I really appreciated her taking time to talk about all aspects of our dogs stay with her. Our dog Duke was spoiled. He was able to get out and play with her dog and run on the trails. Susan sent me a few emails to let me know Duke had settled in nicely and I even received photos - very nice! Needless to say, he had a wonderful time. About: I currently work as a kennel technician at an animal shelter. I am experienced in handling dogs of all temperaments, prioritizing the dog’s safety and my own safety. I’ve pet sat for many clients. I have taken care of older dogs and young dogs. I am comfortable taking care of dogs of all temperaments. My services include dog walking, playing fetch, and feeding and watering. I am currently a part time employee at an animal shelter. However, I am not be working everyday of the week, or all day. I will have plenty of time to care for your pups in the morning time and evening time. About: You can be sure that your sweet pup will get the time, love, care, and exercise that they need while they are in my care! I am currently stay at home with my four year old and own a cleaning company. I only clean a few hours a day Monday through Thursday so I’ll have plenty of time to play with a furry pal! I love to walk around our beautiful neighborhood several times a day to get plenty of steps in. We have a large yard in a safe neighborhood. The dog/dogs will be leashed and with me anytime we are outside. I have a large metal crate that the dog can stay in when it needs a rest!

About: I’ve had animals in my house sense I was born and have had a role in taking care of them for as long as I can remember. I now have my own very spoiled creatures I’m working and going to school but I’m home a lot to I’m mostly looking for something to do in my spare time for a little extra cash Currently living with my parents while I finish school. About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. I really appreciated her taking time to talk about all aspects of our dogs stay with her. Our dog Duke was spoiled. He was able to get out and play with her dog and run on the trails. Susan sent me a few emails to let me know Duke had settled in nicely and I even received photos - very nice! Needless to say, he had a wonderful time. I am currently stay at home with my four year old and own a cleaning company. I only clean a few hours a day Monday through Thursday so I’ll have plenty of time to play with a furry pal! I love to walk around our beautiful neighborhood several times a day to get plenty of steps in. We have a large yard in a safe neighborhood. The dog/dogs will be leashed and with me anytime we are outside. I have a large metal crate that the dog can stay in when it needs a rest!

I have a highly reactive dog, and was extremely nervous to leave him with someone, but she had great communication with me leading up to his stay and handled his behavior wonderfully, but of more importance, she also keyed into what I needed to ensure both he, and they, were comfortable together so I could relax and enjoy my vacation without stressing over how he was doing there. We had a lot of communication on the onset to calm my nerves, and once I knew he and they were settled comfortably, we had a few "he's doing great" check ins.
