after, and treated kindly. If I had to board her again close by, my first choice would be Natalie. Thank you so much, Natalie!”

From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. They have my attention 24/7 full time. I don't split my attention with work from home job so your loved one has literally 24/7 attention! Let's meet or chat and say HI ! I have a small dog of my own, a little whipper snapper Klee Kai who is a retired service dog. But he respects older dogs too. I am a good pet human to those I am caring for. Your dog has safe and spacious areas to play and there are walking/snowmobile trails very close by where I take longer walks 3-4 times a day weather permitting and depending on your dog's energy level . I have had hens, rabbits, dogs, birds, farm animals and plenty of other critters over the years so am very accustomed to caring for animals on a daily basis. I have dog training experience. Your dog must be house trained, spayed or neutered and know basic commands,be non aggressive and leash trained and have topical flea/tick treatment and be up to date on all vaccinations. Unless you direct, I don't put pets in a crate though I do have 2 available if you prefer I use it at night. Your pet is with me 24/7 so has company and supervision. I have a fully fenced area but it's NOT SUITABLE if your dog digs under fences or can jump a 4' fence! I live walking distance to really nice hiking/snow mobile trails. I keep dogs on a leash at all times except in my fenced area where they can stretch and for bathroom and play. I adjust my routine to your pet. This is my full time passion. I'm not a kid filling in time and do this because I absolutely love having your pup! I take your dog on multiple walks every day. If I am taking care of your pet in your home, they get the same attention while I'm at your home, though I do prefer boarding at my home. I require owners permission to transport your dog in my vehicle to the hiking trails since I won't cross any busier roads with any pet on a leash. It's safer to drive to them a few minutes away. Your pets are NEVER EVER left unattended and alone in my vehicle. Dogs must come clean (no bad or strong smells), food dishes, adequate food for the time they are with me, a favorite toy (though I have a full box of clean toys) and vet info in advance. PLEASE NOTE, DOGGY DAY CARE is any 8 hour period until 5:30 PM daily. Prefer 8:30 AM arrival but earlier is definitely possible too. After 8 hrs, it's an additional $10 hr. This site doesn't let me customize schedules with time frames. This is full time for me. Pick up/drop off is between 8:30AM - 5:30 PM but can be earlier or later with advance notice. Extended hours are available with prior notice and additional fee of $15 hr. Doggie day care is between 8:30AM- 5:30 PM (8 hrs per session between those hours. Day care is no more than 8 hrs for the flat daily rate. Overnight rates are 24 hrs and $15 hr will be added after 24 hrs I have a fenced yard which pets are free to be in unleashed. My front deck is gated so pets can be outside under cover. Back deck is also enclosed into the pet area and has a roof.

About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

About: I have had my own dogs and cats since I was little! I now live in Lewiston with my two cats, and I often babysit my sisters two dogs. I love all animals big or small, and I’m often the one trying to pet all the neighborhood dogs and cats. I am available everyday as I am done teaching for the summer starting June 11th. “Already booked follow up walks! We had reached out to a few people to see about getting Brinkley a regular Saturday walker. One of my top choices messaged back and said she was out of town for a couple weeks but Riley was staying at her place and could pick up the ones until she is back. Riley came by and hung out with us and Brinkley for 20-minutes before the walk! He is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up and she was so great with him. It was crazy cold that day and Riley had zero hesitation -- and she was engaged every second... even longer than she needed to! We've had a couple of bad walker experiences as of late (either ignoring our one non-negotiable rule which almost ended in tragedy or taking him to the park and sitting with him for long periods of time, so he didn't get any exercise), so Riley was a breath of fresh air! Brinkley did very well with her and came back as a tuckered out, super cuddly pup. Couldn't ask for anything more! I've already confirmed Riley for walks for the rest of the time she's in town.”

About: I have taken care of various different fur babies my whole life. From my grandma’s elderly diabetic cat, to many little baby kittens. About: Hello! I am a graduate student looking to give pups some love in my free time. My parents started their own dog daycare, lodging, grooming and training center that will be 15 years in business this summer. For over a decade I spent my school breaks and many weekends helping out will all things dogs so I have quite a bit of experience including training! I also have my own pup, Nova! I am in a full time graduate program so my availability may change week-to-week but I will be available for a few hours each weekend day at the very least! About: Hi, I'm Kaitlin! I've been caring for pets for 20+ years, for both my own pets and others. I currently have three dog-savvy indoor cats, 2 “house dogs”, and I treat every pet I care for like my own. I have children in my home (ages range from 16 – 4) who have all grown up with both cats and dogs and are well versed in respecting their personal space. I offer drop-ins to provide potty breaks, mid-day walks, house sitting for your cats, dog boarding in my home, and doggy daycare services. I work from home for the majority of the week, so my home offers constant companionship for those needing some support during the day or while their people are away. A few things that set my care apart: - Experience with crate training/trained dogs. I can offer support in that field if it is something you are working on with your dog. - While I do not currently have a fenced-in yard, I do live on a private dead-end road in a quiet neighborhood. We do not have heavy traffic and can walk for as long as necessary to tucker your pup out. - Daily photos of your pet for check-in purposes, or if they’re just being cute. - Experience with puppies and young dogs, as well as older dogs who may prefer a quieter environment. My home office space provides a calm space to spend the day with me individually. - Competitive rates and flexible scheduling. - Bonus: I also have experience with chickens and freshwater aquariums and can accommodate check-in visits to refresh water and feed as long as instructions are provided. Your pet will always feel loved, safe, and comfortable while in my care. My husband and I both currently work from home Monday through Friday and can provide constant supervision and attention to our guests. If your pet prefers a quiet environment as opposed to the hustle and bustle of family life, we do have the ability to provide quieter settings. As mentioned above, if your pet requires a crate to feel safe and secure, we have the experience and space to accommodate that. I do require that for overnight bookings, if your dog is crate trained, that you bring their crate with them. I love taking photos of my own pets, so if that offers peace of mind to our guests, I am more than happy to oblige. A meet and greet before a booking is preferred to ensure our dogs can get along. My dogs are both neutered/spayed and have not had any experiences with aggression towards other dogs. They do get excited, but quickly calm down once the initial introduction is over. Our dogs are not left unattended/uncrated with guests unless absolutely necessary. If we needed to leave the house quickly for whatever reason, you would be notified and your dog would come with us to remain under our supervision at all times. In-home visits and/or care- I am careful and aware of not letting pets outdoors unless explicitly told to do so. I have indoor only cats so I understand how important it is to check the cracks for sneaky paws and noses before opening doors. I will not wander around the home; it is strictly in to fill water and food, clean litter boxes, and spend a little time sitting on the kitchen floor to offer attention and pets (when the animal permits it). Your space is private and personal, and I am honored to have your trust in caring for your pets and your home.

“This was my first experience leaving our dog, Nova (border collie), with strangers overnight, but Natalie allowed us to visit with her twice at her home a few days before the booking, and that helped tremendously. I really appreciated that. Nova warmed to Natalie right away and I know this made Nova feel more secure when I dropped her off for the weekend. I certainly felt better about leaving her there because she didn't seem as anxious as she was the first time we visited. Also, Nova is the only animal in our household and she "rules the roost," so I was glad that she had other canine company. Natalie sent texts and photos to me while I was away and Nova looked alert, calm, and content. I really appreciated getting little messages about Nova and answering any questions Natalie may have had. While I did think about Nova a lot during the weekend (we've had her all her life and she's 9 now), I did not worry about her. I felt she was safe, looked after, and treated kindly.
